It'd be nice if Nintendo/IS opened a poll for international players after the game releases everywhere.

Just read Shara and Dia supports. At the end, all I could think of was an image similar to this. I couldn't stop laughing.

Unlock all support conversations so I can read them all at my leisure.

My original reply was gonna be the following... "Awakening's. I watch the opening cinematic almost every time I turn on the game for a session. I can't get enough of it." But then I saw an option for Melee's remix... Nothing beats Melee's. NOTHING! (Yes, I know it's mostly "Together We Ride".) Pretty much this, though. I remember when I was trying to stay awake for a Nintendo direct, and I decided to sleep for a few hours while leaving the stream page open on my laptop. While half-asleep, I hear the Fire Emblem theme play, and I shoot out of my bed and head for the laptop, and I see the first trailer for Fire Emblem Fates playing. So goooood...

Has anyone who ordered from Crunchyroll received theirs yet or at least received notification that it has shipped? My order remains unchanged, and I'm getting worried.

I would never want to drop Owain (best kid), but if I could add 3 more anyway, it'd be Noire, Brady, and Cynthia. Noire can be Bowman and Dark Mage, Brady can be Priest and Rod Knight (yeah, they're similar, but whatever), and Cynthia can be Pegasus Warrior and Knight.

A little piece of Henry's old past almost slipped out in his support with Panne. He said he was abandoned by his parents in the woods and was raised by the "nice animals" who lived there. Later, they died. The End. I had to look up that support because I really thought he said something about a wolf in the English version, but no.

After reading a couple more of her supports, I can conclude that she has some aggressive tendencies. I can see why some of the chars think it's a problem. She's too forceful. She took one trait from her father and cranked it to 11.

I hope people don't actually think the small build is the default female avatar. I know that's super duper nitpicky and nobody should care, but I just had the thought after the main site updated the Nohr characters. As for me, I like being the tall big dude. Makes me feel stronk.

I always ship for love first. The only time I ship for stats is when the couple I happened to ship ends up giving their kid all the right stats and skills that I just never tear them apart in subsequent playthroughs, or there's a second-gen character I wanna marry, so I get her the best dad so she can live up to my standards. Examples: 1. I thought Lissa and Donnel made a really cute couple. A princess getting together with a lowly farmer. It's like a fairy tale! When I got Owain, I realized that I loved giving him names for his weapons because he does too, and having Armsthrift all the time lets him keep those special weapons. So, I never separated Lissa and Donnel after that (except the time when I married her). 2. I REALLY wanted to marry Noire in my last playthrough of Awakening, based purely on love, but I wanted my girl to have Galeforce, so I paired Tharja with Gaius just for that. All my previous wives had galeforce, so I was kinda spoiled with it. I always decide who I want to pair up based on love first, with stats coming later.

Yeah, that really sucks, and is a poor design decision honestly. They should have added at least one extra lady that can marry 1st-gen guys. I've coped with the fact that I just shouldn't care, and I'm gonna marry who I really love (on the first playthrough at least). Subsequent playthroughs will be me marrying whoever is next in line, and since there is a second-gen on each route I'm interested in, as well as one first-gen who only supports the avatar on Hoshido that I like, I'll see all the kids eventually. --- I guess I should explain why I listed the Hoshido characters. Hopefully, I won't sound too weird. Rinka: I was gunning for her since day 1 of her reveal. She's strong with some nice muscles. (Them abs, tho.) She's got a cute face, too, and she's brown. (I'm black, so she was an instant eye-catcher for me.) I'm not a fan of the white hair, though. Don't get why all the brown chicks in Awakening and this game have to have light-colored hair. Oboro: She was my #2 when I first saw her. Something about how facial expression, how smug she looks, I don't know. It just stuck with me in a good way. It makes me very curious to know more about her personality outside of her Nohr hatred. Her Japanese voice caught me completely off-guard, though. Did not expect that. (I wasn't really expecting anything to be honest.) I'm very curious what her English voice will sound like now. Setsuna: She's really slooooowww... Normally, I'd be too impatient with someone like that, but... she's... SO... ADORABLE! (Support spoilers below) (Those lips, tho.) Her design reminds me of Angel from King of Fighters, just with more clothes on. XD Crimson: I'm not sure why I put her here to be honest. She looks attractive, her freckles were kind of an eye-catcher, and I like her personality. Her support with male Kamui was decent. She's not particularly high on the list, though. Kinu: (Support spoilers below) That's about it. I know I listed Orochi. She's kinda flirty, but I don't know much else about her. Oh, I didn't list her, but I'm thinking about Sophie as well. The expression on her face in her base portrait just looks so pure. She genuinely looks like a sweet-heart. It might also be fun to break the bro code with Silas like I did to Chrom. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Clearly, I'm too into this. XD

You're silly. XD (In a good way.) I just used "waifu" and "husbando" cuz they're funny to say. You don't have to say them if you don't like them. I like Hana. She seems like a cool chick. I found her really cute back in the first trailer when she was first shown with her eyes closed. She's not particularly high on my radar, though. Effie seems cool, but not all that interesting to me. I like that sweet look on her face, though. It makes her look like a really caring person. On a side note, I'm gonna try and hope to forget all the support conversations I've read by the time the game comes out next year. I can't read any more until then. It probably won't work...

Should I put the details of a character under a spoiler or put the characters' names under a spoiler? Or, should I add another tag to the title warning about character details?

In reality, I could just play the game, analyze their personalities, and decide who I really want based on experience. However, I've already spoiled the support conversations of the ladies I was most interested in. ;_; I could also, in reality, make multiple files and marry a different waifu in each one, but... there are so MANY GOOD CHOICES! Now, in Nohr, it's pretty easy to decide, as I'm not a fan of most of the women there. I only really like Nyx and Ophelia. Nyx is the most interesting character with a cool design. Ophelia is Odin's daughter, and Owain is the GOAT, and she seems just as fun. Hoshido... is much MUCH tougher... There's Rinka, Oboro, Setsuna, Kinu, Crimson, and possibly Orochi. They're at the top. So many of the gals at Hoshido have such attractive designs and great personalities to boot! Even after reading their support conversations, I still can't decide! I can't wed 'em all! Arrrgh! *Ahem!* So, how about y'all?

Well, to be fair, I haven't seen every person's feedback; however, I have seen a few complaints regarding the story and characters and such. The "hate" I've seen the most of is people trashing the game because they don't like the direction the franchise is going. Whether it's the new gameplay elements, mechanics, or the extended fanservice, they just cannot accept the "new" Fire Emblem and do not want to. Not just veterans, either. Even people that had their start with Awakening. But that's enough dead horse beating.

I think Soleil is a fine character. The fact that she does whatever she wants without concern of what others think of her is admirable to me. But, that's not completely true as she's embarrassed about her bad dancing. So, that makes her even more likeable because she strikes a balance. What I don't like is how the Kamuis treat her, and it bothers me especially because as the avatar, I should at least be able to vaguely portray my thoughts and feelings upon a character made to represent me and my actions. For them to just completely disrespect her bothers me personally. Now, I know that's difficult to achieve when you give your avatar a voice and no speaking choices, but most of the time, at least for me, it has worked in my favor in Awakening because Robin (male, specifically) had enough of a neutral disposition that I was able to be accepting of the things he said. I dunno. Call me weird on that last paragraph.
