    I mean, Naga is meta-impactful in AR. She’s the only Mythic right now that can boost your offense score during Astra season. For that reason alone she’s pretty good.

    FGO is getting pretty old. But it won't be dying anytime soon. From what I've heard, it takes several months to design new servants. But May has had a lot of padding compared to this time last year. I'm itching for new content soon.

    Amen to that. After almost a year of being inactive, I started following a guy who regularly makes top 1k in AR without spending a single cent. Managing resources is very important. There are a lot of units I’d like to get, but almost none of them are impactful; they won’t improve my score in competitive modes, they won’t help me in Abyssals...stuff like that. Skipping banners and just rolling with free summons becomes so much easier when you look at it that way. It also means I get to have more resources saved for units I like, which is a plus. I had 883 orbs saved up by the time Naga’s banner dropped. It took 505 to get 2 copies of her. If I remember correctly that’s below average luck, and other people have spent more than me for one or no copies. But that’s not much of an excuse to not maximize your chances at pulling important units. If I had rolled every bait banner earlier this year I’d probably have 100 orbs and only gotten a Brave Hector or something. Instead, I’m set to do well in AR without spending any money.

    I’d recommend saving for either July or August if you care about improving your score in AR and AB. Otherwise, the fodder in Red is all good and worth using orbs on.

    Agartha is infamous for having Megaros, who you fight multiple times. In the first few fights, you only need to proc Guts four times to beat him. You don’t need to burn through every stack. His charge attack is an AOE, but he can also inflict a taunt debuff on an ally. If this happens, he will use a powerful ST attack the next turn, so pop an invuln on them if you can. Jeanne Alter is far and away the best servant for this singularity. She melts Megaros with ease and is your best option for handling the Ruler Demon pillar, who has 1.6 million effective HP if you brute force it at class disadvantage. Get her from support, and pair her with Mash and your best support servant. The fight with Colombus and Megaros is pretty easy. Just don’t break the former’s gauge until Megaros is dead. Nothing else sticks out for sheer difficulty compared to Megaros though.

    I would actually run an HP-boosting slot A skill on Kaden. If I’m reading his weapon’s description correctly, he won’t be able to give buffs to allies if he gets Panic’d. This is also helpful in AR so you don’t need to position awkwardly around Panic Manors. DC is your best bet if she’s just being used in general. You can make the most out of her Breath’s stat-stacking by countering from any range. Tack on Iote’s Shield and she can bulk bows easily too. Otherwise, Bond skills with Fury is your next-best option.

    Most people are going to use Naga for boosting score during Astra season. In AR there are better options for tanking than Naga: ones who lack no weaknesses, are immune to buffs, can counter against firesweep, or some combination of the three. That's the context for my response. In that sense absorbing chills and giving dragon effectiveness to dismantle certain defense teams is the most Naga will be doing. As for general use, it's DC or bust. Stacking lots of stats on a melee unit that can't counter isn't very good. Lightning Breath with Bonus Doubler like most dragons is also good.

    Naga is a support unit. Anything that gives visible stats is ideal for her if you lack DC. This lets her soak Chills in place of your main unit. I’d go with Fury.

    Celica + 3 Dancers dominated as usual. Units used: Been using Celica for recent Abyssals since the “f2p” guides are getting more and more difficult to replicate. Imagine leveling Brazen Atk Res when you can have Spd instead, am I right? Leanne has Res +1 to dodge the Ploy from the Blue Flier, letting her take some hits. Her and Young Azura chipping the blues was crucial for Celica to finish them off. Fun MHB overall.

    Abby / Jeanne / Merlin is notably a slow but very stable comp that you can take into the majority of CQs. You laugh at card damage and enemy buffs. Qin is probably better if you absolutely must not get hit by enemy cards, but Abby is a better DPS. I remember when people said Jeanne Berserker was worse than Penth. That gives me a chuckle every now and then.

    I finished the ladder yesterday, but I’m still chipping away at the shop. There was a 6 day gap between the Rashomon and Onigashiama reruns. Or maybe it will be like NA last year

    Is this your first time doing the event? 3M is really easy to farm once you get the Carp CEs from the ladder.

    You don’t need Arash. He’s just there for clearing Wave 1 regardless of card draws. He is an option for clearing the hands though, alongside a ST servant. Just overcharge his NP. My setup for 3M is Kintoki / Jeanne Lily / support Waver / Merlin. With three Carps I get a consistent 2 Turn. That leaves two slots for gourd CEs. ... After farming over 100M DP yesterday, I’m only at 138M now.
