    ah, i'm late with this post. It would have been a crime if it hadn't. May be if I had watched it, I would agreed with that general sentiment, but I didn't really watched anything this season. But, if the op is anything to go by (and people say it does), than may be I would also be in agreement. I agree that most of the shows in the list where probably the best or most memorable, so I'll just accept the general opinion of the masses on this one. Personally, there's at least two shows, one which I think was completely underappreciated, and one which I think wasn't appreciated enough: Alderamin in the Sky and Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash; likely both would have been in my top 5 of the year. Also, I'm liking my new avi a lot more than I thought and of course HAPPY NEW YEARS! ...let's hope it will not be as miserably terrible as it seems to want to be.

    Anything is anime of the year compared to that, honestly The top 10 votes where to the following (out of 19560 voters): Yuri on Ice! - 7400 votes RE:Zero - 5422 votes Mob Psycho - 4405 votes My Hero Academia - 4020 votes ERASED - 3991 Haikyu! S3 - 3058 JOJO's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable - 2248 KonoSuba - 1858 Assassination Classroom - 1834 votes Bungo Stray Dogs - 1811 votes You can see there the difference between top two/four shows and pretty much everything else. Personally I though Re:Zero would win it, and it may have if Yuri had come out earlier in the year. Everything in the list I can more or less understand, except the Yuri, Erased, and Bungo Stray Dogs (which I suspect is another example of being in the last season of the year). what ever do you mean c:

    I'm inclined to think the same, I think people would have evaluated it differently if it had come earlier on the year, say, spring or summer. Right now it's the most recent stuff they watched on a season were I personally didn't see much interesting (I mean, Keijo! is probably it's closest competition), so I think the bias is pretty strong there... But I did like the op.

    people voted Yuri on Ice! anime of the year over at ANN....I suspect a lot of this has to do with the fact that it's from the last season of the year, meaning it's fresh in your mind when you get down to voting...that gives it a lot of impact...I didn't watch it, so I don't know what to say about it, but that opening theme was actually great imo, so I'll just go with it....the other votes didn't surprised me too much, some shows I agree with others I didn't watch and can't comment, but it seems there was a general agreement on the top few spots...
