Odd, for all the promotion they've given to Tiki I figured she was an SR, but instead she got an R. She might also get a 3rd card if the artwork from the mat comes from a card. I'm gonna be mad if the 6 SRs from Awakening are Good Chrom, Risen Chrom, Good Robin, Grima Robin and Good Lucina, Risen Lucina. As for the Jugdral side, I'm gonna be mad if Shannan with his Balmung just gets that HN and an unpromoted N. I mean come on he's probably the one who destroyed Bloom and his bullshit Mjölnir for most people, he's a highlight character that was relevant since Generation 1 and in both manga.

Cipher Series 8: April 20 - Promo Chrom in Dengeki Nintendo!

You're right, an N. My bad. Having an HN, an N, and two SRs is a possibility. My guess is that the remaining 6 are two Julius cards, two Ishtar cards and more Shade and Emma. We can't have enough Shade. Mage Fighter and Bard opened new classes for Shade. -

I'm pretty sure Robin with get on the Risen bandwagon through Grima. It's cute how even as bad guys Robin and Chrom are still best buddies. -

If he gets an HN as well then we're gonna have 4 Chrom cards. Someone in the direction is really pissed that Lucina hogs all the spotlight. -

I think Seliph, Julius and Julia might get the SR+. Or just Sleiph and Julia if they decide to give Awakening 4 SR+s like in the previous sets. Well, there goes my hopes and dreams for an SR of Master Knight Leif. -

If I understand this new Fee card correctly, if you have more than 4 bonds you can essentially put her down as a bond at the beginning of your turn, tap her to deploy something and then during the battle phase deploy her as well without any cost (given that she hasn't been flipped face down yet)? -

Oh crap, Now all we need is Risen Chrom to have the effect "all your blue cards in the retreat are Risen" and we'll be Yugioh Zombies. -

Managed to snipe my scaly, draconic mammaries in time. Would've gotten Altenna's or Seliph's too but I don't actually like Altenna too much nor the artwork used for Seliph. -

Yeah, what was I thinking. Yellow cards were just added, and it's not like they're gonna make a new color just for these Echoes cards, right .... right? -

Ohhh right, the lack of an ST+, I didn't consider that. At least I hope Tinny (Tine?) get an R this time around to make up for the lack of foiled Tailtiu last time. As for set 9, I'm guessing it's gonna be 25 cards for Manga only 10 people read, 25 cards for filthy subhumans and 50 cards for shilling the new game. They can't pass up the opportunity to capitalize on the new game's release, I also expect an starter deck for SoV. The question is if they'll be red cards or an entirely new color? -

It might be an N. I still think Eliwood's R+X was originally intended to be an N judging by the way those have the borders of N/HN cards but foiled. I hope Seliph doesn't get an R and SR like Eliwood did... -

I dunno I feel it looks a bit stiff, certainly Wada has done better in Cipher. I prefer Kita Senri's take on Seliph for the R+X. This is probably the equivalent of that X card and it might end up being either an N or an R. I wonder if Sachiko will also handle the SR or SR+. I bet the SR+s will be a panorama of Seliph and Julia versus Julius drawn by Rika Suzuki -
Luchar and Lucharba has been fixed to Iuchar and Iucharba. They were spelling mistakes after all, lol.

Also Mystery of the Emblem/FE12 characters.

But it's actually pronounced "Knee-shuh" is it not? Still it looks too close to a fancy way of saying "Nice" for me to not call him that. They sure love their Samson/Aran situations, do they not? Fates was also supposed to be entirely based around choosing one and killing the other but in a larger scale.

Sorry everyone, I just had to do this Forced fratricide wasn't that funny. Or maybe it was... I don't recall

I'm mexican and Hermina sounds specially odd in Spanish and it specially makes Luchar and Lucharba sound so odd. I just imagine both brothers as masked luchadores for cheap downtown fights. And again, my point is that they sound strange.

They must have read the names in English first before making Katakana. Moreover most names reflect the original pronunciation of the names rather than the English, for instance "Sukasaha" from Scathach, so they must at least know that much. I wouldn't take it out as a possibility that the names were deliberate. It's hard to know these days whether IntSys is incompetent at times or just being silly, eh?
-
Erinys is fine, I have no problem with that one. When I said odd I was mostly talking about names like Diarmuid, Hermina, Luchar, Lucharba, my and new favorite "Naoise",

Indeed. That trend I mentioned probably comes from japan. Names like Tailto instead of Tailtiu were intentional in it's origin, for instance.
-
I know they're accurate, but Celtic names are still odd in english. Well, who knows. It was NoA the ones that reverted Navarre from Nabarl back in Shadow Dragon... as well as keeping Hyman. Gotta give them character some way. I'm the kind of person who gave Karin the skill Wrath in Thracia.

I don't think some of these names are mispelled as much as they were slightly changed intentionally, like with Mars -> Marth. Fire Emblem tends to do that sometimes. They really went full Gaelic on FE4.
