    Anti-Mages?

    Magic hasn't been a problem for me in a long time now, since I have two very good magic killer units in my team that I could suggest for everyone: Peri and Niles. 

    Peri(5*) has 3 move which helps her reaching the target and having very good res (33 at level 40) and enough speed to not get doubled and enough strength to kill em. Peri can also bait and tank the enemy mages attack and upon next turn, debuff enemies defense within 2 spaces with threaten def- skill.

    Niles(4*) also deals good damage to mages with low defense and the Killer bow/Iceberg combination allows niles to add half of his high res stat(32 at level 40) to damage dealt in one round if he doubles the mage. Niles(4*) has also access to warding blow 3 which grants res+6 during combat if unit initiates the attack and Spur res 2 to grant res+3 to adjacent allies during combat.

    The only mage that has been problem for me is the physically tanky robin who can survive peri and deal heavy damage to my niles. I'd say Nino is very good Robin counter as I have almost always managed to double and thus, 1RKO Robins in the arena with Nino(4*).

    Since I haven’t post any of my pulls here yet, here’s all my summons from first to latest. 

    1st Summon:

    First I got Florina, then Est. Both youngest of the siblings. I ended up using Est in my team to kill of knights with heavy spear but She’s currently replaced by another unit. After siblings I got Peri, and even though I’m not a fan of her, I was happy to get 5* on my very first summon. 

    Olivia got benched and Azama became my healer whenever I feel like I need a healing for strategy, tho you could say he’s semi benched atm. Overall, since I didn’t go ReRoll route, I’m pretty ok with this being my first summon.

    2nd Summon:

    First was Sheena and Niles came second, whose still in my main team, actually. This was good since I was missing both, a good Green unit and a good archer at the time. 

    Then I summoned 3* Virion from the other gray stone and left from the summoning section. Why? Because I was content with Sheena as an axe user and tought I would not need other axe users and wanted to save rest of my orbs. I totally forgot I could also get a green mage or manakete from the green stone too…

    (Rip potential Nino :cry: )

    3rd Summon: 

    I was chatting with one of my friends and since we both had around 30-40 orbs, we both decided to make a character summon. I typed him a message: Cross Fingers for Lyn 5*, before I started summoning. Honestly any type of 4*/5* red unit would have been good enough for me since I didn’t have any good ones at the time. Well how did it go?

    I picked one Gray Stone, got 4* Setsuna and left the session. Then it was time to pray the great RNG goddess for better stone colors ->

    Oh yes, I was about to yell When I Saw Cain’s golden stars dropping. As you can see I also got Nino, which I was hoping to get earlier and she’s part of my main team now :wub: . She might get replaced by other mage (Miccy) someday, but not for a while at least. Another Virion was quite meh but the 4* Henry was a pretty cool surprise!

    Then guess who was in the last red orb?

    My RNG prayers had been answered: It was the friking 5* Lyndis. I jumped from my chair when I saw the special animation. When I send a screenshot for my friend about this, He insisted that the picture is fake and didn't believe that I actually got her after just wishing it. Getting Lyn made me bench Cain, even though I feel like i’ll train him at least Lv.20, while the training tower stamina is still halved.

    out of 3 red stones, two was 5* and one was 4*. Pretty great I’d say. Honestly the whole summon was quite a lucky pull in my opinion. Definitely worth the extra five orbs that I had to pay to resummon the stone colors!  

    After summoning 14 characters in total, I have gotten (6) 3*, (5) 4* and (3) 5*. (over 20% of my summoned units have been 5* :P: ) I have now zero% regret from not ReRolling at the start! 

     

     

    Since I haven’t used any money on the game yet and avoid using it at all, I’m saving my orbs and not going to summon anything until we get more characters, especially if we end up getting characters from other lores. *cough* Tellius *couch* Magvel *couch*

    Now that you asked, I guess it's the mixture of harpsichord and the sad feeling which together brought the theme of Pelleas from RD into my subconscious. And since Pelleas is a male character I started thinking the theme being for male character instinctively. Though, I also consider by standard the harpsicords and different types of clav to fit more for a male noble character. For female counterparts, high-pitched piano or violin.

    Gotta say I like your arrangements, they efficiently gave good FE soundtrack vibes and would definitely fit in in some GBA hacks imo. Don’t know if it’s intentional or not but each of the tunes had this specific melancholic atmosphere. 

    For example in the Royal Reunion, the choir gave the feeling of sorrow; like somebody is in pain or has died/sacrificed himself. It also feels like a tune for a male character/noble.

    The Hidden actually works well as a fog of war map soundtrack till the midway. Felt like the map would be a dark cave or something. 

    As for Besieged, I think it’s intended to be for a castle grounds based map. The trumpets make it sound like that, but the high flute notes make it feel like you’re in a dark forest at the same time. That might be just me, tho. 

    Nevertheless, I liked these and hope you keep making more :)

    I expect that Donny has either dropped from the top10 or has risen few ranks up, and that Lyn keeps her number one position in female polls. Either way, I'm Anticipating the results of the poll hoping they'd let us see more than top20 of both gender.

    Hello! We have sections here in the forums for asking advice for Lunatic mode and stuff, so feel free to ask for help if you need it. (They can be quite challenging). If you don't know which other older games to look into, give a go for Sacred Stones or other GBA games if you have a chance.

    I remember reading that Nintendo plans keeping the 3DS alive alongside the Switch, which indicates more important games for the 3DS possibly Fire Emblem, Pokemon etc. I doubt that they'd make another new version of the 3DS though. 

    also, good Friday! Too bad mine is ending in a matter of hours. :(

    It could depend on the character, but I imagine them to be fancy shmancy clothes with white or silvery fabric and gold trim and stuff, to highlight that they're special. And if Ike keeps his top spot, this'd be funny, because I can't see him ever wanting to dress like that. XD Can he wear a fancy headband too? Admittedly, this is another reason I want him to win, so I can giggle at the irony. lol

    I'm not sure Lyn would dress like that either and she's currently leading the females, though she does ask Eliwood to teach her to be a lady...lol so who knows.

    This is exactly how I imagined the special outfits would look like, and seeing Ike in that kind of outfit would be awesome and somewhat amusing too :D.
