  1. Hmm... That's interesting. If that's the case, my only guess is that the live2D models remain, but they now have newly recorded dialogue to make up for the lack of touching in private quarters.

Anything else is probably programming work-arounds, for example tweaking Odin's personal skill to work with what I hope to be more than 8 English characters.

  2. "ANYTHING CAN CHANGE!"

    (Thanks, Chrom.)

Buuut, I'm fairly confident that somewhere along the course of my journeys, I'll marry Rinka, Oboro, Setsuna, and/or... Well, I thought I would marry Effie, but that EN voice right now... Gotta wait till the game comes out to hear more. Hoshido has so many great women: the aforementioned trio above, Hana, Crimson looks really cool, Kagerou has a super sexy JP voice (which doesn't matter, but I wanted to mention it anyway). However, Nohr's ladies just haven't appealed to me yet. The only other option I have left in this pre-release speculation is Flora, who I'm refraining from learning more about in order to avoid story spoilers. Oh, and I've omitted the option of marrying the children. Those kids are literally newborn babies as far as I'm concerned.

    So yeah. We shall see...

  3. You know, I just thought of something. Treehouse has the power to remove the skinship feature, I totally get that. But, NoA doesn't have enough power to literally make NoJ, THEIR head branch privatize their videos. I'm starting to wonder if it was IS who asked NoA to remove the feature and then ask NoJ to privatize the videos?

This is what I was saying before when telling people to not blame NoA for the videos. NCL (Nintendo Co. Ltd., what all of you are calling NoJ) is in charge of Nintendo's Japanese division and Nintendo as a whole. If they made the My Castle video private, it's because they saw skinship as a stain they needed to clean. They basically went, "Oops. We messed up." Also, to be honest, and I have no proof of this, but if internal staff weren't keen on skinship, then I doubt many Japanese players were either. That's just a hunch, though. I actually know a Japanese friend who didn't like the idea of skinship, but he was cool and hoped we'd get the game unaltered.

  4. Uh, now why would there be no dual-audio when Awakening had it? And as people pointed out, dual-audio would explain why localized Fates takes up more space than the Japanese version.

How big is the space difference? The difference in file size could easily be just how much space English text takes vs. Japanese text.

  5. I like the thought of a Tiki DLC map if she's recruitable AND supportable. Mainly just so I have a woman to marry in Nohr... (I honestly don't want to use DLC until Revelation.)

Another thing that would be interesting is DLC that involves Tharja, Gaius, and Cordelia meeting Rhajat, Gurei, and Caeldori.

Cordelia reunites with her daughter. Caeldori meets her grandmother. A-huhuhuhuhuhuh!

  6. Here's a passage from TvTropes on it

:" The skinship minigame was originally much more extremeexternal_link.gif, with the cursor being a hand and the ability to touch the character anywhere on their body, though it would have been limited to whoever the Avatar married. It was to the point that even some of the developers considered it disgusting, and Nintendo ultimately agreed with them and asked to tone it down."

Honestly I like the original version more. Being very intimate with your spouse is a lot less creepy than being intimate with everybody in the army, and far more sensical. It baffles me why Team B is less liked than Team A, as it seems it was Team's A fault that FE-Amie was reworked so you could do it with everyone, instead of just your spouse.

That said, I'm not in favor of skinship being in the series, but rather, if it had to be in the series, I prefer Team B's original concept of it over the finalized version where Kamui is basically a serial molester.

I'm with you on this. I was only gonna use it on the person I banged. I mean, obviously I'd tone it down to how it looks now, but still keep it restricted to your spouse.

  7. In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS, Bayonetta has two different "skins" (color palettes) that are based on her original game appearance and her appearance in the sequel. The Japanese version of Smash will feature Bayonetta's Japanese voice actress only for her Bayonetta 2 outfit since she didn't have a Japanese voice actress until the Bayonetta anime film that was brought back for Bayonetta 2.

I know about the skins, but was the voice part confirmed? That's weird. I mean, it's not something I'd complain about, and it's kinda cool in a way (cuz her English voice is perfect and all walks of life must listen to it). It's just... weird, at least in Smash Bros.' standards.
