As indicated by the topic title, I have yet to ever see paired enemy units move, similarly to bosses. Even more interestingly, once I kill the lead unit and their partner is left on the title alone, that unit won't move either. Is this just a weird AI thing, or a gameplay balance/difficulty thing? Do they move in later chapters, or perhaps on Lunatic? I'm on Hard Mode, Chapter 8, for what that's worth.

By "how much does it cost," are you talking about the actual cost of a path? That's 19.99. If you're talking about how much space it takes, downloading Conquest through my copy of Birthright took 800~900 blocks. It's really small. Smol, even.

I made a deliberate decision not to read up too much on anything related to Fates during the lengthy period between its JP release and the stateside one. Knowing too much about Awakening before it came out -- both in the sense of having been spoiled, and of knowing all the little characterization and tone things that had shifted between the original script and the localization -- only had a negative impact on my enjoyment of that game. Decided I didn't want to deal with it this time around. Anyway: So far, I'm really enjoying what I've played/read in-game!

Unlocked my preloaded copy of Birthright at 12:01, downloaded the Conquest DLC immediately afterward, and am just now reaching Chapter 5. I have work in a little more than four hours, and the closest thing I got to sleep was a ~2.5 hour nap this afternoon. I make awesome life choices.

If I had to guess, either the code will land in your email sometime today, or they'll supply you with the code on the receipt when you pick up your main, physical game in-store. If you can, try not to worry about not having the digital code yet, as it's meaningless without a main game -- the "DLC" version of Birthright you're paying 19.99 for can only be redeemed through your "main" copy of Conquest.

Just work, like usual. I've been lucky enough to have a steady Monday-through-Friday work schedule of late, and so while I'll probably be pretty exhausted after work on Friday, I'll be able to throw myself into Fates (still not sure which of Birthright/Conquest I'll be preloading) right after getting home and not have any distractions stopping me from plowing through the campaign over the weekend. (Screw healthy life choices!) Outside of work, I really don't have any interest in replaying Awakening or breaking out any of the older games this week. I'm in more of a Persona mindset right now, since Persona 4 Arena Ultimax went free for PS Plus subscribers this month.

Snagging all three on the eShop; will probably set up a preload copy as soon as my tax refund arrives. Not sure which out of Birthright/Conquest I'll be picking up as my "base" game. I guess it depends on which campaign I want to play first, but I don't really have a preference.
