I'm waiting for Nah from Awakening, otherwise most are from fates whom I'm waiting for which are Nyx, Flora, Selkie and Veloura mostly.
As I get to know Echoes aka Gaiden characters I'll probably want several of them as well.

^Lol you two made me read discounted as discontinued. Granted I just woke up but I was like "how the hell did the game get discontinued when it's not even a year old"
This made me thinking. The UI is probably the biggest challenge but is it really that hard? I mean is it really that hard to put Wii U gamepad UI into like the pause menu or something? You know like how any other rpg game usually do it? Unless these stuff needs to be done in real time I guess it will be a challenge but even then there is ways to tackle that.

Score of 4225, rank 17 631. I think I'll get closer to my last week score of ~4400 if I manage to get a no death run.

Now with the newly released new information Effie now called Faye that's is Alm childhood friend and from the looks of it have obvious crush on him. Now I never played original Gaiden nor the previous remakes IS have done in the past but I do know that Alm x Celicia are the canon pairings (to be honest anyone should see this from a mile away anyway). Also with more information coming it seems support conversation are in the game. Whenever the marriage is in the game is still up in the air.
The point is I'm trying to make is if you can choose whom Alm will end up with between Faye or Celicia are you for or against it? Or do you think because of Alm x Celicia are canon parings IS will simply say no and won't permit it and we another Cordelia/Oboro in our hands?
Personally I'm all for it having the option who Alm will end up with (if the game allows it that is). I love having options in games since this will increase the replayability and I do hope that IS will give me the option to do so.
What do you guys think?

Wait it was confirmed? When and where? I do know that the UK direct video it said only in English Voices. I took it as UK direct is directed to the Europe audience and thus telling us out the gate that there will be no Spanish/German/French voices in the game. Considering these countries loves to dub everything, not whenever dual audio is actually in the game or not.

While I like what I have heard from the english voices so far but I still hope for a dual audio option to be included seeing the localization is done by 8-4.
From the looks of it there will be supports in the game. This is so much yes for me since I'm scared if there won't be any support convos.

I'll vote for Nowi, simply because she's a dragon. Who doesn't love dragons? It does help that she can counter too.

oh okay, even on hard and lunatic difficulties? Then as my last suggestion is just pure experimentation with the units you currently have. You never know you might find a good synergy that works well on something. Since from my experience it's all about the waiting game and patience. Nothing more nothing less sadly.

I meant the youtuber that discuss the most efficient way to summon a hero 5* in general for future reference when a banner does come that interest you. From what I can tell he'll update the calculation how likely you can get one by that particular banner.
And I'm just saying don't get hung up that you can't earn feathers consistently and just save the one you have for future units that may be needs to be upgraded unless you already have a couple that you want to upgrade that is. I'm just throwing out a suggestion that play as casually as possible. Such as just come back for the story missions and other special that are easy to do and doesn't frustrate yourself on the other features that will just bang your head to the wall. Simply put, just wait for the "perfect" opportunity to strike.

@Anacybele I would suggest if you really start to get burned because there are no units you truly care and you don't want to spend any orbs for a 5* then ignore the arena for now. Also don't be bothered that you'll lose out of feathers because it will only frustrate you further. I would say only focus play the story missions and train up your current units to max if some isn't yet and stock pile on the daily bonuses you can get. So when the day comes for that Ike banner or heck any other character you really enjoy and want and then go all in. But before you go all in then check before hand what's the most efficient way to earn that 5* on that particular banner. I mean I just found this guy:
TL;DR Just play it as casually as you can till you want to go all in with summon for that 5*. I believe you won't be as frustrated as you are now.

I've 3 armour units now but only Elfie is at lvl 20, my Gwyn is lvl 1 4* and my Draug is 2*... welp... Nope I'm not going to waste my time and train them. I now regret that I've sent Hana home because now there are two lunatic quest that I won't be able to complete this month...

You would have gotten a lower cost on Freddy if you merged 2 4* but as you said if you merged 2 3* Freddies then you didn't have to pay 2k feathers but more like 1900 feathers or something.

when you merge characters you'll get lower cost to upgrade to the next rarity. Although it has to be on the same rarity or it won't count. I.E several 4* merges will lower the cost to 5* a bit.
In this case I suspect he had +1 or +2 Nino as 4* that's why.

This won't be necessary simply because as any other Gacha game especially where there is some heavy meta involved like FEH there will be powercreep. It's just matter of when.
On topic though I would love Map preparation and what kind of units I will face not just what colour and weapon type it is Like you guys before me have already said.

Wow RNG really loved to troll me today. I spend about 150 orbs today trying to get Ninian. Where most of the time I only got 1 blue orb and one time it blessed me with 5 blue orbs! And the result was:
3 4* Abels?! WTF COME ON NOW WHAT ARE THE ODDS FOR THAT? Well at least on the plus side my Abel is now 4* lvl 5 with the mergings :/
Luckily my next summon she finally appeared:
My Ninian seems to have +def/-hp I dunno if that's a good IB set or not. I just hope when we get Azura banner in the future I don't have to use this many orbs D':

I have used about 100 orbs now and still no sign of the dragon dancer... AND SCREW YOU RNG WHY DO YOU KEEPING GIVING ME 1 OR 0 BLUE ORB!!!
I did however get a 5* Peri, yay I guess? I would be far more happy if it was Azura -.-

I just got 20k Feathers and I'm planning firstly to make the OG 3 char to 5* and I already made Sharena into 5* but the question is who do you think I should make 5* next? Anna or Alfonse? I'm heavily leaning towards Anna since I'm lacking green units for now.

You have about 1100-1200 flags in total right? I was with Lucina from the very beginning and I spend 400 flags in round 2&3 and just above 300 during round 1. During round 1&2 I ranked between 30k-50k bracket while on round 3 I ranked 84,657.
My total Score is 124,980, fml 20 points short of 125,000 this will cause serious issues with my OCD. My total rank is 22,110
Still I got decent amount of feathers so I'm not mad.

I read that how much score you can earn in Arena is affected by the characters rating, is that correct? I just managed to pull a no death run and scored 4,416 points and ranked 9,153. And I doubt I can manage to get a higher score with the units I have. Kinda suck since I can probably only be looking at the 5k-10k bracket at most considering I'll never be able to pull characters with the "highest " rating.
edit: With that said the character rating is based of their stats, right? This would mean you can't get to rank 1 unless you have a full team of +10

Man I really hope Ninian is Green because I'm in a dire need of green units which also makes more favourable RNG for me! Also now that I think about it. We only got 2 dancers so far, right? If Ninian is green then we have one dancer on each colour! Olivia is Red, Azura is blue and Ninian is green. This is all planned guys!

Interesting I was mainly thinking of the fun factor and the replayability here and not really the story consequences it may lead and/or how it can be implemented into the game. Like I was also thinking as a whole Alm x Celicia will and still considered the canon pairing but in the game there is a "what if" scenario or something where Alm can hook up with someone else as an alternative option for the player.
While I have no doubt I'll like Alm x Celicia pairing I'm just afraid I'll like Alm x Faye as much and for different reasons and say to myself "why won't the game allow to hook those two up!".
If there will be a mechanic that allows it in the first place. Although I can see why so many will be displeased or burned out if such mechanic is in the game, considering how Awakening and Fates turned out to be.
This is why I will never understand shippers that flip themselves saying X pairing is canon while pairing Y is not. Where in most cases I see both pairings as canon for different reasons.
