FE11 was great to train everyone even without deployment in battle. The one in FE3 was the worst one thought, it was too dangerous.

FE4: -No item trading -Each character having their own money (making very hard for some characters to get money) -A lot of missable stuff or stuff very easy to screw up. And I think that´s it, I know fixing these would make the game so broken but still...

I just finished book 1 of FE3, and, aside for the first few chapters, the camus chapter and the final chapter, I found it to be somewhat easy. Is book 2 a lot harder or is it about the same difficulty as book 1?, I´ll start book 2 soon but I´m just curious. As a side note, I've always wondered why this game is so popular and loved in Japan, it can get very slow and tedious at some parts. Is it just nostalgia?

I was into the nintendo wars series, and while talking about gaming with a friend I lent him my copy of Advance Wars: Days of ruin, about a week later my friend told me "yeah this game is good but this one is even better" and he handed me his copy of Path of Radiance. He was totally right I loved that game, then I got the rest of the games (and emulated the japanese only ones), and now Fire Emblem is one of my favorite franchises, with FE4 being my favorite.
