One thing you listed incorrectly in your origninal post was that magic swords have 12 MT at range, they actually have 14, they essentially just cast Elfire/Elwind/Elthunder/Lightning and they all have 14MT. Alec can't really assume to have proc'd two magic points on promotion though, even going off averages he's not even that likely to have 1 by that point, so the numbers kinda work out either way. Alec with +2 magic however does ORKO all the armours in chapter 3 with the light sword, which is something basically only hero weapons can do, since your mages won't be able to keep up, and the armourslayer isn't a great weapon. You want Alec (or Noish) to use the light sword over Ethlin or Fury for a few reasons though. You want Ethlin with your main squad to actually heal them/return staff them, and she needs to buy the pursuit ring to replicate the performance here as well, I know a lot of people pass it down to Leaf anyway so it's not a huge deal but it's not something I prefer. Fury is flat out not good at killing the cross knights with the light sword though. She doesn't get the avoid boost from the forest and is 2HKO'd by the Javelins at base. She also only has 1 base magic and has 0 chance of promoting for her magic boost in chapter 3. Lachesis is unlikely to promote in most playthroughs by this point but if she is there's no reason for her not to do it. Even unpromoted she's not a bad choice, but her durability is shaky until promotion. Dew is a nice meme play but isn't efficient in the slightest, your team will catch up before he kills too many of them, and having Dew keep his money neuters a few other units money early on which isn't too good either. Levin himself can do it, but the main reason a light sword unit kills the cross knights is to build kills on the light sword, with 50+ kills on it it's one of if not the best weapon for Celice in gen 2. Levin also needs the pursuit ring, and I'd argue that Noish is a better choice for that and if Ethlin takes it with her in chapter 3 he can't use it for the rest of the generation, which hurts his offence very badly. Levin's' bosskilling is almost a total non-factor. Sigurd with the power ring + Hero Sword ORKO's every single boss in the generation after Levin joins (except Langbalt) without any crit on the weapon, and you have other units like Lachesis that can keep up with him and help chip in if he gets screwed over by great shield. Levin has Holsety for a grand total of 4 (!) bosses, one of which is Vaha and is an absolute pushover, one of which he's not reaching because he's busy actually getting Holsety in chapter 4. Levin is very good against Langbalt, but as long as someone like Elwind!Azel or even Thoron Lachesis chip him beforehand, Sigurd can bring him down pretty easily with the armourslayer. The only boss i'd argue Levin is useful against is Reptor since he can either neutralize him by sleeping or silence him or get warped to the desert castle and fight him over the wall with Holsety, but if Sigurd's Hero Sword has crit by this point, you don't really need him to do that either. Alec at the very least has the entire generation to contribute, and while he isn't fantastic all the time, he's always around and can contribute and be reletively useful in the prologue, chapter 1, and chapter 3 (he's not very good in chapter 2, 4 or 5). Levin just can't keep up with your team, and his super overkill offence just simply isn't needed in gen 1. I'm personally more partial to investing in Noish as he can contribute much better after chapter 3 than Alec since his skills and statspread are more useful going forward (provided he gets the pursuit ring), but Alec is no slouch either.
  3. hey, i remembered this CHAPTER 21 - 4/129 TURNS Forged a +4 handaxe for Ogma. He orkoed everything except the thowmps who targetted Dolph's worse defence stat, and he hammered them. Jake shot down a draco so Dracoboah could shop at the secret shop, holy shit statboosters are cheap in this game. CHAPTER 22 - 9/138 TURNS Ogma ran ahead with the forged handaxe. Not much really happened, Jake picked off some fliers from the spawn. Bought another arrowspate so jake would have something to shoot next map without running out out of ammo (on not stonehoist) CHAPTER 23 - 9/147 TURNS Bootsless Marth can only reach the throne in 9 turns, so Carmine got 9 here as well. Ogma used my last pure water a few turns in, Jake shot stuff with Pachyderm to reduce its forge cost later (lol). Wrys will eventually hit A staves in time for it to not matter. I forgot to mention, Jake ate 3 energy rings and a secret book, and speedwings went to Jeiganx2 so he could double some stuff, and I forget the others, woops. I think Marth took one and Ogma took one. CHAPTER 24 - 6/153 TURNS We did it boys. Wrys hit A staves and Jeigan hit A Bows. ah fuck didnt read the rules and went to 24x. CHAPTER 24X - 7/160 TURNS this counting for turns is pretty dumb, not everyone can kill gharnef and tiki costs a fuckload of turns anyway the enemies are super weak here so it's really easy. Ogma and Jake level capped lol. ENDGAME - 1/161 TURNS Forged Pachyderm, oneshotted Medeus. UNITS 117 B 44 W He's actually +/- 1 in every stat, lol. Got a Robe and Speedwings. Rapier megaforge carried earlygame where he had to get attacked, then he never really did anything but survive the occasional paladin or dracoknight. 129B 54W Gave him a bunch of speedwings so he could double. Was actually relatively useful throughout, lategame it was nice to have all my units (except wrys) be able to pick off a dracoknight so Marth didn't die. Him having one less defence than Marth helped Marth survive some tricky spots too since he would eat a hit instead. 20B 3W Not gonna lie, picked him thinking he wasnt free earlygame. Healing was useful and allowed Jeigan to be a combat unit instead of a bishop. 199B 151W Ogma carried really hard. No surprise here though. Probably the best dude to have here other than maybe Barst, but his speed earlygame is really nice. 85B 43W <Insert Jake with 20 strength here> He was perfectly average. Ballistas are ridiculously fun. I wish they would come back, but they're also pretty OP situationally so yeah. Let me basically oneshot troublesome mages or fliers whenever he was in range. 110B 65W Dolph overperformed super hard for a last round pick. Probably shouldn't have lasted that long though, his bases aren't terrible and he has some of the best growths in the game. Let me have another frontliner to take some pressure off Ogma.

  5. Can't he inherit Shagaal's Silver Blade in the same chapter? Delmud has A swords at base.
  6. Yeah, all the "siblings" and "lovers" should work. There's a bug where Fee instantly falls in love with Johalva in gen 2 so you could possible abuse that too!
  7. CHAPTER 5 - 4/30 TURNS Forged the killing edge with +3 MT so Ogma could kill the boss. Made Wrys a mage so he wouldn't fall behind and have to face attacks from the cavaliers at the start. CHAPTER 6 - 7/37 TURNS Ogma is really buff Wrys went back to curate to heal my dudes. Marth's rapier was clutch. CHAPTER 7 - 6/43 TURNS Forged the armourslayer to +3, all I could afford. Probably a waste of money. Ogma and Marth ran down, Wrys tanked a hit from a dragoknight since Sniper!Jeigan can't OHKO them. Ogma killed the boss with the armourslayer. Marth got the Angelic Robe from the last map. I missed physic last map though, which sucks, but i'll get the chapter 10 one when Wrys actually has the weapon rank for it. CHAPTER 8 - 5/48 TURNS carmine CHEATED by recruiting Roger. Bought a bunch of vulneraries with Jeigan. Ogma and Marth ran to the throne. Wrys healed Marth and then distracted a thwomp. CHAPTER 9 - 5/53 TURNS I was like THE DRAGON IS GONNA BE HARD TO KILL but Ogma just ORKO'd him with a silver sword. Got the buillon with Jeigan and Wrys. Jeigan reclassed to Swordmaster to kill the boss with the armourslayer forge. Wrys swapped to mage to get the physic staff. CHAPTER 11 - 9/70 TURNS Reclassed Caeda to MYRM Made Wrys tank Jake because he targets him over Caeda since his defence is lower than her's as a myrm. Promoted Ogma and worked on his axe rank. Reclassed Jeigan to Swordmaster and gave him the speedwings so he could double the mercs down by Anna's house so I could actually recruit Jake. CHAPTER 12 - 6/76 TURNS Boots are so NOT WORTH IT Got all the treasure except the one behind the general, hopefully it wasn't good. Jake killed thieves and curates. CHAPTER 13 - 4/80 TURNS SO AWFUL Marth had to dodge a bunch of stonehoists and stuff which was obnoxious. Dolph went up and killed a couple ballista up top, Jeigan got the hoistflamme, and Ogma, Jake and Marth ran up the middle. CHAPTER 14 - 7/87 TURNS Jeigan and Pirate!Dolph raided the treasure room, Jeigan got the silver card on the last turn, and Jake got the Buillon and silver sword on the last turn from the thief raiding the chest with his forged Hoistflamme. Wrys phsyic'd people. Ogma escorted Marth to the throne. CHAPTER 15 - 7/94 TURNS Wrys went north with the Silver Card and just physic'd people, and bought handaxes because I only had Barst's from the start of the game. Ogma distracted Gharnef, and Jeigan killed the boss???? CHAPTER 16 - 8/102 TURNS Jake shot down a draco turn 1, Dolph got fed the other two. Dolph baited enemies with waterwalkign to make Marth's path to the throne easier once Ogma cleared his way. CHAPTER 17 - 3/105 TURNS Jake shot the mages in the treasure room for exp. Dolph got fortify and the vip card. Ogma killed the boss. CHAPTER 18 - 7/112 TURNS Promoted Dolph, and reclassed him to Hero for better stats. Ogma and Dolph ran ahead of Marth and cleared the way, Jake took potshots when he could. Jeigan killed Est on turn 7 for Mercurius. Let's update stats I guess. My dudes kind of tag teamed Camus and Wrys kept the squad alive with recover.
  8. I picked a good day to actually log into sf. If I interpreted my doc correctly.... Knight Ring now comes on Fury's replacement (Ardan). Ardan's event tile now gives the elite ring, and the knight ring event is the pursuit ring. Wind Sword is still the same. I'm pretty confidant that Deirdre opens the bridge and the Sylvia village item are the same. Ardan doesn't get a skill ring in chapter 5, he just gains +5 skill, but that is unchanged. Not actually sure about Gungnir, never tested it. Theoretically Leaf should be able to inherit it and use it on promotion but inheritance is really weird in FE4 hacking. Nope, Leaf is the only kid capable of getting Major Noba/Dain blood. Balmung no longer is in the game, it's replaced by Swanchika. Ayra/Holyn will have * Swords but since Balmung isn't in gen 2 you won't be able to use it with the bug. Also to note unless you downloaded the patch sometime last year the patch in the topic is outdated and needs a few bugfixes that I haven't reapplied (or remember...) Most of them (or all of them) aren't until Gen2 though so if you get there and something is broken let me know.

  10. CHAPTER 1 - 7/7 TURNS enter wrysssss Picked Abel as my free guy. He died. So did Cain. CHAPTER 2 - 6/13 TURNS Recruited Castor for cannon fodder. Doga sat on the fort and distracted the dudes back at the start. Somehow only Bord died. CHAPTER 3 - 6/19 TURNS Had kind of bad starting spots, but wrys started way to the left which helped him keep up and keep everyone healed. Barst, Gordin and Doga all died. Got the killing edge before seizing. Ogma fought the boss. CHAPTER 4 - 7/26 TURNS Forged a huge rapier called MARTHIPAN. Marth himself is really bad but his forge lets him OHKO stuff. Ogma is buff, Jeigan went Sniper for this map so he could double the archers and counter them.
  11. BERKUT - 3/3 TURNS Clair flew up and killed Berkut and Fernand on turn 2 EP, falcoknight bulk helps a ton. Alm got warped up on turn 1, allowing him to killer bow one of the javcavs up top, clair killed the other. Tobin took out most of the arcanists with some help from Luthier, Gray solo'd the left side with a max forge rapier. Clive drew aggro from thwomps since his has less defence than Clair, then Silcc helped him kill the one that chased him. I just noticed Grey's stats are really good, lol. XAIZOR - 3/6 TURNS Probably could have 2 turned if Tobin didn't get doubled by witches, what a LOSER SONYA'S SISTER - 3/9 TURNS Tobin ate peg cheese and got his first speed proc. Amazing. He went to the right with Clair and Clive and dealt with enemies there. Alm Grey and Luthier went up initally, Grey ORKO'd barons with the rapier which was a huge help. Alm killer bow'd the boss, and Luther eventually got warped back down to help kill the last thwomp down south. NUIBABA'S MOUNTAIN - 3/12 TURNS Warped Tobin ahead to kill the bow knight, then warped Gray up to kill the dreadfighters and Nuibaba on the EP. Warped Alm up on turn 3 to help clear out the arcanists and cantor. ZEKE - 2/14 TURNS Recruited Zeke because I felt like it. And I think i'll legitimately need the help. Fear Shrine - Looped Gray to bowknight. Zeke got the speed fountains and most of the exp. Waterfall - 3/17 TURNS Zeke took out most of the bottom half of the map. Gray took out the top with some help from Tobin and Luthier. Secret Shrine - Buffed up Zeke's defence for Rudolph's map. Bow Knight Fort - 3/20 TURNS Gray handled the left side, Luthier + Alm got the right, Tobin + Zeke + Clair killed the middle enemies. Rudolph - 1/21 TURNS Zeke killed Rudolph. Duma Temple Did some stuff Duma - 2/23 TURNS Gray baited Duma and then with the help of Leon. Palla was absolutely fantastic.
  12. DEAD MANS MIRE - 4/4 TURNS Gave Palla an extra apple i had, along with both exp wells. She doubles dread fighters! MIRE BONEYARD - 1/5 TURNS Shoved Leon into the swamp. He and Palla killed the dracozombies. DOLTH - 4/9 TURNS I think in every other draft i've had a dracozombie skirmish on this map as well, I thought it was just part of the map lol. Regardless, it didn't make a difference. For some bizzare reason the snipers attacked half health Leon over 3/4ths health Palla (?) so that made things a lot easier. Palla killed the boss. FOREST - boring af. Got Celica some exp because noone else really gained any. Deen got to Roundhouse, but he was gonna make it soon anyway, and Kamui already had it. Got Shove on Kamui I guess. Gave the def boosts to Palla. Soma to Palla so she could orko thwomps. DUMA GATE - 4/13 TURNS Mage Ring! Celica took out the witches that didn't die on turn 1 to Deen/Leon, Palla baited the middle dread fighters on turn 1. Kamui went up to kill the top ones, Leon hunter's volley'd the boss on turn 2, which allowed Palla to kill the thwomp. Deen helped finish off a dread fighter and a random witch that teleported inside. Palla exploited the AI and made the thunder sword guy suicide on her on turn 4 after hitting him on turn 3, Leon killed one of the southern arcanists on turn 3, and the cantor on turn 4, allowing the Death guy to suicide on him on turn 4 EP. Palla killed the last thwomp down south on turn 4 PP. JEDAH - 3/16 TURNS Didn't have enough units to kill everything on time. Deen Roundhouse'd Jedah. DUMA TOWER - Sent killer bow, Brave sword and mage ring to Alm. I also uh, sold the silver bow so leon had no weapon. Everyone knows shove now though!
