  1. Download the tilesets that come with Tiled, those ones are easier to look at. While you're at it, just switch to Tiled. It's better than Mappy.
  2. Alternatively, you can find them using Nightmare.
  3. That's weird, never heard of that happening before. I'll look into it. Did you suspend/resume at some point during the chapter? That apparently messes up with some event IDs, which may be the reason why you can't seize.
  4. Seize Melgen (the castle where Ishtor was standing). You also get the opportunity to recruit Tinny by doing that. Not anytime soon, sadly. I'm just starting with C12, and v3.0, as I have said before, will be the full game. Have this in the meantime
  5. c11's done, going to work on c12 now
  6. Don't put spaces after the commas. UNIT Lyn_t LynLord 0x00 Level(1, Ally, 0) [7,4] [7,7] [IronSword] NoAI Should be this UNIT Lyn_t LynLord 0x00 Level(1,Ally,0) [7,4] [7,7] [IronSword] NoAI

    Xbox One.

Thank god they said it's a game console, otherwise I'd have forgotten. I want that last hour back.
  8. Finally got something new to show Chapter 11 is coming along nicely, it's not a huge chapter so it shouldn't take too long to finish.

    FEE3 2013

I think I could potentially have something new to show by then, so sign me up. 2-3 months should be enough to finish a single chapter, right? not for me
  10. This thread covers it, though I can't remember if a solution was found. It only seemed to happen in Eliwood (and Hector) mode. I think it is a VBA error (if that's what you're using). At least I heard that some time ago, it may be false.
  11. I like the way it looks, it isn't really meant to be a thin sword. A Master Seal, you can only visit it in Adults mode. Includes secret ones. Beginning of Chapter 11. Maybe eventually, and it will be changed. What? No, there will be no arenas in this game. And the game isn't really scarce on gold: Yewfelle will appear somewhere in Thracia, and Forseti somewhere in Miletos. EDIT: Goddamn like every bbcode is broken. I fix something and something else breaks.
  12. Yeha, you can probably notice I'm not really that experienced with mountains. I was mosltly trying to get every piece in the mountain to fit, and forgot to consider how high the moutain should be. A lot of those I couldn't do much since there were no tiles that fitted correctly. I did fix what I could though. I'm surprised those slipped by, since in other parts of the map I used the correct tile. I know, they just look so good~
  13. Sorry I haven't been answering, been a bit busy lately. I don't want to do a Longbow tree (I find them really, really annoying whene it's enemies that have them). We'll see what I can come up with. Patch ends at Chapter 10x (or 10 if you didn't get the sidequest). Next real version (v3.0) will feature the full game. Made it that way for two reasons: so it feels like the enemy is progressing as you do, and for underleveled characters to be able to catch up. I really don't like when games have you at lategame with enemies that are level 1. Oh yeah, units, mostly the ones I used mainly. You be the judge here. Wow, you got unlucky there. For anyone that's interested on what I've been working on, check this. Actual work on Chapter 11 will start when I've got Leif's promoted animation ready (If anyone is willing to script it for me when it's ready so I don't have to learn how... ) Also, regarding the poll, I'm going to leave it open for a bit more. While the first and second questions seem to be answered already, there's no real veredict on the last one, so I can't decide just yet. If anyone has any idea of other types of axes I could add, please tell!
  14. Maps. [spoiler=Chapter 11 Map] [spoiler=Chapter 12 Map] A cool thing (in my opinion) that I did while making these maps, was making them fit each other. So you can put them together and get: Another thing which I found interesting while looking at old maps is the evolution of the Chapter 1 (previously the Prologue) map over time. From left to right, oldest to newest. [spoiler=Chapter 1 evolution] The first map has missing pieces since instead of being a single shitty chapter, it was two shitty chapters. First version: early 2010 IIRC. Last version: last semester of 2012 I think. The other map which also received huge updates was Chapter 6's (previously Chapter 5). [spoiler=Chapter 6 evolution] Original one. New version. In game it uses a different palette since I thought it looked nicer. And that's about it. Now it's time to work on battle sprites (of which I've only ever done a single one, and it was a splice haha):
  15. I was thinking of rather than doing three weapon trees, two ones plus three effective weapons per weapon type. That has been in my plans ever since I started this hack.
  16. None, but there is going to be another Mage Knight joining near the end of the game. I plan to keep most of what was in the areas near the castles, all that is being removed is the castle themselves. So yeah, Ridayle would be around Chronos now, and a few ballistas or just a few archers will be near Thracia to compensate (this one maybe not, since too many ballistas are a pain). Adding ranged axes is a pain, which is why I didn't instantly add a middle ground axe between a Hand Axe and the Tomahawk. A shield Axe seems like a good idea though. Updated the poll with more options.
  17. Added a new poll with questions regarding design choices for the future. Question 1 The reasoning behind this is two things: There are already 3 other bishops planned for the hack (Lana, Corple and another person). More variety since Nanna is the only possible Valkyrie. Question 2 This one is harder to explain. Both of those castles aren't really that relevant to the story (nothing that I can't move around to fit), and none of them are really that important. Removing them would allow me to handle a few chapters better and not just tackle them on without a real purpose. For anyone who's not sure of which castles those are, it's these ones. Question 3 Swords get Blades, Lances get Javelins, so I thought Axes could also get another tree of weapons. They would have a very high hit (slightly below swords), in exchange of being weaker than their regular versions. I know some of these may sound weird, so that's why I'm asking. I think all these could improve the game, but I'd like to hear everyone's opinion beforehand. As for current progress, Chapter 11's map is done, and Chapter 12's is about halfway done. That's about it.
  18. There's also the Balmung in 7x (and the ones in the Prologue, but those don't really count). Any save file from a chapter before chapter 6 (or one from chapter 6 assuming you restart the chapter) will work and be comaptible with future versions.
  19. Yes, but supports aren't really likely to be in v3.0 (unless someone else wants to write them). Right now this seems like a much bigger issue, and I'm trying to think of other solutions so people aren't forced to start again. Oops, accidentally made it a .7z instead of a .zip file. Fixed.
  20. And here it is. v2.2 download! Changelog from v2.1 About the holy weapons This really sucks and I just noticed it while fixing other stuff. In the previous release, I forgot to make Ares, Faval and Ced able to use their holy weapons. While I have fixed this in v2.2, people who were played the previous version won't be able to use them (since I can't modify character data after a unit is recruited). If you have a savefile before or at Chapter 6, as long as you restart that chapter, you shouldn't have any problems. For those who no longer have a save at that chapter, I'm really sorry for not noticing this before. This is all really important if you plan to use the same savefile in v3.0. If you plan on restaring again on that version, then don't worry about this. Your saves from v2.0 and v2.1 should be compatible with this version, but for safety measures, you should restart the chapter you were in. And as mentioned before, if you have a savefile from before or at Chapter 6, please use that instead so you can keep using it once v3.0 is released.
  21. Most of it is more enemies/reinforcements and some are different between modes. There's also some other differences other than enemies. There's nothing (really important) left that is specific to a single character. If you want something that is easily missable, deploy a strong bow unit in Chapter 7, give them a longbow (gotten in that same chapter) and watch the map carefully... And no, neither Ishtar or Ishtor is recruitable. I'll call it Fire Emblem FIVE-ever. Fun fact: Adults mode was originally going to be called 5ever.
  22. A Master Seal. Maybe, will see what I can do. Not in this version. You'll get a promotion item for them in Chapter 11. Not meant to return yet. Will come back a bit later. Oops. Think back to how Lex got his in FE4. It's something similar.
