  1. Going with Lunatic/Classic. Only going to work with main chapters/invasions/paralouges and Armory/Shop/Private Quaters/Lilith/Farm/Mine/Arena/Forge. Not going to use any DLC/Path Bonuses/other MyCastles/Skill Buying.

I'll do a short write up for every chapter I guess, but I'm not going list my turn counts until the end. I'm expecting like 500-700? turns by the end, since I'm not trying to LTC.

    Here's my Corrin:

    Name: Camilla

    Boon/Bane: +Mag/-Lck

    Talent: Dragon

Malig is cool because magic for 1-2 range and high move/flying. Savage Blow lets me cheese Ryoma in C25. Gets Cavalier through marriage with Gunter, which lets me grab the skills while spamming Levin Sword as Paladin. Str+2, Trample, Elbow Room, and Defender should be enough to ORKO Takumi with one DF? I hope.

Also, got Meat and Onyx for my My Castle, which is cool because I'm going to use Laslow and Soleli as Ninjas. Still would have preferred Milk but I'll work with it.

    Prologue - 6

    Pretty standard stuff.

    Chapter 7

Pretty surprised I could do this only with 3 characters. With a HP/Str/Def tonic Corrin ORKOed everything on the map (except the boss ofc). Took a few resets to figure out how to do it w/o letting Effie, Elise, Silas get attacked. Mostly was just figuring out where to put Corrin. Arthur got 2 kills too.

    Chapter 8

Bought the heart seal and a bronze axe for Corrin. Only deployed Corrin, Jacob, and Arthur. This wasn't too bad. Turn 1 Jacob paired with Corrin and was able to freeze the top soldier. The rest was placing Jacob in range of dmages, taking them out, then having Corrin kill the fighters. I had to unequip Res +2 from Jacob so Fire dmages would attack him. Arthur got a few kills, Jacob took out the boss. Got lucky and the boss missed, which made it pretty easy. Got 3 villages too,

    Chapter 9

Also pretty easy. Deployed Corrin, Jacob, Arthur, and Niles. Corrin with Jacob pairup and a Hp/Str/Spd/Def tonic pretty much soloed the map. Had to get the first strike on the archers ofc. Got the rescue. I made a gamble and had Arthur attack the boss, which worked out. Arthur got the boss kill and got to level 10, which is sweet because I can promote him with the Master Seal in C10 and have him take on the archers on the right side, I think.

  2. EDIT: Here's the real question: would starting at Branch of Fate be acceptable? I know it's a casual draft and we just play in our own time and shit, but the intro bit is so boring, and I've never done a run without doing the first 5 chapters. so thoughts? I'm still doing other stuff atm, but I'm already on a lower difficulty than everyone else, and Idk if skipping the first 5 chapters is "acceptable". I probably just will, tbh, but it feels a bit wrong xD

Yea it's fine, play how you want.

  3. Looking at my team, I'm somewhat confident I can take on Lunatic. The only problem might be the early chapters, and going into Chapter 10 without a trained Silas/Effie seems intimidating. Maybe I'll make all units free for chapter 6-10 for myself.

I'll usually run 6 combat units and 6 pairup bots but looking at the team, I can only see 5 potential combat units. Probably going to use Corrin, Camilla, Camilla!Percy, Laslow, and Charlotte!Soleil. Pairup bots are gonna be Gunter, Gunter!Kana, Charlotte, Arthur and Azura!Dwyer. Ch25 shouldn't be a problem because I'll go +Mag/-Lck Malig FCorrin (probably going to name her Camilla for the lols) and I have Lungers for the bottom room of Ch26 and Endgame. Ch15Felicia and Flora will be on staff duties and Azura will be dancing.

I might make a short post-run unit evaluation post here.

  4. Also, how is this gonna work, we're just going to draft and then that's it, and we just beat the game in our own time?

Yup. Just draft teams and play however you want. Generally, drafts are like a competition where the players try to beat the game in the lowest turns possible with their team. I'm not really fond of low turn count playthroughs, but still wanted to try a draft. Hence, this is a "casual" draft.

    2 spots left.

  5. Casual as in you don't need to post your progress/turn counts. Note this is my first draft so let me know if I made any mistakes.

    Drafting:
    1. This draft is for 4 players.
    2. Snake Pick Order (1,2,3,4,4,3,2,1)

    Rules:
    1. You may choose the difficulty.
    2. Corrin, Gunter, Felicia, Jakob, Azura, and Kana are free for all.
    3. Rinkah, Kaze and Sakura are free in chapters 4-6.
    4. All units are free in Chapter 6 and 10.
    5. Undrafted units may trade, visit villages, and open doors/chests.

    [spoiler=Draftable Units]
    Arthur + Percy
    Benny + Ignatius
    Beruka
    Camilla
    Charlotte
    Dwyer
    Effie
    Elise
    Flora
    Izana
    Kaze + Midori
    Keaton + Velouria
    Laslow + Soleil
    Leo + Forrest
    Mozu
    Niles + Nina
    Nyx
    Odin + Ophelia
    Peri
    Selena
    Shigure
    Shura
    Silas + Sophie
    Xander + Siegbert

    Players:
TempestStorm: Beruka, Elise, Keaton + Velouria, Benny + Ignatius, Odin + Ophelia, Izana
avengerfive: Arthur + Percy, Camilla, Laslow + Soleil, Charlotte, Dwyer, Flora
Maxbear29: Niles + Nina, Effie, Selena, Kaze + Midori, Leo + Forrest, Nyx
Michelaar: Peri, Silas + Sophie, Xander + Siegbert, Shura, Mozu, Shigure

  6. Why not reverse Lunatic (or how was it called), where the enemies ALWAYS attacks first (besides when your Vantage activates ofcourse)?

I like this idea. Conquest Lunatic gets easy after the first time you play it. It would become much harder, but it would definitely be possible.

  7. Ryoma doesn't just dodgetank though. Along with his high avo, he still has vantage + high crit + astra + dual guard. I've done multiple runs on Lunatic and throwing Ryoma at the right side always worked. Yes he can die, but unless you're doing an ironman, there's no reason not to try. I'm pretty sure his success rate is higher then his fail rate.

  8. Yea it's not worth going down both sides. Both weapons are crappy and most of your units are level 20, so it's best to just take the easier route. A trained Kaze can clear the Sorc room pretty easily. The bottom room can be cheesed by breaking the door, retreating and tanking all the enemies with Camilla/Xander/someone tanky.

Entraping Hans before that helps because he's pretty threatening.

  9. Levin Sword Corrin is very strong. I would reclass after you get Dragon Fang, so at level 10 with the Heart Seal you get from the first shop. You can wait a little later and reclass with the C9 Heart Seal if you want to use Paladin Jacob. If you want to use Jacob as a pairup bot, Great Knight is good, but you might want to consider Butler/Stratagist for the Mag/Spd/Mov boosts.

Edit: Actually, I would suggest doing Corrin pairup with Gunter. Gunter gives much better offense boosts while still giving decent defensive and move boosts.

Corrin's offense with a Levin Sword starts to taper off nearing the end of the game. MaligKnight!Gunter essentially gives +5 Mag, which can make the difference between ORKOing and not ORKOing. He also gives Def, Res, and Mov, plus he is able to fly ferry Corrin places.

I believe doing this also allows you to get all the children, or maybe that's for another route.

    Kana will be kill tho.

  10. A lot of people have trouble with Chapter 5. It gets easier later on. Look up a guide or a youtube video. My suggestions are:

-Pairup Rinkah with Kaze. Kaze gets a huge Str and Def boost.

-Don't use Azura to attack. Dance Corrin or Kaze instead. Maybe Sakura if she is safe.

-Use Sakura's Personal Skill. It's super useful.

Keep trying. You will get it eventually.
