  1. Ike always had the mercenaries at his disposal, and he got it after Greil died; Ike was always something.and he grew to become a better leader, and that's really it to him. If you instead have a lord who grew up in a poor village and was of a race of people that are somewhat discriminated against, but he managed to make it all the way to the position of King of the kingdom he once grew up in the suburbs of, that tells you something. That tells you this guy did not play around when he was on the path to conquest, if you get to work with such a king you'll see his ruthless tactics, unending cruelty, but also you'll get to see a good man despite everything he does. That to me sounds like a very interesting journey, and it could make a great game with a pretty special, dramatic and entertaining story.
  2. I imagine it would be hard to make an avatar with multiple variations in personality and dialogue as options, so I think a default type of avatar that represents qualities that everyday people want to hone themselves. I think a avatar who has unique descent would be a perfect way to try and set up this sort of character. Your avatar is from the "the Outrealms" and has special transcendental powers that make him a special unit, maybe with his own cosmic axe named Radeon, or whatever xP. Anyways this avatar could be customized anyway, in terms of body-type, skin-tone, hair-color...etc. This character is only for the first time learning about the world of humans up close so he is very open-minded and understanding of the people he meets and the situations he faces (unlike a certain an MU).
  3. Nero Lionheart Vanguard Ike Shigure
  4. I managed to get Camus faster than many other Grand Hero Battles, and I have shit units. Honestly these Grand Hero Battles are jokes as long as you have a 4 star unit that can slightly counter everything and a glass canon unit to slay with, sometimes a good Wary Fighter Tank helps as well.
  5. In my first set of orbs I luckily got a Bridal Cordelia, but she is -Atk and +Spd. How do I spec this Cordelia?
  6. Sometimes I wonder how Bride is even a fighting class that you take out to war.
  7. I would like for there to be an actual FE lord who came up from nothing, like a Great Gatsby, Edmund Dantes type of character. I have an idea for this sort of a character, and I have a backstory that I made-up for him too, but I won't say it in this post. The reason I want that kind of a lord is because he could affect the plot greatly by adding darker more meaningful themes to a Fire Emblem story. I understand that some people may think that "that's not really what FE games are supposed to be about", but really it doesn't matter. FE has always tried to push the boundaries of its games, and having a darker FE game wouldn't be the worst thing ever, right? Especially if we can make it serious, dramatic and impactful, as we play a game with even better and more enjoyable mechanics. Now how would a FE lord that came up from nothing affect the plot of the game? Well, if an FE lord that came up from nothing had to take cruel measures, and learn so much to be at the top, then he could be a interesting character who takes different plans and choices then any other FE lord from any other game, affecting the plot greatly. I'll talk more about what I mean by this eventually, but this is all I have to say for now.
  8. That's why it seems to strange to me why the various lords have their small bandwagon of units going secretly into castles to fight the other lord or mastermind enemy. Pretty much. It doesn't even make sense why Alm is entitled to lead them when they literally know nothing about him other than that he's the grandson of the legendary Mycen. The deliverance must've been going pretty down hill if Alm could just take leadership like that when granted it by Clive, which from conversations with Clive showed that the deliverance wasn't even at that bad of a level to begin with. Which from this logically speaking makes me think Clive is mentally ill and tired beneath his cheerful to mildly happy demeanor, but before that we can call PIS on the story.
  9. That's the thing with FE games, the lords almost for some reason never seem to have hundreds of ally pawns and knights to aid them in huge wars and important battles, hundreds of flashbacks from Awakening arise when I think about this too. I wish sometimes that to be a little bit more realistic in the FE Games, the developers would put a couple of enemy-fodder ally green units on the corners of your side of the map to aid you in combat, so that when you have battles with your main units it actually looks a little bit like how a battle in war should be. Also I wish that they would add some context that tells you there is a war between entire armies occurring somewhere else away from the special group of units that you control.
  10. Yeah, I feel if they had given Alm some notable feat that he accomplished earlier on when he was only beginning to enter the field of combat, then it would've made more sense for Clive to promote him as leader of the Deliverance instead of just assuming that as the assumed grandson of the legendary Mycen he must be a prodigy. Sometimes its okay to make a newbie character a little bit more of a badass, just not anywhere near Kirito-level, otherwise it would then just be stupid.
  11. MU wouldn't make sense on a game that is literally tied around the problems of only two main characters. Adding an MU would not allow for a decent or the same story to be told, without actually making the MU a relevant and interesting character, who plays an important part of the story. Some of you might say ",what if the MU doesn't have to be an important character, but instead just someone to aid Alm and/or Celica?" That would be literally the worst idea ever for an MU because no one would want to play or want a character that has absolutely no relevancy to the story, but still manages to play an important part in combat and is the main PoV for the player in the game. Also what's the point of having an MU that probably won't be that customizable or diverse. It'll probably as limited as Fates or Awakening.
  12. Just look at the other lords they have virtually have no feats on par with Ike. Ike had to work from the ground up to defeat legions of armies and eventually a god. He can solo his own part of a game as well unlike a lot of other lords, and all this combined has made Nintendo want to make him insanely powerful. Through Awakening we know that Ike is a legendary and powerful warrior whether it be through lore, DLC's or through the impressiveness of his descendant. In Fates we know Ike is insanely powerful because of his talk with Corrin. In Ike's conversation with Corrin he say's he's fought all types on enemies in Corrin's world, but they all proved unworthy of his attention, but in his own world worthy opponents, who are far stronger would always be around to fight Ike, and even then Ike still beats such foes. I think it's pretty much considered that Ike is a god of the FE lords.
  13. So? That still doesn't mean that Veld is objectively better than all the other FE final bosses. I agree it just means Veld is unique that's all.
  14. That's literally the worst thing you could do to Saizo, your stronger ninja.
  15. Best lord in terms of personality, story, and sense of character has to be... Eliwood or Lucina.
  16. This should be a pinned topic with a poll because it's got to be the one of the most asked and debated topics in FE. Edit: Nevermind it's starred.
  17. I brought the Brithright version of the game for default because of Ryoma's epic style (and also because of Takumi's hair). In terms of who would win based on feats from cut scenes and story in the game. Ryoma seems to have way more agility than Xander, and plus Xander has weakness since he is on a horse. In terms of who would win vs each other with max stats and in their primary classes, I would have to say Xander if luck favors him and since his defense would be way too high for Ryoma.
  18. What's the point when you're going to only be limited to a Caucasian and/or light-skinned Asian looking dude or girl, with crap hairstyles. The dude will either be lean or brolic, and the female will just be fit.
  19. It's a rated T game about war that doesn't even have any blood, that's what's slightly disappointing with the censorship placed in the FE games.
  20. Yes I meant Desperation lol. I prolly said Quick Riposte because I want it so bad! .-.
  21. @Kiran Thanks for the advice, and you're right; I should just go for it! Better to enjoy a solid all 5 star team while playing this game instead of just waiting for that right IV unit to build a team out of for months.
  22. Thanks for replying. I wanted to go with Michalis because I thought he was supper cool too at one point, but he's not the best of units to use; maybe he would be epic for a Wyvern(Flier) Emblem team, but I have a feeling Minerva might surpass him even at that. Dancers would also not really help me because my current golds are not that great in-terms of damage output due to bad IVs and partially "incorrect" skill set-ups. Anyways, I don't think I can make a good Horse Emblem team at the moment because I just don't have that many 5 star cavalry units, 4 star duplicates or enough feathers (only 42k) to build up such a team. However, I do still feel like Xander is a great choice, not only because he looks so epic, but also because of his high defense, mobility, and battle range, however, Reinhardt I think is superior, but it completely sucks that I don't have a +atk Reinhardt, and I'm worried if a neutral Reinhardt would be somewhat low-performance in arenas. A great player named Lushen said I should get up Male Robin, as a counter to colorless ranged units, but my Robin has crap IVs, so I had to reconsider everyday, and I'm still here stuck with more lob-sided options. I just want to know how negatively my IVs will affect my performance and abilities in arena if I decide to get with the set up that I have. At the moment with a team of Nino, Sanaki, Ephraim, and Gunter I have been able to just barely clutch the advanced battles, but I almost always end up losing units and getting a low score.
  23. I have peasant setup and I need a lot of help. My current gold status team is - def +res Nino, + def - res Sanaki, -HP + res Ephraim. I have a bad team and need a 4th member to make me be able to manage doing advanced arenas, who should I get or make my 4th gold for PvP? My current golds are: My current 4 stars are: I have many Bronze units for fodder, but no Hinata for Fury or Quick Riposte. What can I... should I do?
  24. Male Corrin to flirt with Azura because I can't marry her even though I should be able to. Also anyone wanna rate my avatar? ;')
