  1. I had trouble with the left room of 25 on Lunatic. The right side is managable with a Shurikenbreaker unit. I remember for Hard I just threw Xander in the left room and he cleaned it up. It wasn't gonna work on Lunatic. Those lunge puppets are the worst. I ended up rushing in, nabbing the silence and have having my Corrin finish off the boss.

  2. This isn't strictly true. Many enemies will still attack for 0, even if they'll get counterattacked, if they can apply debuffs or poison attacks (Poison Strike, Savage Blow, Grisly Wound). Some of the early Spear Fighters will chicken out, but by and large, the melee enemies will try their damnedest to make sure a player's tanks eat those Seal Def and Seal Spd debuffs.

If you ORKO the enemies, the skills won't go off. However the only units that can reliable tank and kill at 1-2 are Xander and Corrin.

  3. Thanks but after reading you guys I wonder if using a Dread Fighter can make things a little bit too easy. So I really don't know

Also not really comfortable about using pair up bot but why not

I was actually thinking about it, and I believe using Dreadfighter Corrin is gamebreaking, at least for early-midgame.

If you go Female MU, you have Jacob. You use the Dread Scroll on Corrin and you still have the First Seal for Paladin Jacob, and the second seal for WL Camilla. Dreadfighter Corrin with promoted bases + Paladin Jacob + WL Camilla would make Conquest Lunatic as brainless as Birthright. It seems so easy I'm kinda want to try it lol.

  4. Hi, I'm replaying Fates today and I need some advice about a Lunatic playtrough in Conquest :

    1) I plan on using all the royal families members + Niles, Elfie, Kaze and Felicia but I don't know who pick up besides these guys. Any ideas ?

    2) Who benefits the most from a heartseal ?

    3) I plan on using Corrin as a Dark mage or a Ninja Knight (the class with shuriken, axes and swords I forgot his real name), which is the best ?

    Thanks !

    1) I suggest using some pairup bots. Charlotte, Keaton, and Beruka are really good.

    2) If you are using Female Corrin, Jacob likes to get the first seal for Paladin. Otherwise, Corrin should get the first seal to work on weapon ranks. The second seal should go to Corrin if you swapped Jacob. If you didn't have Camilla go Wyvern Lord. I swap Camilla to WL right away in chapter 10, but you can wait until level 5 then swap.

3)I suggest Dread Fighter. For Corrin I would pick +Str -Mag with a Cavalier, Ninja, Wyvern Rider or Swordmaster Talent. All these classes offer really good skills to pick up when you get the chance.

  5. You don't have to use kids. I did Lunatic without using any children paralouges and it was fine. They make it easier anyways. However, if you don't use kids you really should find a way to cheese Endgame.

Edit: You don't really need capture either. Generic units take a ridiculous time to recruit. I only used Rallyman for Endgame because I needed the Rally Str for a somewhat reliable clear.

  6. Yea on Lunatic a character's level ups are seeded on recruitment. It's possible to reset for thier level up on thier requirement chapter, but past that, you can't reset for different level ups. I'm interested in seeing how reclassing effects this, because changing class changes a unit's total growth rates. Maybe it re-seeds the levelups? It should be easy to test.

  7. There is a Lunatic Club Thread, it's a little far down though, but you should have asked there. But while I'm here I might as well answer.

You need a strong Corrin. I believe the best are:

+Str, -Mag Ninja-> Master Ninja (The best Corrin imo)

    +Str/Mag, -Lck Cavalier -> Paladin

Other strong ones are Samurai, Wyvern Rider, and Dank Mage.

Other then that, use the royals. Camilla is easily the second best unit in the game. Xander is super good once his speed is patched up. Leo is Ok. Besides them, use whoever you want, however I strongly suggest you use Niles too. He helps for C25 and Endgame, the trickiest chapters in the game.

  8. I assume (but have no hard evidence) that this also applies for growing supports between two non-Avatar characters (via the random events in My Castle)? Let me know if you have any data regarding this.

I imagine you should be able to raise two units supports via the conversations as much as you want but I don't think there is an easy way to control them like MyRoom abuse. I'm pretty sure the conversations are random. You could possibly use MyCastle battles as well.

  9. Nice. 23-25 is the only hard part of Birthright imo. I recently did a run using 4 ninjas(Corrin, Kaze, Saizo, and Kagero) and I had them all go through Swordmaster to get Flowing Strike, Vantage and Astra. It was really only worth it on Corrin and Saizo, but it looked cool.

For the final boss the Hexing Rod works on him, which brings him down to 40 hp.

  10. I've used -Luck multiple times for my Lunatic runs. My Corrin rarely faced crit chances. You just need to use the chapter 4 Goodess Icon on your MU and your set. Later on, you get more Goddess Icons too. There's no reason to not use -Luck, really. As for the boon, I'd go +Str. +Mag is also really good, but I often dump the Spirit Dust you get on Hinoka so she can use the Bolt Naginata effectively.

  11. I haven't played Revelation yet. I'll probably do it on Lunatic first run. It shouldn't be that hard if I just use all the royals lol. I'll try a +Mag Cavalier MU. Hopefully I'll be able to run around with a Levin Sword and kill things, assuming I don't get Mag screwed.

  12. No, I had 4 rescue charges, married Niles to Azura to have Nina and Shigure with pass as well as a captured falcon knight to do rescue tricks. Beat it with that and then went back to beat it without it. 3rd PT on lunatic so wanted to beat it legit without the shenanigans.

I see. That's quite impressive. I never bothered to try beating Nohr Endgame legit even on hard. It always annoyed me that you could not save before Endgame, so I always rescue cheese it. It takes a good 2 minutes to beat CQ C27 too.

Forgot to address this bit, but since the topic is bumped again, I figured now would be a good time to mention that you always have access to seals online and can buy another one for Corrin if needed.

Regardless, I always give Jakob the first seal so that he can make quick work of Ch. 7 and carry the momentum from there.

I'll definitely try Paladin Jakob on my next CQ run. I usually give the T1 Shop Heart Seal to Corrin, and give the Ch.9 Heart Seal to Camilla.

That said, how does Paladin Jakob preform with the Ch.9 Heart Seal? Is he not as effective?
