  1. Well, if you want clues to your answer, Birthright is the version that sold out the most in Japan. Chances are, it might also be the most imported.
  2. How does the healing from the blessed weapons (like Nohr's Blessed Lance) work? Do I need to use it as my active weapon or will it work like a vulnerary/whatever the name of the game's healing potion is?
  3. Good question. But I can tell who I'm NOT having my character marry. Azura and Laslow.
  4. Yeah, I'll scrap Magnus. Remembering Ogre Battle 64, he would fit better for my non-existant Birthright run. Here's his replacement. And it's a girl: Name: Antigone (if you have any better names, lemme know) Class: Great Lord (that's Lucina's class, right?) Path: Conquest Married to: TBD
  5. Nohr. Hoshido is just Nintendo of Japan's attempt at being revisionists.
  6. And the lead unit is the one who starts the battle, right?
  7. I know, hence why I made the reference to the DLC. I was mostly asking about which skills, assets and flaws would be best for it.
  8. Anyone have some build suggestions for the Dread Fighter? Well, mostly for the game itself, not for PvP. Also, I'm definitely giving it the Fruit knife. Because it can be used to heal 10 HP. Yay.
  9. Well, we can agree that Dragonstones suck, so using Corrin like how we'd use a manakete/Dragon-type Laguz will not work. Kind of a waste of an arsenal spot. Any suggestion on how to roll one? For the record, it'll mostly be for my Revelations run, because, well, the DLC isn't even out and chances are, Conquest may or may not be a pain.
  10. And kudos to NoA for their attempts to avoid favoritism towards either path. Because seriously, the Japanese version have Hoshido glorified to no end. Freaking revisionists.
  11. That, and I think NoA altered some lines to put Hoshido in the gray, right?
  12. Pretty much. Also, everyone better remember to ask their VG shop people to get the code for the other path, so you all can get the Dread Fighter/Dark Falcon classes.
  13. Kinda makes me glad to prioritize sword-using classes should I wish to reclass. Thanks for the answers.
  14. I couldn't care less about dual audio. Also, about the facepetting... well...
  15. Let's get this out of the way: Side: Any side that isn't Hoshido Now, for the characters. So far, just two guys. Just so you know, most of anything beyond that line might be subject to change: Name: Magnus Class: Dread Fighter Side: Nohr Married to: TBD Name: Eli (becauseCamClarkeisoneoftheVAshurrdurrMetalGear) Path: Revelation Class: Grandmaster Married to: TBD
  16. Your mileage might vary on if that question is spoileriffic, but here goes.
  17. Like how Ike's class is Vanguard yet uses his Hero design from Radiant Dawn. Seriously, Nintendo should start using the promoted forms instead of their starter ones for Smash. Then again, I don't think the skin-tight armor thing that Corrin's default class wear would be either practical or comfortable.
  18. I'll make Corrin a Grandmaster on my Revelations playthrough. Besides, since you guys said that dragonstones suck in this game, what's the point of having them? As for my Conquest playthrough... I'm not even sure if I want to use a DLC class on him. If I do, it'll most likely be Dread Fighter, since he has the entire triangle covered. That, and that Fruit Knife.
  19. Would Sol (heal for half the damage you do to your enemy) work for Dark Blood? If no, any alternatives?
  20. The Royal Royale or going at the Crystal Ball at your Castle and go to it's bonus menu, claiming two Dread Scrolls.
  21. Does anyone plan on going Dread Fighter with their Corn or anyone else? If so, any recommendations on how to roll one?
  22. Thanks for the answers. Anyway, I got something else: Dread fighter on Corrin: Yay or nay?
  23. Well, if IS plan on keeping the second generation, they probably better add something like a brothel, I dunno. I mean, I don't think in vitro fecundation is possible in the middle ages, right?
