    Hello

I just read the rules, thank you. Got my first mod after necroposting, so I figured I ought to do that.

    Hello

Hi, everyone. I'm Heptade (real name Laurent) from Montreal, Quebec. Huge fan of all things Fire Emblem, progressive rock, David Lynch movies, literature in general, amongst other things. I'm an aspiring writer (I co-wrote a play which was performed in a professional theater in Montreal and had some moderate success, now working on my first novel), now studying to become a translator (English to French). That's pretty much it. Sorry if my English is awkward, I usually write exclusively in French... Anyway, nice meeting you guys! (Yeah, I like Knoll. Sorry to disappoint you already.)
  3. Sacred Stones: Just a bit too easy on hard mode. The fact that either Selena or Glen will die off-screen depending on which route you choose. The fact that Glen is never fought and dies like a wimp against Valter. Franz always getting RNG-screwed when I use him.
  4. I've had a Wil with Defense worthy of a General. He was kind of slow, but he tanked like a boss. I've also had a Soren in Radiant Dawn who maxed every stat except Strength.
  5. I'm from Quebec, and the desire to preserve the French language and the Québécois culture is a big part of who I am. Although I see culture as something to be built for the future with intercultural exchanges (without ever forgetting our history or our language), rather than the conservative isolationism (aka living in the past) that "patriots" from any country will praise. I don't hate Canada. It is a wonderful country. It just feels... foreign to me. And so does France... I love to travel, and I love to learn about foreign cultures. If I were to move in another country, I would make great efforts to become part of their culture, while never betraying my Quebec roots (I would make sure my children could speak French and know about Quebec, etc.) Still, part of what I'm saying is somewhat hypocritical of me, I guess, since I have some Native American ancestry (and really look the part), yet don't speak a word of the dying language of my ancestors, and know very little about their culture (I'm not even 100% sure which Nation they were from). Their language is far more endangered than French, and I feel like I'm the living example of its gradual disappearance... Sorry if my syntax is awkward, my English is not that good...
