Just a quick question. I'm trying to make a streetpass team with just MU's, but playing to chapter 17 just for the boots can be pretty time consuming. So I built up my renown to 50,000. However, for some reason, whenever I start a new file, the renown does not carry over; in fact it seems to be stuck at around 42,000. Does anyone know how I can "sync" my renown between files, or have some other solution? Please let me know, it would be much appreciated. Edit: One other thing: Does that glitch with including other MU's causing your streetpass team to look generic to others still apply, even its MUs you've made yourself?

Even though it will be less pixelated, I figure I wont notice the difference since this will be my first experience owning a 3DS. Otherwise the XL's options sound better. Hey guys. With the release of Fire Emblem Awakening, I figured I would finally purchase a 3DS. However this comes with the conundrum of whether I should purchase the 3DS Bundle or a 3DS XL with the game. Additionally, I did see a topic similar to this further back, but I was hoping I could get a little more input now that this game has had time to circulate. Now, from what I understand, these are the pros and cons of the two routes I am thinking of going down. 3DS Bundle Pros: -Comes all in one package, ready to go -Better Sound Quality -Nice Design, although I could possibly purchase a decal for the 3DS XL Cons: -Smaller Screen -No Physical Copy of the game, which I normally enjoy having in my posession 3DS XL + Physical Copy of the Game Pros: -Larger Screen -Better Screen Resolution -Longer Battery Life -More Comfortable to Hold -Physical Copy of the Game Cons: -Reduced Sound Quality ( I am an audiophile, so this is very important to me) -Too large to fit in ones pants pocket, although I do not normally carry gaming systems on my personnage in my day-to-day life -No Neat Design -Around an additional 50$ + for this whole set, which does not even include a warranty -Casing is more easily scratched -Shaky 3D, although this aspect does not matter much to me, since the 3D can be turned off Basically I am looking for someone who can offer input of which of these two packages I should go with. Additionally, if someone who has both a 3DS and a 3DS XL could tell me about the differences in screen resolution (i.e. is the resolution better, or just stretched?) and sound quality (does using headphones make the sound quality the same?) would be greatly appreciated. Didn't this pattern infer that an FE7 character would be the next DLC?

Eirika being released seems to go against the supposed DLC "pattern" that many here have been debating over. If anything, this just makes it more apparent that there is no pattern and that the order and number of DLC characters being released is random. On the topic of Eirika, or more specifically her new class, I honestly can't say I am amazed by it. I know several Spotpass and DLC characters use weapons and classes that do not match with their original classes, but this new class just seems incredibly bizarre. Why call it "Bride?" Why not "Princess" or "Queen?" Why is the class in a dress of all things? There are just so many things that are inherently wrong with it. This is just my opinion though. I'll reserve judgement for the class' utility when it is released, but the qualms I have with it just make me cringe.

Who says each DLC needs to sell equally well? Wouldn't it make more sense to include a unique class with a popular character such as Lyn to optimize profit? After all, this is what IS is after, is it not? Edit: I realize it's fun to debate about future DLC, but is everyone here assuming that future DLC characters will, at some point in time, be fought as the "boss" of their teams? And in that regard, that there can only exist one character per class? Fire Emblem has spanned several titles to date, and as such, it seems absurd that IS would attempt to separate each DLC character into their own class. Everyone here seems to be looking for the solution to this "pattern," when there could be simply no pattern at all.

Any sign of Secret Shops? Or for that matter, the Members Card or Silver Card? Or an Afa's Drop/Metis's Tome/Maturity Drop-esque items? Edit: Any Fog of War chapters? Gotta love Fog of War chapters.

Can someone clarify this for me? Say I got my Gramdmaster MU to lvl 15 for Rainbow Cry. Would using a change seal on them reset their level to 1 and, say I reclassed to a Dark Pegasus Class, give them the option to learn Lightning Speed at level 15? So essentially, you could keep using changing seals to reset levels, and ultimately gain powerful skills and max stats as many times as there are change seals? Also, I know the game has been out for a few days now, but is there any conclusive information on actual wi-fi battles, and not this CPU controlled Spot Pass crap?

When the group is about to enter the tower, the game allows you choose your 11 characters. However, I idiotically saved, and now, I can't take the skills off some of my characters, without taking them into the tower. Is there ANY way I can take these skills off? Any way I can manage them(There is no manage skills option)? Anyone know of a solution? Damn this game to hell if they won't let me take them off.

I'm sorry, I'm still a little confused. Can I own more than three? Last month, I bought three of each of brave swords and brave bows. This month I was unable to buy more brave swords because they did not show up in the wifi shop. However, I was able to buy brave lances and braves axes.

Hello all. I was just wondering about wi-fi shop brave weapons. Are you only allowed to own three max on one file for each weapon? I thought I missed the brave swords three weeks ago, but today I can't get brave bows either. It's really a big disappointment.

I was actually looking a few pages back, and I saw a thread where people put Micaiah through a Mary Sue test. If I recall correctly, there was a HUGE discrepancy inbetween scores of certain users. I remember the haters of Micaiah would of course check her off in the department of "hair-color" and "talking to animals." Honestly, did those users even read the in-game script? Did they not realize they are playing a FE game, or for that matter, an asian game, where everyones hair is differently colored? Honestly, some players have so much bias, but just don't hide it very well. If I remember correctly though, a non-biased user scored her and got her somewhere in the low 40's, which is not a total Mary Sue.

All the hate for Micaiah on this forum seems to stem from peoples belief of her being a Mary Sue. While Micaiah does portray characteristics of a Mary Sue, she isn't as much of a Mary Sue as most people make her out to be. As one poster previously pointed out, Micaiah has several flaws. Hell, IS purposely put her under several trials and tasks that did not have outcomes the player would normally look favorably upon. However, Micaiah acted upon what she felt was right. Let's compare her to Ike though. Whenever Ike had to make a decision, he always chose the moral one. The right one. He's your typical outspoken hero with good intentions. He even gets blue hair, which is only atypical of lord characters and Ragnell. He's the one who HAS to finish off Ashera. Micaiah doesn't even get her own endgame weapon. The Dawn Brigade, which is feautured on the cover of FE10, is supposed to be the main group. But their story is snatched away by the Greil Mercenaries. Even the Greil Mercenaries get better growths than their Dawn Brigade counterparts. Honestly, if the Dawn Brigade was the main team in FE9, the Greil Merc's would probably be in the posistion of the Dawn Brigade now. Enough about that though, I'm getting off topic. Micaiah has many qualities that one can classify as a Mary Sue, but really, isn't that all part of her role? She was born to be the future empress of Begnion, therefore, she inherits many traits that come along with being the firstborn child. Yune came to her, and she recieved her mind-reading abilities from being Heron branded. She can talk to Yune because Yune is a goddess. And Yune possesses Micaiah because she is the future Begnion Empress. The Black Knight and Sephiran try their best to protect her because of her blood. Really, it's just something that comes along with the whole package. While I'm at it, Fire Emblem of course has a diverse cast of characters, each with their unique hair color. Silver is honestly no different from blue. Besides, hair color is a distinguishing trait in the Fire Emblem universe, which is why some characters can be refered to by their hair color. Finally, Micaiah doesn't exactly have amazing growths that are a trend for main characters. If she had higher speed, I'd be more inclined to agree she is Mary Sue, but she doesn't. Nonetheless, she isn't a horrible unit, but she can dish out large doses of damage and is very handy for her psuedo-healing capabilities in Tier 1 and her actual healing in T-2 and T-3. Don't get me wrong, she does show these traits, just not to the point where everyone is screaming Mary Sue. The hard decisions she has to make actually sets her apart form previous lordlings and makes her quite an interesting character.

Makes sense I suppose. It IS usful knowing where enemy reinforcements pop out too in lunatic, which allows you to plan ahead. Also I was reading MJEmirzian's lunatic mode, and something crossed my mind. I know Marth has a 395% total which means 3-4 stats per level, but is that only applicable during the arena? Could I otherwise gain perfect level ups on the battlefield through resetting? Also, if it is only for arenas, does that mean both preparation arena and the battlefield arenas? Or is only for the preparation arena?

Damn, I was really hoping I'd be wrong there. Whatever happened to the FE7-FE9 support system? Nonetheless, thanks for confirming. I might post more questions later, but right now, my wifi team is looking real good. Thanks for all your help!

Ah, I see. That is a great thing to know. I'd gladly sacrifice lifesphere for the geosphere and starsphere. Honestly, I'm not going to enforce my morals upon you, but I'll gladly give you my opinion. Sure hacking gives pleasure to the user, but I'm pretty sure that all people who use a hacked team on wifi will always have a nagging doubt in the back in their mind that they never really won. If you want a max stat team, plan it out before hand, spend the time on it, and you will achieve that sense of euphoria knowing that you did a job well done. Ah thank you! An exact list of the number of stat boosters. That'll be of great help. 8 Talismans, 8-9 Energy Drops/Draco Shields, and 9 for the rest. This will be of great help! Thank you for also listing the four options I have. I don't mind missing the braves since they are supplied over wifi. And honestly, starlight won't really help on wifi, no? Considering that most hackers will now have the invincible Imhullu/darksphere combo. Also, I have yet another question. I'm trying to determine which units I want to use that are support compatible. I noticed on the support list that while Barst can support with Ogma, Ogma doesn't support with Barst? Does this mean if Ogma is standing by Barst, only Barst would gain the support bonus? It's the same with my unit. Every unit supports with him, yet he only supports with a handful of men. Does this mean they all get bonuses and my unit does not except when he is by the units he can support with?

By the sounds of it, FE12 lunatic far surpasse that of FE11 H5. I myself am a casual player that enjoys easier runs than the hader ranked ones. In fact, FE11 H5 mode is the only highest difficulty Fire Emblem I have ever completed. I would gladly trade with you, haha. Normally, I would take my time going through a difficulty of this caliber, but those preparation stat boosters is something I desperately need for wifi. Just playing through lunatic sounds like an even greater pain than H5, where you could at least take hundreds of turns of careful waiting, attacking and abusing.

Oh. That's disappointing. I was browsing through the FE12 section and I noticed that the lifesphere is recieved from a village. Is it possible NOT to visit the visit? I know you already said I'd have to sacrifice either the lightsphere or geosphere, but I'm just wondering. Incidentally, I know it's theoretically impossible to lose the any one of the spheres, like giving one to a character and killing them, ext. But what if your convo was full(200/200)? Wouldn't that get rid of it?

My bad, I misread AstraLunaSol's previous post mentioning this. It's disappointing that you cannot get both the starsphere and geosphere, but I'm assuming you can get the shards and the geosphere? In your personal opinion, which of the two would you choose? With the shards, stats can be distributed and geosphere has the critical bonus. With the starsphere, you can pile it all onto one character, but you lose geosphere. Nonetheless, a 32 speed Horseman/Berserker/Swordmaster quadrupling a berserker sounds very nice. Incidentally, does this make Marth worth more consideration considering he is no longer naturally doubled?
