  1. Ok, later than I thought, but here's my gen 1 info dump! My run isn't totally optimized, and I was lazy and lost some turns where I didn't need to, but I still have loads of time to burn so I'm not worried.
  2. Sigurd definately has over 100% HP, he's proc'd it twice for me many times before. It's probably still something related to the arena bug though.
  3. I agree on having the light sword on Celice too, there's quite a few enemies with 1-2 range, and Celice ORKO's a lot of them with just the magic ring and 2 magic or something, haha. I think i'll get my gen 1 done tonight and post it when I finish up.
  4. i find fe12's earlygame a cakewake comparitively, you can just straight up lose in FE13 Lunatic+ based on enemy skills. A few years from now this could very well change, even about 5 years ago people were still thinking FE4 and HHM were pretty hard games, whereas today, they're considered pretty easy.
  5. I think he put in on Fee just to have early access to it, anyone in chapter 6 is fine really, since Slim Swords are easy to pass around anyway.
  6. FE13 lunatic+ is definately the hardest hands down, no other mode even stands a chance. Its the only mode where you can pretty much lose right out of the gate in some early chapters and there's nothing you can do about it. Hardest game in general i'd say is actually FE12, even H1 isn't a total walkover, like other hard modes in the series. The older games aren't hard if you know them well, but the same can really be said about the new games, I thought Awakening was kind of tough in my first hard mode run, but I think that was largely due to me trying to use about 16-18 units and my dudes got pretty underlevelled, whereas if I played it now I'd find it ridiculously easy with a team of 6-10 units (or just Robin+1 lol)
  7. i only did it for completions sake if i bypassed gaidens the game could be done in 179-however many turns the gaidens took, probably, although you miss the berserk staff, a speedwing, early merlinus, Canas, and actually it might add a few turns here and there with less exp and not having Canas. Nils had to dance Heath on both turns, dunno where you got him dancing athos from.
  8. I thought I said I was going to, otherwise I wouldn't have tried as hard in Chapter 23 to fulfill the requirements for Genesis. I can't find anywhere in the topic where I said so though :/
  9. I don't think having Farina around would actually help any chapter honestly. Heath is definately better since he can rescue Hector (Farina can't) and has much better caps.
  10. nino does have the highest range in the game honestly I don't know who else would actually be useful with the exp, its probably better just spread among everyone else on the team.
  11. I think he could use the exp that sain used to catch up, and then take Pent's exp later, which was mostly promoted units. Heath probably got a bit too much too.
  12. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jKBRa285B8&feature=youtu.be PENULTIMATE POST WHERE I TALK ABOUT UNITS Hector - He's pretty solid early on, and it's nice having a lord that doesn't die after he's dropped near a gate or something. 5 move hurts though. Eliwood - There's a ton of early exp to go around, and it's largely wasted on Marcus, so why not give it to someone who gets a horse later and is forced? Seriously he probably saved a turn in endgame, and it was nice having another high res mount in Cog. Marcus - Obviously super awesome early, and still made it to endgame. Didn't actually do a whole lot after Heath took off though. Lowen - owned early then promoted kind of early and got very little exp for the rest of the game and faded into obscurity. Kent - I think he's definately better as the earlypromoted paladin in Lyn mode. His hitrates in the midgames are a lot better than Sain. He hilariously didn't hit S Lances until 28x though, lol. Sain - other than chapter 17, I don't think he actually did anything other than soak up exp. Florina - didn't do as much as I thought she would, but she made a 1 turn of chapter 21 and the 2 turn of Genesis a reality. Priscilla - thought she was just going to exist and take up exp all the way till endgame, but she saved a turn in 32! Canas - A fantastic unit. Luna owns in Cog, has a highish base level so getting him to be an awesome warper isn't too hard. Fiora - broke the game but really I think her only actual contributions came in 19x, the desert, chapter 25, and Cog. Legault - had a barrier staff and guiding ring that were actually pretty nescessary. Rath - Did some cool things like killing Lloyd in one turn, and his unique class movement really helped in Chapter 25 and Chapter 27. Didn't have the stats to keep up though. Isadora - Made the 2 turn of Chapter 25 possible Heath - pretty sure everyone knows how much work he did, absolutley needs to be a god unit in these runs. Pent - I actually think he's replaceable by Erk. Vaida - killed the dudes that spawned near her and had enough strength to OHKO Ursula in Final. That's about it. I don't think Erk can replace Canas combatwise since Luna was ridiculously powerful in Cog, and if Erk got dropped where Canas did, he'd be dealing out very little damage regardless of stats. He can definately still be a lategame warper instead of Pent if you want though, but really, is it worth the effort? Canas had the most kills, outkilling units like Marcus, Kent and Heath, I definately don't think Erk could replicate that.
  13. unfourtunately I only have a save as far back as chapter 32, so I don't think that's an option unless someone really wants to play from Chapter 20 again lol. Also for the people who did the poll, the correct answers were Canas for most victories, (surprised me too) and Hector for most battles.
  14. ive still been thinking about that, and fiora got +2 like refa said again in the arena? The only time I actually hacked the rom was turning off the fog of war in Living Legend when trying to figure things out there, so unless that fucks things up, I dunno what to say. and if i were giving +2's to units I don't know why i'd make it so painfully obvious. Feel free to check elsewhere, its not like the odd growths there affected the outcome, Fiora never entered battle after then anyway. I'm thinking it has to be some sort of emulation issue or something. if you give me the save dondon i'll take a look either today or monday,
  15. aaaaand im done https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27AZF4j_VnA&feature=youtu.be Nergal's part in 2 turns, dragon in 1. I'll upload an epilogue video tomorrow, too tired to do it tonight. Units that are absolutely required for this run: Hector, Ninils, Eliwood, Athos, Priscilla, Canas, Heath, Pent/Erk, Marcus, Vaida, Kent/Sain (promoted in Lyn mode), Kent/Sain (not promoted in Lyn Mode), Fiora, Florina, Legault, Rath, Lowen, Isadora, Hawkeye, Oswin, Matthew. Any other units I guess can be used, but I don't think this run would be replicateable without any of the above. When I upload the epilogue video tomorrow i'll post more thoughts on individual units. I dunno if i'll do another LTC in the future, this one was pretty time consuming and i'm having less and less of it as time goes on. Someday i'll finish my ideal FE8 clear perhaps. I'm not too interested in games outside FE7/8/11 as far as LTC goes though, so we'll see how things go. Espinosa was sitting on 163 turns after Chapter 30, and I think he'd get theoretical counts of 12, 6, 3, 1, and 3 for the rest of the game (since his team wouldn't be able to 2 turn VoD) so this run was 9 turns faster - a slight improvement at the very least. I'd like to thank everyone who followed this and commented and helped out, especially: - Espinosa, I used his run as reference on many accounts, definately helped a lot. I know he hasn't been around for a few months, but I thought i'd do it anyway - lapogne36 of youtube for the Chapter 20 strategy - dondon for the chapter 32 strategy - somebody else that I probably forgot about that should say something if I forgot them - oh yeah, and myself, for finishing a playthrough topic in 3 months NEW RECORD
  16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsQNzUYRSSs&feature=youtu.be chapter 32 redone using dondon's strat I also reuploaded 32x for continuations' sake, won't bother linking, its the exact same.
  17. Yeah, I think you're right actually, I think i'll redo it, I didn't really think too much about it. Canas has 28 magic beforehand, so its possible. I'll redo it tomorrow or later tonight.
  18. and 32x https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oH8FDKHvq54&feature=youtu.be yeahh don't expect final tonight, i'm pretty tired.
  19. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qjVeqsQnaM&feature=youtu.be chapter 32 in 3 turns not a whole lot to say here, coulda got renault but lazy oh also that's my facebook beeping in the background, sorry about that.
  20. uhhh I didn't even give her the drops either, I gave them to pent because his magic growth sucks I honestly don't know how to explain it, I didn't even notice it when I was playing at least it was on a unit that doesn't really do anything for the rest of the game anyway, and it was skill. Technically, she could still have 24 skill at level 5 promoted, so it isn't an illegal value, but it still kind of bugs me that it happened.
  21. Yes, she's sitting at 24 at level 5 after chapter 32 here, and she missed skill in her level in Cog of destiny, so it definately did happen, since she had 20 skill going into the chapter at level 2.
  22. Elieson just pointed that out to me and quite frankly i have no idea
  23. 31x https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzmKpa1f1A4&feature=youtu.be dont watch it, not worth it.
