I've been avoiding any spoilers for fate since I've heard it was announced, so I haven't been looking into how each game plays. What's wrong with revelations though? Don't all three games have the same gameplay? Revelations doesn't have some weird mechanic or anything like that does it?

I agree. It's probably my favorite FE game. Well, for now anyways; I wanna play Tharcia and Genealogy still :P

I feel ya. I don't like the idea of something I love being used as a tool to give a middle finger to an ideology either. Me personally I was one of the ones who hopped on that band wagon the first few days just because I didn't want to see the feature removed. I figured even if not everyone was in it for the feature, it would still help it not be removed, so it was a means to an end. I see what you're saying though, looking back there wasn't really any SJW push. I wonder how many were like me and just got caught up in it. I also wonder how many were legitimately pushing for the ideology. I don't like the idea of being used.

I actually wanted to use it (if nothing else, it would have been fun to see what happens in it) but I can definitely understand why people took the ideological stance on this. Most of them probably felt the removal was a part of the feminist/SJW ideology getting their way. To fight something mindless I feel like you need something like an ideology that people can get behind. So I'm not mad at them, the salt was real, lol.

I can live with this. Tbh I would've preferred the full thing (since it wouldn't be a short line and I can mess around in it) but whatever. It looks like we still get nice reactions.

I liked Roy because he was more underpowered actually. He felt more like what a lord should be. Able to hold his own, but you have to use him wisely. He needed protection, but that was part of the fun, at least for me. Anyways, my 2 cents.

I hope another chance comes. If not, I took the day fates comes out off. I'll line up the day before if I have to.

I had the same impression when I saw it, but I've been holding out for a FE N3DS. I feel like the design could be better, but I also feel like the simplicity has a charm to. I think it will grow on me, if only i could have gotten my hands on the special edition of the game :(

Man, don't worry about it. A bit of salt won't ever bother me. I know everyone on this forum is just as passionate, if not more so, about fire emblem as I am. It's something that makes me feel at home, I can appreciate people getting heated. I get that way to, two days ago I was super salty, now I've calmed down though :P. Regardless it's nice to be in the forest. I've visited this site plenty of times before (for tier listings, cool FE games made by players, etc.). I don't know why it took me so long to join. I should've joined sooner XD. Also good morning all.
