Game might be called FE: Mutiny, and we might be getting a TMS: Definitive Edition.
-
Unbearable.
-
A return to the boring, bland, Pre-Awakening style.
-
By the by?
Something that I'd find strange is the fact that, well, if this was true, then we'd be getting ANOTHER Day/Night theme right in a row.
-
So.
How about those DLC support convos?
-
Man.
I wanted to hear more about the busty waifu's.

Xenoblade 2 goes way too far it becomes cringe worthy. The game is basically a manual on what not to do.
Nah.
It's a manual of how to succeed at life.

In Xenoblade there was quite a large amount of "meat" on many of the females, especially the party members. X's JP version allowed you to change the bust size of your avatar. Xenoblade 2 had massive assets and camera focus on said assets during cutscenes.
Xenoblade 2 is truly glorious in that regard.

This isn't exactly news, but it's nice to get some confirmation.

Lethality will likely just be one of his specials, or his skill. The generic archer movset is the same as the playable archers, so Niles will likely have the same moveset.
Also, it makes perfect since for Owain to have Lightning powers. Remember how good his magic is?
Proof that they'll just be clones in the DLC?
-
M-MAID CAMILLA?!?!?!?!?
NOHRIAN PRINCE CORRIN?!?!?!?!?
POSSIBLE HINTS THAT NILES COULD HAVE A UNIQUE MECHANIC, ALLOWING ME TO THROW THIS IN THE MORONS ON THE INTERNET THAT THOUGHT THAT THE DLC CHARACTERS WOULD BE CLONES' FACES?!?!?!?!?!
BUTLER TAKUMI?!?!?!?!?!
Thank you, Koei Techmo.
This truly is a perfect game.

As long as they use their own source material and not borrowing some from any manga writers they'll be fine they have to use what works for a character to their best.
It wasn't the manga writers fault.
IS went against what he wrote. The world he made is cool. IS just didn't know what to do with it.

January is obviously the safest bet since Awakening, Fates and SoV were teased then it's pretty much tradition at this point.
Did we REALLY get that SoV direct in January?
Damn. Time really flies.

Oh I'm doubtful this is real, too, but it's still an interesting discussion to drum up hype for the upcoming game, even if we officially know nothing other than it's a main series title and on the Switch.
They initially said early 2018, but Echoes wasn't officially announced until a few months before it was released, and currently Odyssey along with 2017's incredible gaming catalogue is plenty to push the Switch this holiday season. The choice to wait to January puts out something shiny for all the new Switch players to look forward to.
Like I said:
A Direct is likely coming in January, or New Years Eve.

Both Heroes and Warriors used the old one; honestly, it's probably one of the more believable parts of all this.
Warriors didn't.
Warriors used the Fates triangle, minus the daggers.

I could definitely see a late December/Early January Direct happening, to give us a more solid idea of what games/amiibo's we'll be getting for 2018.
-
Fighter Red.
Use Fighter Red.

They're just mad.
They're also downvoting people who want kids to return into oblivion.
What a bunch of babies.

If this leak turns out to be true I wonder if one of the moonshifter tribes would be recruitable on the human side. It could make sense that the dragons were allied with the humans like in other games.
Probably not the wolves.

I believe both Gundam Warriors and Pirate Warriors had sequels released a single year after the first; does that diminish Dragon Quest? No.
You're correct, by the by.
Gundam Warriors 2 came out one year after Gundam Warriors 1.
If I'm remembering right, they announced Pirate Warriors 2 not long after Pirate Warriors 1 released in the West.
Also, to answer your question: I saw the "NEXT GAME NEEDS TO HAVE EVERYONE" garbage on YouTube and Nintendo Everything, mostly.

Except it has? Ronde killed the Majin Tensei subseries because it sold about as bad as TMS did. And, as Jedi said, a sequel depends entirely on Nintendo, who has some strict sales expectations.
Atlus HAS had the tendency to make sequels to games that didn't exactly do too hot, sales wise, though.
They did this with Devil Survivor.

It's kind of a no brainer that they won't include every game even in a second game, I don't really see much of a point of this threads existence.

I agree with everyone that says Micaiah and Corrin. For the same reasons too. Though I like Micaiah and female Corrin's designs (mostly).
All the female lords barring Celica are meh or terrible to me too, mainly because they always get shoved aside in the story for male lords and it winds up hurting their writing. Celica, I'm not familiar enough with to make an opinion on.
Roy also seems very boring and a pretty bad unit until he gets his fire sword at the end. Who decided he should wait to promote until the second to last chapter? Seriously?
Dude, Celica is so not an exception.
She's awful.
