  1. I voted for some of my favorites and I tried to represent every game. I wonder how they will count characters like Jill, Finn and Catria. I wish I could have voted for some others favorites like Katarina, Lyn, Caeda, Roy, Sigurd, etc... and for some memes like Oliver and Dorcas.
  2. Firstly I would remove Valla and Anankos. Arete and Mikoto aren't related and they are respectively a Nohr and a Hoshidan Noble no pun intended! Corrin is Sumeragi's child and Hoshidan. Azura is Garon's daughter and is Nohrian. Mikoto is Corrin and the youngest siblings' mother. I would remove one or two siblings in each side or merge them since some of them are barely developed. Or they could still exist but they aren't royals just some nobles or generals. If we can find a way to make them all revelant, we can keep 4 siblings at each side but it will be hard. Every one has a legendary weapon even Azura. Lilith is not related to Corrin and is this game's Tiki, Fae and Myrrh and has a similar role. Once you feed her enough, she regains her powers and is playable. Sometimes it's possible for a royal family member to transform into a dragon because they are the First Dragons' descendants but it doesn't happen to all the royal family members. It's why Corrin is the only one who can transform. Garon can transform as well for this reason. No third route or it would be about an alliance between Corrin, Azura and the neutral counties like eggclipse said or something. Arete, Ikona and Katerina are still alive. Mikoto still dies but would be more developed. Arete is Garon's current wife and is still only Azura's mother. The other sibling/s' mom (depending on how many siblings there are) is still a concubine. Arete is the one who manipulates Garon. She wants the throne all for herself and for her daughter. She plans to overthrow him with the help of corrupt Nohrian nobles. Garon wants to invade Hoshido for its ressources. Ikona is Sumeragi's ex-wife and Corrin's older sibling/s' mother (depending on how many siblings there as well). She is still pissed that Sumeragi decided to marry and get one/other child/children with someone else especially that one of them (Corrin) got dragon blood instead of her own child/children. Since Ryoma wants to be crowned King after the war, Ikona is temporary the Queen. She represents the "darker" side of Hoshido and doesn't hesitate to do terrible things to Nohrians and other non-Hoshidan people for the good of her country with the help of corrupt Hoshidan nobles. She thinks Corrin is a threat to the Hoshidan throne and Ryoma. Both Arete and Ikona are interested in the First Dragons and tried to find a way to get more powers from them for their interests. Maybe make Iago and Yukimura their respective retainer as well. Katerina is Garon's ex-wife and is still only Xander's mother. She thinks Garon is doing the worst for Nohr and wants Xander to be on the throne now so she starts a rebellion with some nobles, Xander, Corrin, Azura and the other child/children's help. She obviously doesn't like Xander's other siblings at the start but she would start to like them later on. She represents the "light" side of Nohr.
  3. I would say Brady as well. He gets some good things from him such as speed mods, good skills like Vantage, Deliverer, Swordsfaire (it could be useful if you plan to make him a Dread Fighter) for example.
  4. I wasn't expecting Grass/Ghost at all. I don't mind it since I love Trevenant and Gourgeist. I prefer Incenerator better now because of the pose and animations but it is still a bit meh to me. It can attack the opposing trainer? Huh is this a shadow pokemon? New shadow pokemon game confirmed? Please? Except if Primarina's exclusive move is supposed to be something like Wake up slap and it can learn Scald or is supposed to annoy the Guts users I don't see the point of it. I like its animations as well same with the other starters. I am still not sure if I am going to pick the grass or water starter but I think it would be Decidueye. The other Tapus look better to me now that we have the artwork. The Z move look cool though I think the Negative Man/Yellow Devil should change its color depending of the Tapu. The protags smashing were funny. Cosmog looks cute. I might use it if it's possible even if it is confirmed that it evolves into the legendary. I am still not sure what to think about Alolan Persian. At least the game seems to have an interesting post game with that new BF/PWT! Nice to see older Red, older Blue/Green, older Wally and Cynthia! Poor Leaf... I hoped that Blue/Green or an Alolan version of him would appear since we saw Samson Oak. Now all we need is Prof. Oak. I hope that means we could fight other champions, gym leaders, rivals and Elite 4 as well though I doubt for the Elite 4. I kinda wish we could have seen more stuffs about the story.
  5. The video was interesting, I also must admit a bit funny sometimes and I respect their opinions but I must admit they are some things I disagree with. It's quite hard to judge the video for me since some parts are heavily based on personal matters and on their opinions but here is what I think : 1. The characters: Like them, I would say that Awakening has the better characters overall. I would like to add that the best characters of Fates are better than the best characters of Awakening and that the worst characters of Fates are worst than the worst characters of Awakening. However I disagree when Shaggy is saying that Peri and Camilla are deep characters especially compared to what they call "cardboard characters", like a character who has "ninja" as the "main trait" (I assume that he was talking about Saizo), Beruka, Niles and Shura. 2. The gameplay: Like they said, Fates has a better gameplay than Awakening. It has a better pair up mechanic, a better unit balance (especially for the children) and better maps overall for example. Though I found Awakening better than Revelations because it got a better unit balance and maps. 3. Graphics and Art style: I would say that Fates got better designs overall especially for the generics and for some classes like the Cavalier class. However I am not a fan of some of the fanservice designs especially when it doesn't make sense for the more "armored" classes (General Effie's ass, Camilla's Revenant Knight armor, etc...). I also prefer Awakening's Dark mage and Sorceror design over the Fates ones. 4. Music / Soundtracks: I think Awakening has a more memorable and better soundtrack overall. But Fates' soundtrack is very good as well especially the preparations themes, Alight, A Dark Fall (and their storm/fire variations), Past Below, Far away, Obsidian Ruler, the endgame music, etc... 5. Boss battles: I feel like part 5, part 6 and part 7 should have been with the gameplay part but whatever. I disagree when Shaggy said that this generic boss Ignatius is a very memorable boss in Awakening and compared to some Fates' bosses. Sure some of the fates bosses are Vallites and Faceless but we also got Risens and even reused bosses portraits in Awakening. I am not sure why he doesn't want to include the siblings as bosses becase they are playables since Gangrel, Walhart, Yen'fay and Aversa are playable as well. Most of the Fates' capturable and paralogues bosses had more "personalities" in their introductions than some of the reused generic ones in the paralogues from Awakening. It's maybe not saying much but I think some Conquest bosses were much harder than the ones of the other 2 routes and from Awakening as well. 6. Difficulty: I disagree with CRASHX500/BLAZINGKNIGHT when he said that Awakening was one of the toughest FE games if you don't grind/reclass/raise support bonuses. I think Birthright and Conquest did a better job at the difficulty balancingas you continue playing the game even though Birthright was easier. I don't really understand what they were talking about Phoenix mode so I will not say anything about this. I also disagree about Revelations being ok because of getting most of the units and that it offers a good experience, whatever you grind or not. Like I said earlier, it got flaws on the unit balance, there are also the annoying and tedious maps like chapter 10, chapter 24 and chapter 25 for example and the limited unit deployment for some chapters despite having most characters. 7. Replay value: Quite hard for me to choose between the two I must admit but I don't see how Birthright and Conquest not getting all the characters and the eternal seals not being cheap make it less replayable. 8. Story: Awakening wins. I will not say that the story is very good but it's better to me than Fates'. I disagree once again especially when they say that Conquest has the best story and of the reasons being it's "different". Just becase a story is different from the others doesn't make it good or better. Revelations has issues on his own like they said mostly during the second half of the game in Valla though Azura knowing everything compared to the other routes, Izuma's pointless death, Garon's evil monologue, the villains, Ryoma's retainers being ok about defeating Ryoma, etc... aren't good things either. I feel like Birthright seems underrated compared to the other routes' stories in that video. It might be basic and predictable but it's the only route which explains the worldbuilding better especially with chapter 22. Chapter 22 explains Nohr better than the other routes with the underground city, Garon's past and one of his wives Arete, Shura with the Kohga/Mokushu conflict Elise's activities when she's not in the castle with her nanny and the lack of Nohr's ressources (and which is a better excuse for invading countries compared to the other routes) for example. Also even if Hinoka and Sakura don't get many story moments compared to their brothers, the same can also be applied to both Camilla and Elise in Conquest and Revelations since they aren't memorable in these routes at all as well, especially compared to Leo and Xander. Birthright is the best story of the 3 paths in my opinion but like the others it has major flaws as well and is also ruined because of Conquest and Revelations throwing the Nohr ressources idea and Revelations' golden and probably canon ending making both Birthright and Conquest obsolete. Since CRASHX500/BLAZINGKNIGHT is currently playing FE4, I am quite curious about what he thinks about this game as well.

  8. Maybe you could give her War Priestress' skills Renewal and Countermagic. Quixotic would be useful especially if she has skills like Aegis/Pavise/Miracle/Rend Heaven/Sol and Vengeance. Lancefaire/Axefaire would be useful as well depending of her class.
  9. But you can still talk to her when she sleeps according to her support with Female Robin. True but she can still live with your possible children though I guess it would depend how long a half-manakete can live compared to a full manakete.
  10. Tiki is the better waifu and one of the best. I prefer her design and personality but I would not marry Loli Tiki from FE1/3/11/12. Azura has also a good design and has her sweet moments sometimes but most of the time she's too stoic and reserved to be a better wife than Tiki in my opinion.
  11. Mitama is also very good as a Berserker too especially if Effie is her mother because of the +6 in strength and the +3 in speed. If I remember well, she can only get the berserker class if she marries Corrin/Male Kana or A+ Female Kana with Fighter as a secondary class.
  12. Overall Witches have higher magic, are faster than Sorcerors and have access to the Warp skill without the Warp tome. Sorcerers have better defense, resistance and have access to Nosferatu without Shadowgift. Both of them can use the S rank tome Excalibur.
  13. Let's go! Classes and weapons -A flier unit who uses primarly swords. Maybe it could be the Griffon Rider as a base class or a Kinshi Knight. -Falcon Knights can use Lance, Swords and Staffs. -Light magic, the two magic triangles (Dark>Anima>Light and Wind>Thunder>Fire), are back. -Wind is only strong against Pegasi. Thunder is only strong against Dragons and Wyverns. If Griffon/Kinshi Rider is back as a base class, I would like them to be weak against Fire. -Some Hoshidan and Nohrian classes from Fates are back. I guess they are going to change the name of some of the Hoshidans ones like the Oni Savages or Spear Fighters into Soldiers for example. Oni Savages are a new type of Bandits/Ruffians, Apothecary could be like the Hunter class from FE11/FE12, etc... -Sword Thieves, Ninjas and Outlaws are all available so like that we got thieves who have a different weapon from each other. Thieves's skill at level 10 is the stealing command from the previous games like how Oni Savages got the Shove command. -There are more trainees than Villagers/Recruits. Bring back Journeyman, Pupil, one for the Swords (Myrmidon/Mercenary) and one for the Bows (Archer/Outlaw or Apothecary) and Shurikens (Ninjas and something else). Villagers become Knight/Soldier, Pupil becomes Mage/Dark Mage or Monk and Journeyman becomes Fighter/Pirate or Oni Savage. Since it's a bit too much, I propose that you can only choose one of them. After you save villagers in a bandit attack paralogue, you would have the possibility to pick one. -Allow more classes to pick two weapons of the same weapon triangle like Dark Knight(Sword/Tomes). Bring back Warriors for Axe/Bows and create one for shurikens/knives and lances. -Dark Mage are a bit more defensive like the Shamans. Summoners are back and Dark Knights become one of the anima Mage's promotions. -More magic hybrid classes. Revenant Knights can use dark magic, one of the Pegasus Knights' promotions can use light magic, one of the Griffon/Kinshi's Rider promotions can use anima magic, etc... I would like to see an armored unit who use magic. I heard Barons in Judgral could do that. -Shapeshifters could use more weapons than stones like Corrin. I was surprised Kitsunes couldn't use magic because they are magic users in most of the medias they appear. -A lord who doesn't use a sword again. -I don't mind the unbreakable weapon system with the buffs/debuffs so I woudn't mind it if it's back. -More status staffs like the Berserk staff or the Sleep staff. -I wouldn't mind to have FE11/FE12 reclassing or the one from FE14. The main problem I have with FE13 and FE14's reclassing is that you are forced to lose a valuable item for being to able to reclass and you can't do it all the time like in FE11/FE12 without losing money. -Once a unit promotes, the other weapon he gains is at D rank. -Better weapon rank experience than the one in Fates. -Like the previous games, a character can only get a S weapon rank and the others at A rank. It's not specific to only one class. The promoted classes which can use only weapon like Swordmasters and Berserkers get innate crits. -If IS adds a new weapon, I would like it to be the unit's fists like normal monks. Maps and difficulty -More various side objectives -More defend maps -Bring back Fog of War -Dragon veins should come back but this time, it shouldn't be limited to royals but it should depend of the unit's class. For example, Camilla can summon fire balls and thunder in 2 Birthright maps. I think that a Mage should be able to do that as well. -Gaining exp and being able to kill when I use a ballista on the map. -More shortcuts in the map like a dead tree falling to make a bridge. There was something like in the Kitsune map in Conquest but I would have preferred if they were more stuffs like that. -There should be a "Birthright/Conquest" mode for the next game. By choosing Conquest, the maps become harder and require more strategy. The Birthright mode is for those who don't want a more challenging experience. -I have no problem with Casual and Phoenix mode so it should stay with Classic so people can play it the way they want and everyone is happy. Avatar Since the avatar appears in 3 games in a row, I assume the avatar will stay so the least I can do, is trying to improve it. -Avatar =/= Lord. No avatar Lord anymore like Corrin. -The Avatar is more limited in the story. He could be something like a normal soldier, tactictian, etc... -More cutomization options like glasses, skin color, better haircuts, eye colors, badass mustaches, etc... -Like in FE12, you can choose your character's past/background. This time it will not influence the growth rates but the Avatar's supports/dialogues and possibly recruitable characters. -If the Avatar must be worshipped, I want it to make sense. I want them to have done something revelant for them to be praised all the time. -If the avatar got siblings or adopted ones and who lived with them for all their lives, I don't want them to be able to marry each other. -Customizable class. You can choose the Avatar's primary weapon (staff included) and once he promotes, he can get a new one. You can choose him to be a footsoldier or to have a mount (Horse, Wyvern, Pegasus, Griffon). You can also choose his other base class as well. -The avatar gets a dialogue tree. You can choose the avatar's personality too. It would influence the dialogue tree both in a few supports and gameplay. Remember how in FE6, you could do different chapters depending of the units you used or one of the two villages you visited? That dialogue tree could let you do different chapters. Depending of what you could say, you could negociate with an enemy group or fight them. -I dont want the character to get a legendary weapon but if he got one, I would like it to be able to change its weapon type. Even though I like the Yato, it's too bad it's only limited for the sword users. -If the game has multiple races like Manaketes, Laguz, etc..., the avatar should get different ears and also different dialogues when talking to people of different races. Characters -No more Avatarsexual characters. -Not an excessive number of supports for each characters. -Characters should be able to support characters with similar backgrounds/interests. It's ridiculous that Reina can't support with Kagero, Orochi, Yukimura, that Flora can't support with Gunter and Jakob, Charlotte can't support with Anna, etc... -I don't mind if the characters are tropes as long it's not exaggerated. -I don't mind fanservice as long as it's not excessive and not for armored units. I can understand for the dancers, mages and fighters for example since they are quite fragile and don't wear a lot of armor but not boob armor for the female Knight, "butt window", etc... -A good unit balance. -In Fates, you can only get one Oni Savage and one Apothecary. I don't want to see only one type of playable unit but at least 2. I am ok if we get only one dancer of course. -Even though I like that retainers are more important in Fates, there are too much of them and not many various recruitments. I would like to be able to recruit previous enemies who join the Lord for other reasons than just following their masters/lords or thinking that the Lord looks friendly. -Children can appear but only if it makes sense in the story. No more Deeprealms please. Story -I don't care if the story is complex or simple as long as it makes sense. -A better worldbuilding. Bring back the chapter's introduction with the Lord walking on the map with the narration and the little houses in the map where the NPCs talked about the country, the kingdom, villains, etc... -Not cartoon villains. I also would like to see more main villain's screentimes and interactions with his generals. A team like the Dragon Generals, Daein's Four Riders, the Six Imperial Generals and the Wolfguard for example would be cool as well. MyCastle and online -Bring back base conversations. -MyCastle should look like more Tellius barracks/base. For example, in FE9 Daein, it was snowing and the base was covered in snow. I would like to see someting like that again. The base would change depending of the next chapter's environment (castle, near a forest, etc..). Before the Endgame or after you defeat the Final Boss, you can change the Base's environment for online uses. -Being able to create maps like Super Mario Maker, to pick previous chapters for PvP and one of the 2 maps the 2 players picked, is randomly chosen. Same with the map's objective (Rout, defend, seize, defeat the boss). -Maybe more units for PvP. Being able to do 2 armies vs 2 armies too. -I wouldn't mind the skinship models back since they looked nice but I want the team to take care of it at the end when they are sure that the gameplay, characters and story are fine. Maybe they could make it related with the supports. That's it for now but there are probably some stuffs that I forgot.
  14. Design wise I like both their designs but I prefer Xander's armor. The cavaliers in this game have a very good armor design. Both Xander and Ryoma are very good units. I use Ryoma mainly in player phase so like that I am sure an enemy unit dies. For the enemy phase, I prefer Xander because tanking the enemy attacks is more reliable than just trying to avoid it. Personality and story wise I prefer Ryoma. Even if he seems to be calm and "perfect" most of the time, he is quite flawed. He can be reckless since he doesn't hesitate to go to Cheve alone for example like Thor Odinson and Ownagepuffs said. I prefer Xander's supports more but he is badly treated in the story for the same reasons Thane said. I would like to add that I am not a fan of the "justice is an illusion" dialogue because it's quite hypocrite since he saves Rinkah and Kaze in the prologue, Kagero and the Hoshidan siblings later on. He also doesn't like Kotaro, Zola, Hans and Iago's actions (even though it's not that different from Garon's actions) so he decides to kill them and their troops who are allies even though it seems to be contradictory with that dialogue. I also find very questionable that he is willing to invade Hoshido, thinking that Garon will be better after the war, hating Hans for being a murderer despite having a similar retainer and wanting to continue the fight in BR despite his sister's last wishes. I prefer Ryoma in general. Maybe Hoshidans love seefoods and see Ryoma as a sports team mascot.
  15. Because Nohr is poor and not wearing practical armor is seen as a Nohrian strategy. Nohr also doesn't have Oboro. They have Forrest but he wants to give everyone cute pink berets instead and unfortunately no one wants that. Garon: Now give our zombies BDSM gears!
  16. Wow we got some information and cool stuffs in that trailer! Type: Null looks awesome though its name is weird. Its shape looks like Absol's . Its "collar" looks like Arceus' crest maybe it got Arceus and other powerful/legendary pokemons DNA since it seems to be a chimera. It also doesn't have a gender from what we saw in the JP trailer in 2:43. Jangmo-o looks like an ankylosaurus though it's not a fossil because it's not a rock type. Its color scheme makes me think it could evolve into a Dragon/Steel type but its description could imply it would evolve into a Dragon/Fighting type. I can see the end of its tail looking like a glove when it would evolve. I like its design. Its last evolution is probably the gen 7's pseudo legendary. Alolan Raticate looks hilarious, it looks like a fat hamster and I love it. I prefer it over the normal one design wise. I kinda wish it got an another type than normal though poison or something else because of its x4 fighting type weakness though I guess I shouldn't judge it how viable it is yet inb4 top tier Rattata/ Raticate/Youngster Joey jokes. Even though all the alolan forms are for now from the first gen, I still hope that the other gens also get alolan forms. The time differences look fun. When I first played Gold as a kid, I setted up a wrong time so most of the time I played it, it was night time but it was cool. It was that cool that I decided to do this in my later gold playthroughs, didn't do that for silver and crystal though. Because of these events, I wonder if it would make the Yungoos and the Raticate line version/time exclusive. Or maybe one is more common in one version than the other one like Plusle/Minun and Volbeat/Illumise in R/S/ORAS. Maybe after we caught one of the legendaries, we could fix the time. I guess that we could also just change the 3DS's clock. The biggest surprise to me is that Aether Foundation and the Ultra Beasts. I wonder if they are gonna be an another villainous Team but I wouldn't mind if they are good people. The Branch chiefs could be Aether's admins and the employees could be the grunts/peons. I love Lusamine and Wicke's designs. Lusamine gives me Cynthia vibes but I want to see her as the main villain because we never got a female one. Faba looks kinda evil maybe he will betray Lusamine. I could be wrong though like how I thought Xerosic would betray Lysandre. He is one of the main reasons why I think that Aether could be the villains. Wicke looks cute and too innocent especially if the organisation is actually evil. Maybe she's Faga's assistant. There is a Machamp behind her in the JP video at 1:42 but I don't know if it belongs to her or if it's just a mover or something. The employees look friendly but I'm not a fan of their designs. It's not bad at all but they are too many bags. The conflict between them and Team Skull reminds me of Cipher and Team Snagem. Maybe in the past, they were allies like them. Team Skull seem to sell pokemons for money so maybe they sold them pokemons at one point for their experiences (like Team Snagem and Cipher) which could have created the Ultra Beasts. After a problem (like Team Skull realizing what Aether was doing), Team Skull and Aether become enemies. Maybe one of the Teams would like to use the boxart legendary to destroy the other Team, to make their Team the main one in Alola and to continue their goals. Why is Owain/Odin Dark in S/M? Fates wasn't enough? His sword/tome hand probably twitches because of how dark and awesome Team Skull and Type: Null are. Gladion acts like an "edgier" Silver/Blue and Paul/Shinji from the anime. Since Gladion is Team Skull's enforcer, I guess we'll fight him frequently probably after defeating some grunts. He could act like a rival or N. He looks like Lillie and Lusamine so they could be related. But I could be wrong since Ghetsis and N weren't blood related and they are similar. He could betray Team Skull and be a Aether spy who give them information about Team Skull. I'm surprised that they didn't show us other Team Skull admins. I also feel like Guzma is not their true boss/mastermind. I don't know why but he doesn't seem to be the boss of an evil Team maybe it's because he was revealed quite early and has just 2 pokemons in his possible first battle. It wouldn't be the first time it happens (Nascour, Evice, N and Colress). Pokésnap 2.0/Pokéfinder looks interesting. I wonder if it could affect the gameplay like a trainer giving a TM/item for a good picture. Nice Rotom Dex inb4Sinnoh remakes confirmed. I guess that if we find all Zygarde cells and cores, we can change our XY Zygarde into its 10%/dog and complete forms. Maybe we can find a Zygarde in-game. The Ultra Beasts are also an interesting concept but I can't say more since we got only one. Like some people said, UB-01 looks like Lillie. I am not sure if it's supposed to be her or if its based on her. Some trainers tend to wear clothes similar to their pokémons (like Unovan Roughnecks/Cue Balls with their Krookodile vests using Krookoroks/Krookodile, Poké Kids/Pokéfans using the Pikachu evolution lines etc...) so maybe it belongs to her. If UB-01 has types like pokémons, I think it could be a Water/Psychic type.
  17. Oh ok I see thanks. But aren't Risen supposed to be dead people too? Is the difference just that Risens are mostly random dead people and not dead powerful warriors like the Deadlords? I guess it could work too. Though I guess it would depend like DragonFlames, shadowofchaos and Emperor Petit said how the time travel is supposed to work especially in Awakening. Sadly we will never know. I agree with most of these theories especially the Morgan, Walhart and Gangrel ones.
  18. I'd say Daniela (Birthright Valkyrie/Strategist boss). She looks like a female Excellus. Compared to most of the other bandit and capturable bosses in Fates, Gazak is quite ugly too. The other bandits/capturable bosses look quite ok/decent to me. Gazak looks like the ugly bandit bosses from the previous games. I guess it's not surprising since he seems to be based on FE1/FE11 Gazak. Same with Iago and Zola though it's mostly their sorceror/clown dark mage outfits. They look funny though. I am not a fan of Anankos' dragon form and of his mask either. The other Vallite villains look good to me. Anthony is a bit generic though but I like the purple/Vallite Faceless design. Kotaro and Garon have very cool designs. I am okay with Hans but he's kinda generic too.
  19. Yep. Here I was talking about their designs and their appeals not really about their personality. I guess that I should have mentioned that. You're welcome! True about Rhajat. She's less a yandere than Tharja and Camilla since I believe that she doesn't threaten to kill the avatar if they back out or "left"/"betray" her unlike the other 2. But like some others, she's still a stalker, has an obsession with them and loves them. Hana is one even though she likes girly things. She plays and trains with swords even when she was kinda young according to her support with Takumi. And like TrueEm said, her japanese personal skill name is Tomboy. Japan sure is an interesting country, right? He is just a lucky boy like Chrom with Female Robin. It's an accident after all! It reminds me of a common thing which happens in a lot of animes where a male character looks at a female character bathing or changing her clothes by accident. Not sure why they changed the back/lower back thing but it doesn't seem to matter much since Azura said that he was around for a bit and then he told her that she's beautiful after Azura says nothing about the lower back/back comment so he probably saw other things. I believe that like kuuderes, they like them when they warm up and show their "dere"/nice sides. I guess that some people could find them cute when they are pissed. Though it's a fetish so there is probably not a good reason like most of them or at least they are very varied. Ah I see that I wasn't wrong about the term then. Thanks for clarifying that.
  20. He said that because Flora has a crush on Jakob. It's revealed when Jakob fight her in Birthright and in Conquest and in their halloween DLC support. Like Cordelia, she blushes a lot in that DLC even if Jakob is already married and if she's married to the avatar. Though I guess that we shouldn't take that too seriously. Even if Cordelia gets over it with other characters, she still likes Chrom after all. It's just that characters lost development when they talk to other characters even if they got development previously. I pretty much agree with what Abvora and TrueEm said. I forgot what is Soleil's trope name but it's basically girls who "loves" other girls, likes to flirt with them and other stuffs but are not lesbians. She's also a yuri fan. Nina is a yaoi fangirl. Flora and Felicia also share the maid fetish. Jakob could be seen as a bishonen (beautiful boy) butler. Camilla and Rhajat are yanderes. Peri seems to be a yangire, a psycho who become violent because of a past trauma and snaps out irritation in general. Contrary to a yandere, they are not motivated because they love someone and commit murders or other cruel things by their own will. Reina is a milf. Hana, Rinkah, Hinoka and Effie are tomboys and strong girls. Same with Scarlet I guess. Camilla and Hinoka are also Onee sans (big sister). Sakura and Elise are imoutos (little sisters). Elise seems to be the energetic type and Sakura the shy one. They are also lolis like Nyx and Midori. Azura and Beruka are kuuderes because they are cold and barely show any expressions at first but warm up later on. Velouria and Selkie are kemonomimis or something like that, human girls with animal parts like ears, tails. Selkie is a Kitsune. Kitsunes are popular Youkais/japanese monsters, they are also popular monster girls. They are probably some others that I forgot.
  21. I agree with you on this. I believe that the main reason why he wanted to sacrifice Robin was because he could obtain his true strength back. It is also possible that he had other plans too. In FE1/FE3/FE11/FE12, we learnt that Naga used the Shield of Seals/Fire Emblem in the Dragon Table to seal Earth Dragons. After the gemstones in the FE were removed, the seal over the Earth Dragons was weakened. We know that the FE was used again in FE3/FE13 when Marth and his army were fighting in the Dragon Table against Medeus and the other dragons to seal Earth Dragons once again. We also know that when Awakening starts, 4 gemstones were not in the FE anymore, so the seal could be once again weakened. What if Grima wanted to free his dragon friends to bring more chaos to the world? The more, the merrier! We also don't know why Grima hated humans and Naga after all so it could be one of the reasons. Not sure about this one. We don't really know what were the differences between the original and the new timelines except that the Plegia War was longer, Emmeryn dying earlier and the parents surviving. I don't really know how these scenes could have worked in the original timeline. In the original timeline, Robin probably wouldn't have suspected something weird since him and Chrom probably never met him before. After Validar "died", he seemed surprised. He thought it couldn't happen because it was his destiny. Then Grima came and revived him. I doubt that Validar was killed during the assassination in the original timeline or else he wouldn't have been surprised when he died. When the original Shepherds went in Carrion Island, Grima wasn't revived at that time and Lucina couldn't be here for obvious reasons so there weren't Risens probably. In my opinion, it means that these scenes are new events which didn't happen in the futur. It doesn't really make sense for Validar's character to defy the destiny. However, it could be possible that it was Grima's plan of course and him sending his troops. Why did he do that? Well, he seems to be quite sadistic, cruel and he seems to love playing with people minds. To me, F!Robin appears in front of Robin because he wanted to mess with poor Robin's head and confuse Robin and Chrom for the fun. He doesn't really need to appear in front of him to realize or not if his heart is ready or not. After all, he tried to control before the game happens. Validar tried that too at the beginning of chapter 13 and later on when he stole the FE and used this to try to kill Chrom. Not sure who tried to control him in chapter 14 though I guess it could be Grima since Validar already did this recently and he had no reason to do this again. He probably did that because he wanted to have fun and to test the army's strength in this timeline to see if the timelines are truly different or not. If he wanted to kill them, he would have summoned stronger Risens like the Deadlords or something. He also never did that before since he wasn't revived and it is the first time he time travelled so he probably want to do a few "experiments". I think that Robin just got twins. In the DLC, Morgan reveals to Inigo/Cynthia (depends of Morgan's gender) that they got 2 copies of the same book. When male/female Robin talks to female/male Morgan, they gave Morgan a book. And after Robin left, Morgan said they already have that book since they gave them before they were possessed by Grima. It's possible that in the original timeline, F!Robin got twins and gave them a strategy book, and after Morgan is recruited, Robin gave Morgan the same one. They are klutzs so they probably don't realize that until the DLC support. So if they are twins, why don't we get the other one? What happened? If female Morgan has a sibling, her sibling basically told them that she is maybe amnesiac because she wanted to forget something painful or a bad memory and it was maybe for the best. What did her sibling mean by that? If Chrom married Sumia and talks to Cynthia in her recruitment chapter, he said that Lucina "forgets" to tell them that she has a sister. It's more likely that she didn't wanted to tell them that she has a sibling because if Cynthia died, Chrom and Sumia would probably be sad to have lost one of their child. If we recruit female Morgan's sibling before her, they don't talk about Morgan to their parents (since Robin is surprised when he recruits her), like Lucina probably for the same reasons. So it's possible that Morgan got a twin and her other sibling doesn't want to say it for not making their family sad. And of course Morgan will never know that, even if Robin marries a character who doesn't have an another kid since she's amnesiac. In the future past, the Morgans are the only children who work for Grima. When Morgan's sibling was talking about a "bad memory", they were probably referencing this. We know that Grima did something when Naga was trying to send Lucina and the other kids in the past. Maybe he sent one of the Morgans in the portal. We know that he can do this after all some Risens can travel in the past, they appeared because of portals in chapter 1 with Lucina. The children were not sent in the same place (and not at the same time for Laurent) because of this. Naga probably tried to make sure that humanity's only hope would not be killed by that Morgan and the Risens so maybe she did something which cause them to be send in different locations. It's possible that it is also why Morgan is amnesiac. I would say what happened to Morgan is pretty much what happens to the main protagonist of the second Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and The other Morgan is maybe dead, killed by Lucina's group or Grima or Naga. Or he is still in the future all alone doing something inbefore main villain in a FE13's sequel. Kinda hard to defend this but I will try. Emmeryn: Miracle. Also she's apparently the most resilient person in the army. Gangrel: Pretty much what StWalker said. Walhart: He already survived once so it's possible he could survive once more. He also controlled the Risens in his recruitment chapter so maybe Grima revived him and tried to possess him to have a new puppet but failed because of his strong will like Robin. Aversa: The same way Validar survived. Thanks Grima. I have a few questions concerning the Grimleal and the Deadlords. I don't understand why the Grimleal could use the Deadlords. I haven't played FE4 and FE5 yet but I know that they were created by the Lopto Sect. Did they used the same dark magic? Are the Grimleal and the Lopto Sect the same? Why did a few of FE13's Deadlords have Judgral's divine weapons? Are Loptyr and Grima related or the same dragon? They blood-bonded with humans after all. Is Morgan the main villain in the next FE game?
  22. I would say darkness as well. In Birthright chapter 6, Xander says to Ryoma : "I've yearned to introduce you to a dear friend of mine - the dark blade Siegfried!"
  23. I would say Selena but I prefer to use Niles as a Bow Knight.
  24. #1: Laslow/Inigo I don't really care about him in awakening and it's the same thing in Fates, though he seems to be more mature. I also don't like that he's Xander's retainer, Peri's friend and what happens with the Hidden truths DLC. It doesn't reflect well on him and on the other 2 for the last part. He's meh as a unit which is sad since he was good in FE13. #2: Shigure He is OK personality wise. I like that he has an important role in the DLC. I don't really use him as a unit. #3: Selkie I like foxes and Kitsunes in general so I like her design a lot. She's also a good unit and cute imo. I wish she had more personality than "Let's play" but honestly I could say that for most of the children. #4: Flora Except what happens to her in Birthright, I love her a lot. I think that she has a good personality, good supports and has a good design. I wish like all the Corrinsexuals, that she had more supports. I use her a bit and she seems to be weaker than Felicia and Jakob. #5: Scarlet She's a cool character and one of my favorites. I hate how she is treated like garbage in the 2 other routes. She is a fun unit to use. She also neeeds more supports like one with Ryoma for obvious reasons. #6: Selena/Severa I like how she's less tsun and more mature. She was okay as a pairup unit for Xander . Aside from that, a bit underwhelming especially compared to how good she was in FE13. #7: Nyx I like her personality and her design even though I don't like how they decide to make her "I look very young but I'm very old" character trope. I also don't like her localized voice, she sounds like a mouse in my opinion. She's a good glasscanon and was useful as a Dark Flier on Conquest. I also like that she's one of the few characters wwho aren't a royal or a retainer. #8: Takumi One of my favorite characters in this game, if not my favorite. I love his personality and his lines. Good unit, probably one of the best archers in the franchise. I don't like how he is treated in Conquest though. #9: Corrin Worst Lord and Avatar imo. He's meh in Birthright, terrible in Conquest and between the two in Revelations. Gameplay wise I am happy that we finally got a "manakete Lord" even though I wish we got more Dragonstones, more dragon lore and that I am not "forced" to be locked in a sword class because of the Yato. The male version is lame design wise compared to the female one. #10: Sophie Avel is more interesting than her. She's funny though. Good unit. #11: Shura An another interesting character who doesn't have many supports. I like his special dialogue when he fights against Kotaro. #12: Saizo I love this badass since I read his dialogue when he fights against Kotaro and most of his supports. He's also very useful as a unit. He's better than his brother gameplay and personality wise. Good design too. #13: Velouria I love her design and the idea that she is a wolf with the little red riding hood outfit. Effie!Velouria is one of my best units in Conquest. Her gimmick is overused and she's basically a female version of her dad. Her support with her mother was very cute. #14: Fuga I haven't finished Revelations yet so I don't know how he is as a unit. He's not that important in the story, though him being Sumeragi's best friend and Hayato's adoptive dad is interesting. #15: Subaki I think that he's funny sometimes and doesn't seem to be a Cordelia clone to me. Unlike her, he tries to be perfect even though he's flawed. I also like his supports. I think that he was more useful in Revelation than Birthright. Sadly he's still not that useful to me which is a shame since I like pegasus knights and he's the first male one. #16: Hinoka She's my least favorite Hoshidan sibling. She's a waste of potential because she doesn't have much importance in the story. It's not surprising since she wasn't supposed to exist in the first place. Kinda sad. I don't like her support with Saizo. I love her design and I think she's a very good unit. Not the best Royal but still very good. #17: Niles I like him though I think he's a bit overrated. He's good overall though sometimes he acts like a jerk for no reasons like in his support with Mozu. I like his design. He was a good unit in Conquest. I used him as a Bow Knight then I reclass him as Kinshi Knight and he was very useful especially near the end of the game with his Sniper wife Mozu. #18: Felicia Bad gimmick and bad supports in general though I must admit that she's cute. It seems that she's also less stupid than I thought she would be after I read her dialogues in Revelation ealy game and in the Awakening DLC. She's just a poor clumsy maid. I felt a bit sad for her because of her sister's action in Birthright. Good unit especially when she ha the Flame Shuriken. #19: Kagero My second favorite ninja. I like her design and how useful she is as a unit. I also like her supports a lot especially the one with Orochi which is one my favorite supports. Kinda weird how she was a damsel in distress in all the routes. #20: Kana I mostly saw the female one's supports. She's cute but she doesn't have much personality. Female Morgan was more interesting than her. I like her support with Kiragi and her support with Midori was cute and funny. As a unit, I think she's useful as a Nohr Noble. I wish that she could use the Yato. #21: Effie I hate how her localized voice and how the localization changed her. I like her design even though the boob armor and asswindow are ridiculous. I love her gameplay wise. She's amazing and probably one of the best Generals in the franchise. #22: Jakob He's kinda a jerk, not funny most of the time and worships Corrin too much. I like his supports with Azura. I don't find him as useful as Felicia though it's probably because I haven't played with a female avatar yet. #23: Leo He's my favorite Nohrian Royal and one of my favorite characters in the game. I love most of his supports and his role in the story. He seems to be the weaker Royal unit if he stays as a Dark Knight. I gave him Lifetaker, then I reclassed him as a Dark Flier for better growths and speed then I reclassed him again for Excalibur and Nosferatu. He was a bit tanky and very useful though it wasn't necessary since he was already useful as a Dark Flier. Not sure how he is on Lunatic, since I just play on Hard mode for all the routes for now. #24: Hayato He's kinda bad on Birthright but he is very good imo on Revelation. Even though he looks like Ricken, I think that he was far more interesting than him. I like most of his supports. #25: Hinata I love him, he's a cool dude, funny and a bro. Good supports overall. I find him useful as a Blacksmith though he seems cool in his original class line too. He's not Ryoma but he's still useful to me. #26: Silas I like him as a unit. Personality wise he can be nice, sometimes he acts like a jerk, or is a weirdo with his avatar obsession. His support with Elise was kinda creepy. It wasn't as creepy as the japanese one but still. #26.5: Hans A hybrid between a worse Caellach and a generic Bandit boss with plot armor. His line "Die! Die! Die!" is all you need to know about him. He's so ridiculous that he's sometimes a comedic villain. I stopped taking this guy seriously after he was defeated by a generic Samouraï in chapter 3. I hate what happens in conquest chapter 13. Kinda funny that Xander hates him because he's a murderer but likes Peri. Maybe he would love him if he was a chick. #27: Orochi I like her a lot though I see why she was the least popular girl because of her personality. I like her design and her supports. Bad speed but was still good on Birthright. She sucks in Revelation though. #28: Mitama She's one of my favorite children. I like her design and the haiku gimmick. Good unit too, especially as a Berserker (A+ Kana). #29: Charlotte One of my favorite Fighters in the franchise and an awesome character . I love her personality. I also like and her design even though it's fanservice because I like the irony of her looking "delicate and fragile" despite that her class is fearsome. I wish that she has more skill but she did a good job as a pairupbot for my avatar and even on her own because of her good strength, speed, HP and all her crits. #30: Odin/Owain I love him in Awakening and I still like him in Fates especially that he seems more mature even though he seems sometimes too gimmicky. I used him as a Grandmaster and he was a bit useful early game. #30.5: Zola He is more interesting than all the villains in just one route. I wish that he was playable in Birthright. In Conquest, he has a good plan but it wasn't honorable enough for Mister Xander and Corrin. Maybe they could have put the Hoshidan siblings as hostages rather than killing them instead to make Hoshido surrenderr but I think that killing him and his army was too much. I wonder how his generic soldiers capture Ryoma and the rest in Conquest and how he captures Team Takumi in Revelation. I also wonder why he wanted to bully Sakura that much compared to the other characters in the 3 routes. Weird but ok. #31: Peri She reminds me a bit that generic Paladin FE7 Pascal boss. Both of them are cavaliers, murderers, evil nobles and sadistic. I wonder why we kill this guy in FE7 since most people in Fates don't seem to have a problem with her. She makes most of the characters look worse like Xander, Corrin and Keaton and most of her supports are bad especially the one with Felicia imo. Same with her S rank ones especially with Corrin, Benoit, Kaden. That S rank support with Kaden reminds me that awful Inigo X Nah support. She's my least favorite character personality wise. Besides that I love her design and how useful she is as a unit. She's better than I thought she would be and her personal skill is my favorite. #32: Midori She's very cute. I wish that she was my daughter instead of Kana. I don't like her support with Ophelia though. I don't really use her as a unit but she seems useful to get more money.
