To many who study Chinese history, there is the theory of history having cycles that often repeat throughout time. Dynasties rise and dynasties fall, but the Mandate of Heaven endures. Of course this is merely one theory among many used to analyze history, perhaps this idea is not so useful for looking at the past. So the theme is "History Repeats" wether you choose to write about something as big as a nation as personal as a single lifetime is all in your hands. Perhaps history does not have to repeat itself, perhaps it only rhymes. Either way, the idea of the past repeating itself must be present, even if only as a fear. I'm a big fan of historical fiction and drama myself, but I'd love to see whatever you guys come up with for the prompt!

This is all cool stuff, I think I've Settled on my inspiration being a certain character from A Song of Ice and Fire. Don't think I'll be quite able to match up lyrics to the prompt's song when this is the theme that's buzzing through my head 😄

I would have Charles XII win the Great Northern War just to see what Geopolitics would be like with a weakened Russia since they are such a big player on the world stage that an alternate place of them in the 1700s onward would look so different. The fanbase is gonna explode no matter what happens, it's star wars fans, it's a given. It's been okay so far. I should be admin and take over everything of course. I like Fire Emblem, wanted to get more info and shit. 1. Knights of the Old Republic video game series is still one of my favorite things of the old Expanded universe, a solid game series with fun stories. 2. The Scale of the conflicts, the exotic and epic nature of the adventure, and the characters and events being larger than life, it was adventure, excitement and tragedy that made a fun ride. 3.
