  1. Currently watching some modded Xenoblade Chronicles gameplay! The gameplay core is great, it just needed tweaks (characters like Melia for example) got fine-tuned so their kit actually works with the game.

Enemies are also a threat pretty much across the board. Level ceiling is lowered across the board (endgame will be 55-60 instead of 80) and all enemies accomodated for that.

Haha, sounds about right. Which is why once I got past switching the party around for the Enforcer scenes, I just put Kevin with the guarding setup and never let go.

"I hold in my hand a chalice of the heaveans, may it's holiest of lights act as our shield!"

Though to be fair, I didn't had much need for healing because I gave Kevin a Time Gem. So he could keep up Earth Guard/Wall on everyone practically all the time

You played Normal, right? How much damage on average did the Enforcers deal you? Or when using their S Craft(s) etc.

Yeah, it was a precaution, but she indeed spent more time casting Soul Blur and Death Scream than otherwise.

Healing being flat values sucks for that reason. Its not "bad" really, just a nitpick of mine. Role overlap issues, really. Trails will constantly slam you with that in the future when 99% of the cast becomes art casters lol.

Yeah, it was mostly having someone in the healer role (which Kloe naturally fits as some of her orbment slots are locked to Water to begin with)

She is actually better suited to be mainstay offence ironically due to high ATS and water having ATS + boosts.

I think I only have like 1-2 Blades left to get from the Gacha. Having used so many Core Crystals already in the intended way, I think I might just game it a little now. Get a sizeable number of crystals, then make a Cloud Save and turn off automatic sync. Use the crystals, if no Rare Blades, then download back the Cloud Save and try again.

Just farm the crystals in Torigoth.

It's already been scientifically proven that a lot of people genuinely do not perceive the difference between frames without a contrast right in front of them.

Smash Bros generally has a window of 1-7 frame options that are basically unreactable for humans. I dont think that means they dont notice how quick a frame 1 options is. You could say "its only 6 frames!" Though.

Some can react and notice and some cant, its just how things are. Unfortunately.

Wait wouldn't the guy who can play at both framerates just fine be more skilled at the game than the guy who can only play in one framerate?

    This is a genuine question.

I didn't say that, you're the one who brought it up man.

Umm, no. There is alot more depth that goes into it than just controls.

Honestly, the whole "bu-but 30 fps messes up my timing" feels like a government psyop

Im fairly certain this mockery was uneeded.

    Yeah ok.

Honestly, the whole "bu-but 30 fps messes up my timing" feels like a government psyop. Not once have i ever had my performance in a game affected by it's framerate unless it was running at frames it wasn't supposed to.

Yeah... Thats really not much. Not when the core was already there, its not like any of that is new content...

Hey, just cause you choose to play without relying on skill, not my issue. Xd

Clearly we play at different levels lmao.

Honestly, it never was too big of a deal for me the whole 30 vs 60 FPS's thing. Then again, unless you put the same footage side-by-side, I can't even tell which is running on which...

It affects super-guard timing, which is important imo

Considering how much else they did here, i doubt it. It's taking all of the QoL and flair from Origami King and putting them into TTYD, like varying battle themes depending on where you're at.

The 30 FPS is really just a

"How much else" even though its minor edits to an already existing game lol

What they have done so far isnt impressive.

I'd see if it was visually busy as that XCOM port or me spamming the fire finisher in 3 Hopes. But I kind of doubt if the revamped lightning and stuff would actually kill the Switch like that.

No way. Games that demand much more run fine at 60.
