^Another work that I'll recommend probably is Ono Fuuyumi's Juuni Kokki/ Twelve Kingdom - which I think has been translated to English? It's a bit like Romance of Three Kingdom-esque type of story, which I think is pretty good. Then again, if you're into Chinese classic literature, Romance of Three Kingdom and Water Margin are a must, I think.
  2. I think BeoxLache is pretty popular because he's the easiest one to pair with her and her kids turn out decent? I think it'll be pretty hard to make Delmud and Nanna to be in par with other broken characters, and no matter who you pair Lachesis with her kids will always be decent. Finn!Delmud dodges a lot (at least in my game) which makes him quite durable, but his attack is still pitiful compared to others and...yeah.
  3. Stat wise, in my game Prayer saves Delmud's ass tons of times - Prayer makes Delmud a much more durable unit (at least, in my game). Stickin Finn with Lachesis doesn't hinder Finn's leveling for me because I always stick him with a Elite Ring (and since he only needs it around 1 chapter). Since I think Delmud won't ever match the broken units, Finn's probably the best father you can get for him...? Other than that, I just like Finn x Lachesis storyline wise...

Maybe you would want to try Natsume Soseki's and Haruki Murakami's works, which are fairly easy to get access to. If you can get Kanbayashi Chohei's Hadae no Shita (Under the Skin) too, I'll recommend that one too. I've been reading Gollding's Lord of the Flies - I'm tons behind classic literatures, plus Toshokan series by Hiro Arikawa.
  5. Thank you! I'll definitely check around at times :D

  6. It might be my bad-playing style, but most of the time I fail getting Knight Ring. The 3 Nodion Knights's AIs are a bit infuriating, since they have the tendency to charge everything in their range and as the result, usually they get ambushed by the enemies. Because in most of my gameplays I try to train Lachesis as soon as possible, usually I tend to bring Lachesis upfront to steal some exp (as well pairing her with Finn - so Finn won't be rendered useless if I make him stay back with Lachesis) - this makes the knights to reach the enemies range and so, yeah. Advice, please?
  7. I think 2nd gen pairings are more based on preferences, since it won't get you much stats boost? Either you make it by preference or try to get ones that will net you lovers dialogue. My only difference with your list is that I pair Fee with Arthur. They have more dialogues, and a bit more canon in a sense, I think (though pairing them will take patience because the big gap between Arthur's and Fee's movement). A-and also Celice x Julia, if you want
  8. I think my ever favorite is this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hc0m0TXSGo The others are...I think, Serial Experiment LAIN's Duvet by Boa (not that KPop singer), and Blood+ last OP, Raion by Jinn.
  9. I'm using my old computer, so my wallpaper has been long since changed :
  10. I'm not offended. I'm sorry if my previous post sounded like that. But really, Gintama is pretty easy to rewatch even if you don't have much free time because you don't have to watch it one after one episode to follow the storyline. The arcs are pretty short too, so yeah. Yes! I think it's quite fast for Sunrise to pull this out, since they only take 1 year hiatus after all. Plus the movie DVD's coming out just a few weeks more, which means hopefully we'll get to watch it pretty soon
  11. It's Indonesian. Lots of vocabs are pretty similar, but in practice that's not the case. A lot of vocabs in Indonesian also exist in Melayu, but usually the meaning is totally different. On everyday conversation, we use pretty different vocabs and grammar though (informal/local language if you may call it).
  12. I didn't say I rewatch the whole series, did I? Besides, drawing such a conclusion from a mere statement sounds more like an assumption. (And besides, I'm not rewatching some series like Bleach/Naruto/Inuyasha/[insert Anime Title Here] that has like, 400++ episodes and still ongoing (except Inuyasha).

Currently reading Brave Story by Miyuki Miyabe, and close to finishing Mockingjay of the Hunger Games Trilogy, and Mata Hari by Remi Silado.
  14. Huh? Why did you come to this conclusion? Gintama has ended for quite some time after all, and there's no new anime that's quite the same like Gintama. (And I'm not re-watching the entire series)
  15. Rosetta Stone is pretty helpful, but if you're completely beginner, you can try using smart.fm . It'll introduce you to several basic words, as well as hiragana, katakana and kanji.
  16. I speak mainly Bahasa and English. I'm taking course on Chinese for several years until now, but it's still nowhere perfect.
  17. I'm watching Shinrei Tantei Yakumo. The anime quality pales a lot compared to the novel/manga, but it's a good source to know the novel spoilers, I guess. Rewatching Gintama because I can't wait until the movie DVD to be released in December...
  18. ^ Which is why in all my playthroughs, Azel, Tiltyu, Tinny, Arthur, Dew and Patty remains in pretty low level. I heard that they are pretty rocking once they promoted, but it's such a chore. I tried training Arthur once, the result is usually all the enemies start targeting him, or he moves to slow to match other units. I would considering stealing kills, but I rather giving my kills to units like Leaf so that he can promote to Master Knight as soon as possible...
  19. One question, are there some easy ways to train mages and thieves (except overpowered characters like Levin and Sety) other than stealing kills every single time? My main problem is that their moves are so little, that by the time they reach the enemy area the mounted and other foot units already mob out the enemy batches. They can't be put up in front because they're so weak and hardly dodges. And I do consider giving them leg rings, but then again leg rings are pretty rare, and I prefer giving the only leg ring I have to Levin/Sety to make them more efficient... Any suggestions?
  20. ^ I see. I'll definitely try MidirAideen on my next playthrough then.. My first time playing gets me to pair JamkaAideen because unpromoted Midir is quite weak, not to mention he dodges rarely and has quite weak defense. Jamka on the other hand dodges 90% of the time, abuses Pursuit and Continue like it's nobody business and practically kills everything in his sight with his Killer. My Lester is still pretty good (though admittedly, not as good as Jamka).

    Hello!

Shadow Dragon huh? I see, I'll definitely try that, right after I'm out from Thrachia 776 hell... Thank you for the welcome! (Eh, I'm not aware that Genealogy is pretty popular now...)
  22. Can't wait for P2 IS for PSP~

    Hello!

Hello everyone! I happen to stumble upon Fire Emblem series when one of my friend flailed a lot about Seisen no Keifu, and so I gave it a try. And I definitely did not regret it :D (and Seisen remains to be my favorite FE, so...) I look forward staying in the forum! :D
  24. For me, Finn is quite easy to train. He's pretty durable, only because he dodges a lot once his HP is near critical. Slap him with an Elite Ring if you can afford it - I manage to get him to Duke Knight before chapter 3 (he leaves my party in gen 1 at around level 25, making him pretty solid in a certain chapter in gen 2). And yes, about the Hero Lance, if you do pair him (I do suggest pairing him with Lachesis, because I think prayer is pretty good skill for her kids...?), make sure to sell it before he leaves. If you missed selling it, I think you can still get the lance in chapter 8. I do want to argue about AideenJamka though. This pairing is still pretty good, weapon wise (and with JamkaBrigidd in mind). JamkaBrigidd will result with Faval getting both Ichival and Hero Bow, which is a bit overkill. Lester definitely can do great in early chapters with Killer Bow and Hero Bow in tow, and his accuracy is actually decent, if not good.
