I'm very curious about these streams, if only to hear everyone's English voices, but I've been keeping myself relatively unspoiled about events after Chapter 6 and I think I'll save that for when the game releases on the 19th.

Whoa I ended up voting for 25 pieces. There's just so much good content! I'm glad a couple of people liked my silly drawing. Again, thank you Tangerine for making this event! It motivated me to draw again, and it been pleasure to see the creations from the SF community. In the meantime, I still need to read all the written works!

Ah, someone noticed! The music tracks specific to the Hoshido route reminded me so much of Okami. I'm fairly certain Rei Kondoh is again one of the composers for this game, like in Awakening. I wanted to do a background for this piece, but got too lazy/ran out of motivation.. Thank you everyone who took a look and commented on my piece. I'm very grateful.

Urrrgh Polygonnn. Somehow, I feel I might watch a little of their crappy gameplay, if only to hear more English footage. About the contents of the SE itself, I like how the artbook includes scenery from the game as well. I have yet to see decent scans of that stuff anywhere. The reverse side of the pouch is also pretty cool.

The use of color and light are what really make this piece stand out! I really dig the colored outlines and character expressions, too.

One of my fave units in Blazing Sword. I respect people who can wield watercolors well. Good job!

Over 100 submissions?! Aaaaah I wanna see, I wanna seee!!! When can we expect the submissions to be up for display? My piece is pretty basic, and I regret choosing a medium I haven't used in literally years. It's not what I wanted it to be, but at least I did somethin'! It's becoming harder and harder for me to art as I've grown older... I entered this just for fun and participation and wasn't in it to win it, anyway. ; ]

Whoa, they actually did it. I'll be honest, I was a tad bit interested in petting everyone once just to see the silly stuff they'd say in English for the heck of it. But this is no big loss, in my opinion. Will the Live 2D assets still be used for confession lines, since there's no illustrations like in Awakening? Also, will there be some other small mechanic added instead so we can build still support in small ways in between maps?

I'll probably be working on the 19th, but as soon as I get off work I am going straight home and playing Fates for the rest of the night.

Oh wow. I have to wonder how the other 2nd gen look-alikes will have their names localized... Cordelia and Gaius... English anagrams just don't give many good options. As for the main topic, good riddance to the former M!Kamui and Soleil support. I wonder what tweaks NoA have probably made to Soleil's characterization in general, as well as other quirky characters like Eponine.

Unlike Lucina's alts that were based on specific characters, I don't really think Corrin's alt colors are based off anyone in particular. I can't even think of anyone from earlier non-Fates Fire Emblem games that the colors could be pointing to. What I'm curious to see is if the different colors will also translate to Corrin's dragon form.

I'm gonna have to say that Splatoon was my GOTY as well. That game took over my life for several months. xD

Soleil's birthday is the closest to mine. Not sure how to feel about that. I think it's cute how Flannel and Pieri have birthdays right before Halloween and Christmas respectively. It's interesting how the three 2nd-gen Hoshido expies have birthdays a day before their Awakening counterparts...

I think I'm mostly using the event as a reason to draw again. I don't really have any intention on winning. But thank you for the warm welcome~ Hello and welcome to you, too! Thanks! (Also the impending NA release of Fates) I finally have an idea of the kind of style I want to draw in... but I still gotta brainstorm/sketch some composition ideas. Getting there, at least. I guess I'll find out once I've spent some time here. It's always amusing to discover the kind of vibes parts of forums have when first joining.

Hi there! I finally decided to come out of lurking... Like some others, Awakening was what finally got me into Fire Emblem back in 2013. Besides that, I've also played Blazing Sword since then. Sacred Stones and Binding Blade are next on my list of FE games to play. Oh, and of course... I'm excited for Fire Emblem Fates. Got that Special Edition waiting for me in February~ Truth be told, what finally got me into becoming a member of this forum was the SF Scribbles event going on. I'm considering entering for fun to exercise my seldom-used art muscles. But I still haven't thought of a concept/composition yet. If I go through with this, it would be my very first legit FE fanart. Uh... anyyywaay... I'll be drifting around the forums. I'm looking forward to my experience here at SF. Thanks for reading~!
