Oh, absolutely. As long as all the characters have strong voice acting, I would be all for it. To me, Echoes showed that they can actually pull it off, so I see no reason to not fully voice the game. The voices really weren't that bad. Obviously some weren't as good as others, but I think I can definitely say there was no "bad" voice acting in Echoes, at least. (Definitely were some questionable voices in like, Fates. @Siegbert and others. Maybe Awakening too? idk, I don't remember them that well lol.)

People using the japanese spelling for Jagen really threw me off for a moment lol Also I'm with EdeaCreamer on weapon durability. I wasn't a fan of having negative side-effects for using certain weapons and would much rather have a more powerful weapon at the cost of having less usage of it. In Fates, I never touched Silver weapons at all, or a lot of the other weapons that have crappy side-effects. What's the point in using those when you can just forge a crap ton of iron weapons and make them just as good? Having no durability removes the uniqueness of the supposedly stronger and more rare items, at least, that's what I find to be the case.

My GBAs and Xbox 360. I just haven't played a GBA game on a while and the only ones I really play are Pokemon games on it. As for the Xbox, it's basically just a glorified Netflix machine. I don't actually play any games on it as most I also own on PC. The only games I'd play on it would be like, Halo or something. But idk, I don't care too much for it. I do care for my GBAs tho. <3 hearts for GBA <3

Tbh I'm not too big on the idea of more interactivity. I feel like it could easily get tedious having to be involved in all the battles and I'm also concerned about the potential removal of the options to turn animations off and to skip combat, which are very nice to have. I mean, normal FE maps already take me a good chunk of time to complete, I don't think I would have the patience or the time if it were to be extended by having battles take longer. If it were a spin-off, then sure. But main series? I'm inclined to say no.

I don't think that's accurate. I don't exactly see how FE has been turned into a "kiddie watered-down" version recently. Obviously Fates wasn't a (localization) masterpiece, but that wasn't strictly because of Treehouse. (Also, if we're talking about all recent FE games, I thought Echoes was great imo.) And as for Pokemon games, Gen VII is, in my opinion, way better than gens V and VI, so I mean, to each their own. Regardless, I don't think you can make an objective statement about this matter as you seem to be doing, as it certainly is a matter of subjective opinions. (Also I apologize for derailing the thread)

Anywaaaaaaaaaays a lot of things I don't want to see back in line-up with what Calico said earlier in their last post, so I won't repeat them here. Especially the whole "no more reincarnations" of previously made characters. (or that of the like) As much as I like severa, inigo, owain, tharja, and cordelia, (was that all of them?) I'd rather have had new characters in Fates and in future games than rehashing them out again. It's not that I necessarily find it lazy, it's just I really don't care about that kind of obvious fanservice of giving people their favorite characters in another (seemingly unrelated) game.

Will I get ostracized if I say I kind of want a fully functional skinship in the next FE game? I think it'd be funny since I never got to goof off with it in Fates. Granted it wouldn't happen considering there's no touchscreen on the Switch. I'll just imagine it lol. (Just on the side, but, why did everyone think it was super weird? Like, I'm not saying it's completely normal but I feel like people overreacted to it. If anything it's nothing more than funny.) Okay but seriously I want the magic triangle back for sure. I hope they don't do the weapon triangle like in Fates - I thought it was weird to include the ranged weapons in the way they did. I would prefer for their to be no children, not for the next game. I really need a break from them and I felt like they were done poorly and just for fanservice in Fates. Besides, I actually want development for 1st gen characters. I want to keep in supports, though I'm impartial on the marriage system. I'm also impartial on having an Avatar. If they're done well, then sure as I do like creating characters and it adds replay-ability, but if not, then no. As for the pair-up system, I think that worked well in Fates and was good. I wouldn't mind seeing it come back but I wouldn't be too upset if they scrapped it. I will say though, if they do end up adding an Avatar, then I want OPTIONS. Also I'd hope I can make a more adult-looking character like Build #3 in Awakening, except with decent hairstyles. Oh and maybe you could change skin tone. That'd be cool too. EDIT: Just realized this was specifically what you don't want to see. Meh. Too late now lol don't wanna edit this mess.

As for the poll, I'd hope to see Sword/Bow in any order. But personally, I'd rather to just be able to set my default class to something like in FE12.

lmao no tbh. They were fine in Awakening because plot and they had that whole time-travel theme. In Fates they were honestly just fanservice and how it's implemented really doesn't make much sense and it kinda just turned into a mess. I'd much rather have no children from here on out because I feel like we need a break from them and need to focus on more 1st gen characters.

For fun I've been making more rhythmically correct lyrics for TMS songs (At least trying to make them better, which I've done to songs like Black Rain, Beastie Game and Dream Catcher) and I was able to do this because I was able to find either official English translations for those songs or fan translated lyrics for them. Recently I tried to find official/fan-translated English lyrics for the song "Give Me!" from TMS, but have not been able to find any and instead, only the full Romaji lyrics. Basically I was wondering if anybody would either A. give a basic translation for me to go off of or B. tell me the easiest way I can translate it myself so I don't need to take up others' time. Any help would be appreciated. I just really want to know the rest of the lyrics since this is probably one of, if not my favorite songs in the game. Romaji Lyrics:

Top tier voice acting. There weren't any characters who's voice I hated, although Catria's was a little more bland than I would've liked. (I thought she would've been a little more soft-pitched and have had more emotion.) My personal favorites are probably; Alm, Celica, Mae, Claire, Berkut, Delthea, Saber, Leon, Est, Fernand and Shade (DLC). So like... a lot of the cast lol. I really do hope the FE for the Switch and future FE games will continue to be fully voiced - it really does make the game much more enjoyable, especially when all the VAs do a fantastic job.

Over a FE mobile game? I mean, play the game how you want to play but I find that an extremely odd thing to do, specifically as retaliation to the gauntlet results. ANYWAYS, I'm glad Shanna won. I thought she was pretty cool in Binding Blade and I liked to use her, so, good for her. I honestly thought Takumi would've won because he's a lord character and he's from Fates, but nope! So that was a pleasant surprise. Nice to see older FE characters do indeed stand a chance. I'm also glad I just choose to support characters I like rather than who I think will win. Makes it much more enjoyable. And you know what? If the character I like doesn't win, it's fine. It's just a free mobile game and it will never be worth the effort to complain about something like this.

Awww, that's pessimistic. I wouldn't exactly discount the idea ever happening by any means. :p I guess we'll have to wait and see. Who knows? Maybe the FE game for the Switch will star an older protagonist. THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS.

I mean, to be fair they've had plenty older characters start in base-classes at low levels before, but I get what you mean lol. Hmmmm, what KIND of beard? Also if the lord is female will they still have said beard? ;O

First off, why are fanbases for certain characters suddenly a common thing now (in terms of specific FE characters)? Second off I'd avoid grouping people off like this entirely, otherwise you'll end up just as toxic as the smash community is over their "reps." Personally I think the best thing to do for those who are concerned about this game is to wait for the rest of the roster to be revealed. Who knows, it may be pleasantly surprising.

My original thought was that they would be older than that seeing as we already have existing lords around those ages in the series. I feel like if they were at least 25+ (around there) then that would give different and more story options to work with. Ah, I apologize if you feel that way. Although when I say "older" I more mean older than what we currently have in stock. Don't worry, 25 is plenty young, haha. I assume you mean you'd choose to play as either an older or a younger lord? Either way that could be a good idea.
