  1. Well... I guess you pointed out the main flaws with armor units, lol. To me the biggest problem was definitely low movement and crappy Spd, but then again that issue is somewhat fixed with the Wary Fighter skill. In Fates they were really good for pair up bonuses and Effie passed down good modifiers to her child, so there was that. I did end up making Effie a Great Knight because I had no patience for the low movement. If you don't mind buying skills from other castles, you could get the Mov+1 skill and then give them a pair of boots to increase to help them move more. I don't really know a way of helping their low Res stats other than with pair ups, but if you wanted to give a big middle finger to mages you could always put the Counter Magic skill on them so that mages would at least still hurt themselves, in addition to hurting your armor units. It could help you wipe out more mages so that they can avoid causing more damage to your units, given that they were able to survive a magic blow. There is also the skill Aegis which you could either buy or learn from the Paladin class that could help halve tome damage, but since it triggers based on the Lck of the unit they would likely have a hard time triggering it, although it could still help save them. I do agree that it would have been nice to have a skill like Paragon, because trying to train them up is like pulling teeth. If they did have a skill like that, I'm sure more people would rely on them.
  2. I wasn't taking those stats into consideration and was mainly thinking of her Mag stat, so I didn't think of that originally. To me, Orochi's best stats arguably are her Mag and Skl, which would both be higher than Felicia's, even though it's only by a point or so. I agree though that Orochi doesn't have many outstanding stats, so I guess Felicia could potentially function better than her. Rhajat's Skl can be fixed, depending on who you choose as her mother. It usually doesn't change too much but it's possible to make it not be completely horrible, since you could give her weapons with higher hit rates or the skill Certain Blow to help with that too. I ended up doing that and had her mom as Mozu, who helped add more Skl and Spd to her. In all honesty, all three would perform about the same, when you don't take into account who you have as Rhajat's mother and exclude bonuses from statues. Sakura is a really good unit and I think she's pretty flexible. I liked her using a bow in the Priestess class but in my recent playthrough, I decided to change things up and see how she was as a Swordmaster. It's a little bit different for sure than what most people do, but I wanted to experiment. It's been fun so far playing with her in that class. I think in the end she will end up having stats close to Hana's, but I think she will be better than Hinata. The only thing I really miss from having her as a Priestess is her outfit with the class, since it matched Mikoto's. But on the other hand, it is pretty hilarious watching her kick ass with a sword, lol. I agree that with Asugi it does depend on who the mother is, and I should have took that into consideration. Generally, I've seen Asugi as having more Mag than Kaze, who usually has really low Mag for me. In some cases he may have the same Mag as his dad, but it's usually higher by a couple of points. In that aspect, he is most hurt by Oboro who decreases it more than anyone else in Birthright, as far as I know, unless Saizo marries a F!Corrin with bane Mag. His Res is generally very close to Kaze's, with it only being a little bit lower. He also usually has very high Skl and is on par with his father, or in some cases surpasses him. The main thing with Asugi that is important with the mothers is how much Spd he ends up with, which is almost always a pretty high amount, unless his mom is Orochi, who makes it pretty abysmal. Because of all this, I guess Saizo would also be a good choice, since you get him earlier on in the game and don't have to worry about any modifiers from parents. I just wanted to offer someone else in the same class as Kaze who could maybe offer something different in some areas, and work as another Mag unit. I'm actually glad you pointed that stuff out because it made me think more and compare them more, so now I might have some new ideas for my game. Plus, it's always interesting to hear other thoughts on the matter. This is slightly off topic, but now I'm curious as to who you chose as Rhajat's and Asugi's mother, if you decided to get both kids. Like I said earlier, I chose Mozu as Rhajat's mother for the hair color but then she turned out to be pretty good. I initially chose Orochi as Asugi's mother for ship reasons, but I found out that it made Asugi pretty bad, lmao. When I played the game again, I instead made Sakura be his mom, which proved to be a much better decision.
  3. I don't really see a reason not to use them. Other than a little bit of a lower Mt than some of the other weapons, I don't see a downside. They can be really handy and it's quite fun to watch the characters demolish the enemies with them. They are pretty easy to obtain, as you said. I think you do generally get about 3 or 4 from each path, and maybe even more than that, if you do the Museum Melee DLC and happen to get some from it.
  4. I do the same thing, but I try not to do it too much. I still like having the challenges that come a long with not grinding, because it makes things more interesting and makes you have to think through situations more, but I also don't want my units to be too weak. I like to try to have a nice balance when playing. When the game is over with though, I tend to go back and build my characters up even more, not just because it bothers me if I don't, but because I actually enjoy it. Maybe that's a little bit weird, lol. I just have a lot of patience.
  5. My favorite path by far is Birthright. I have finally played all three paths and no matter what, my opinion hasn't budged since I first played the game. Perhaps I'm biased because Birthright was the first one I played, but I stand firm on that. Most people love the Nohrian characters, but I greatly prefer the Hoshidans over the Nohrians. They seemed to mesh together better and I just generally felt better connected to the characters. They were more enjoyable, and I liked nearly every character. With Conquest, I found myself not really caring for the supports and characters with that route. I didn't really like the attitudes that most of the Nohrians had, and they all just look so odd together. Story wise, I also preferred Birthright. It was the one I engrossed myself in the most, and I liked the way Corrin acted in this path. It felt as though Corrin actually made more sense in this path, and had more of a backbone. The rationale with Conquest was weak, and I disliked it the whole way through, pretty much. Revelation had its interesting moments, but there was so much lost potential with the story. I feel like the time spent in Valla was too little and that not enough information was given about it, especially since it was the mastermind behind the whole war in the first place. I will admit though that Birthright's gameplay was less engaging than Conquest or Revelation, with the repetitive "Route the enemy" goals in every chapter. If there is one thing that can be said for every path, it's that each one had an amazing soundtrack. That is one of my favorite things from Fates entirely. I still listen to the songs from the game because it was so damn good.
  6. Well for starters, I think your team lineup sounds pretty good. They're all pretty great units, though you might want to include one of the ninja, since they are great for bringing down stats and securing doubles on enemies. As for your questions: Mozu is a decent unit. It does take a lot of effort and patience put into her, but the end result for me has been great and I have a fun time playing with Mozu. Many people seem to make Mozu a Merchant or Sniper, but I love to play with her as a Master of Arms, because she uses multiple weapons and fills in that role for me because I didn't really have anyone in that class the first time I played the game. If you really want to make her great, and have a lot of patience and time on your hands, you can get her up to level 10, so that she will get all of the skills from the Villager class, and then reclass her into a Dread Fighter. I kept her in the Dread Fighter class long enough so that she could get the skills from it, namely Aggressor, and then reclassed her into a Master of Arms. But then again, that's assuming you have the Boo Camp DLC to grind up levels on, because it does take quite a bit of time and would not be fun to deal with if you are just getting EXP from regular battles. Felicia is okay. I will admit, I don't have much experience with her or Jakob, I really just cast them aside on my first playthrough. I'm doing another playthrough right now and I plan on either making Felicia a Hero or putting her in the Dark Falcon class, but I haven't decided. If you want more magic units, then she could also function decently as an Onmyoji, however I think she would most likely be outranked in that class by Orochi, Rhajat, or even Sakura, if you choose to put her in that class. Out of those four that you listed, Oboro and Silas are probably the best. Oboro has pretty great Str, Spd, and Def, so you may even want to consider using her in your game and putting her in your lineup. Silas is pretty balanced, which is a good thing in his case. He has good Spd and nearly even Def and Res, so he is quite flexible with the types of enemies you pit him against. Scarlet has a lot of Str and Def, but her Lck is a little bit low. It's not terrible, but it may cause her to miss more often or take more enemy crits than other units. She works best as a tank for battling blue units. Reina is useful when you first get her, but she slowly starts to derail when compared to others. She does have nice Skl, Spd, and Res, so she can be used to combat mages, if you choose to use her. But Hinoka would likely be better to fill in that role, and would work along nicely with your lineup. I used the ninjas throughout my game and loved it. Kaze is likely your best bet out of the three that you first get, because he has a lot of Spd and can probably double up on any enemy he faces. He also has a lot of Res, which can come in handy when there are maps with mages. As I said earlier, he can also help to cut down enemy stats when using a shuriken, and can help others bring down enemies if he is unable to do so. He also has the skill Poisen Strike, so he not only will be bringing down stats but will also bring down enemy HP. Asugi is also a viable option, because he not only has good Spd and Res, but he also generally has more Skl than Kaze and has more Mag, so he can use the Flame Shuriken effectively. The only problem with him is that it takes longer to get him than it does to get Kaze. Every unit comes with a personal skill that cannot be unequipped, but they also learn skills in every class based on their level. In unpromoted classes, I believe all skills are learned by level 10, and with promoted classes, one skill is learned at level 5 and then another is learned at level 15. If you are using a DLC class, it works differently, and I'm not sure exactly how it works, because it can change depending on when you put that character into that class. Sakura is actually an amazing unit, or she was for me, at least. She's a nice healer and if you reclass her into a Priestess, she is also an additional bow user. She honestly has a lot going for her; great Str, Mag, Spd, Lck, and Res. Her Skl and Def are a little bit lower, but it's not much of an issue. Because of her good Str and Mag, she can deal a good amount of damage with a regular bow as well as with the Shining Bow, which deals damage based on the Mag stat. In the Priestess class, she also learns the skill Renewal, so she can easily heal herself after each enemy phase. If you don't like the idea of using her as a Priestess, then she also makes for a really good Sword Master. She may lose her ability to heal units, but she becomes a nice offensive unit and in some ways is more flexible than Hana or Hinata in that role. Weapons are forged in the Smithy in your My Castle, and you have to have two of the same weapon that has been forged the same amount of times, as well as a certain type of gem, based on what you are forging. When you forge the weapon, it makes it stronger and can help a unit deal more damage with it, and can add on to their hit and crit rates as well. I would say to definitely play this game and to have fun with it. Don't let small stuff stress you out and don't be afraid to experiment with different classes for units and with pairings in this game. I tend to over analyze things and I think that gets in the way for me sometimes, but there is honestly so much that you can do with your characters that it makes it interesting. Have fun with it! ...And I hope I answered your questions well enough. I didn't expect to write so much, but once I get started on something I have the tendency to ramble, so I'm sorry if I boggled you with too much information. I hoped this helped and offered some good insight! Hope you enjoy playing the game!
  7. Omg when I was in middle school I thought wearing high heels was the coolest thing, and I just remember wearing high heels as much as my mom would let me. I would wear them even when they hurt like hell because I thought they looked nice. They may have looked nice, but it's probably part of the reason why I now have pain in my feet sometimes. I no longer wear high heels, and I actually can't remember the last time I wore heels. I have no clue why my younger self was so stubborn and wouldn't listen to my mom lol, she tried to get me to stop wearing them. I didn't even stop wearing them when I almost twisted my ankle trying to walk in high heels outside, like something crazy.
  8. It can definitely be a real job. It all depends on how much people put into and what they are able to get out of it. Most people who use it as a primary source of income put hours of work into their videos, and the payout they get from it can be pretty great. I would just be cautious to use it as a primary source of income though, because I have known a few YouTubers who were struggling at different times because they were relying on it as their only source of income. In those cases, I think it can be kind of risky though, and so some people have other jobs in addition to being YouTubers because of that fact. There are, of course, those that use it as their primary source of income and don't really do much with it and are broke most of the time, but I don't think they make up a majority.
  9. Briefs and bras without wires are the way to go for me. Sport bras don't give enough support for me and underwire bras constantly feel like they're digging into me, so I can't stand wearing them. I occasionally wear boy shorts, but usually it's only when I have to do laundry and that's the only thing I have left lmao. I have tried thongs before, but it's extremely uncomfortable. I'd rather pick something that's comfy over something that looks cute but is painful to wear.
  10. I mean sure, it could work. But it would need more details along the way, and we would need to go through more to get to that "golden ending". In all honesty, Corrin suffered more on the Birthright and Conquest routes than they did in Revelation, and I thought that they didn't really have to go through too much in Revelation. Now, I'm not saying that they needed to completely suffer something new in each chapter, but something should have been done differently. As others have said before, the deaths of the Corrinsexuals was pretty lame and seemed to be thrown in the story just for the hell of it. It wasn't really all that shocking when it happened, but it was annoying that it happened in the way that it did. I do like how it started, with both sides not trusting Corrin after they refused to pick a side, which is one of the few times that the royals on either side actually acted as though they had some sense in them. It was natural for them to not trust Corrin and to feel betrayed, but I feel like their trust was won too easily in the end. I'm not sure really what could have been done differently to make it seem more realistic, other than to add more chapters to the game, but it still would only result in more seemingly pointless battles and would probable draw it out too much. The concept of Valla is not entirely stupid to me, and in fact I think it was pretty cool. The concept was just not carried out in a way that made it seem particularly memorable. I felt as though we should have spent more time in Valla, since it was supposed to be so central to everything. Our time there came off as rushed, with little explanation as to why we were there and how things got to be the way they were. I understand that all of that is outlined in optional DLC, but that could have easily been worked into the Revelation path itself, which would have made it more coherent. I think that what could have made the experience in Valla more memorable, if nothing else, would be to fight alternate versions of the characters that had died in the other paths. For example, we could have fought against Ryoma, who died in Conquest and who is now being controlled by Anankos. It could be worked in somehow to show Corrin and all the others what could have happened had Corrin chose to side either with Nohr or Hoshido, and would have showed that their deaths would have been meaningless, since Anakos was their true foe all along. Not only would it have been interesting to see, but it was also solidify the point even more. Like I said though, I just thought it would have been cool to see that happen, but in order for that to happen other things would likely need to be added, and could have only led to more confusion and plot holes, knowing the writing team that Fates had. But overall, I think that a "golden ending" with Revelation is not an issue. What is an issue, however, is how that ending was reached. The journey to any ending is always important and is what makes any story even remotely enjoyable, because while people may appreciate a "feel good" ending, what they enjoy even more is being able to experience it along with characters that they can view as realistic and relatable. If that aspect is not there at all, then an ending that is just made to make everyone feel happy is a waste and is an example of lazy writing.
  11. I'm actually really excited for this TT, not only because of Gerome but because I honestly want more orbs and seals. I'm hoping to snag all of the rewards but we'll see how that goes I've literally only had the patience to get all of the rewards once, and that was months ago. I've got my +1 M!Morgan ready to go to help me get the points easier. Once I get more orbs, I'm gonna go back through the new Awakening banner again because I still really want F!Morgan and the new Chrom.
  12. Recently I started collecting Disney Tsum Tsum because I though they were adorable, and I've got a pretty decent collection going right now. But I've collected a lot of other things when I was younger too. I used to collect Beanie Babies when they were still popular, and when I was really little I used to collect stickers and keep them in sticker albums. I've gotten rid of all of those things now though.
  13. I supported my Spring Camilla with my New Years Camilla, so why not! I don't really think it's that strange.
  14. Omg I'm trying so hard not to laugh at this in school rn this is great
  15. People ignoring me when I talk. People who constantly complain about everything. People who refuse to listen to any other opinion except their own. People.
  16. I'm so happy they're bringing back another Mini Tempest Trials, the wait for one has been far too long. But I'm really hoping that this is when we get the New Year's Corrin I don't see why we wouldn't get him but hey, you never know. I'm just lucky I've managed to get the New Year's Camilla and Ryoma as well before it starts, and luckily they've already got their builds finished. I would love to see some great new seals added, like a Vantage seal. That would be amazing, but I'm not sure if they'll add it. It would definitely be interesting though.
  17. I think they're definitely saving up a lot for the one year anniversary. They're probably gonna pack on a lot of new banners, or at the very least a large banner with multiple heroes on it. I hope they add more chapters to the story, maybe even a paralogue as well to just give us something new to do. Maybe they'll even have a special Voting Gauntlet for it? I'm just hoping that whatever they have in store is really interesting, because I haven't really been doing much on Heroes lately. The thing I'm still hoping for the most though is a really great anniversary login bonus.
  18. I honestly really wish they would bring Mikoto or Garon to Heroes. Maybe make them be available from a Grand Hero Battle? I think it would be interesting if they did that.
  19. Villager - Tobin Soldier - Forsyth Cleric - Faye Mage - Mae Mercenary - Saber Cavalier - Mathilda Pegasus Knight - Clair Archer - Kliff

  21. My least favorite character is probably Atlas, because I didn't really use him that much. When I do another playthrough, I plan on trying to use him more.
  22. The voice acting in Echoes was amazing. My favorite voice actor in the game was Ian Sinclair, who did a really great job of voicing Berkut. I liked that they had voice acting for almost everything in the game, and I hope that they do that with future games.
  23. To make Corrin a great character, a lot would need to be changed. While it's understandable that Corrin would be a little naïve, Corrin was way too naïve. I was hoping that they would have developed a better sense of judgment, but that really wasn't the case. They relied too heavily on their siblings and were too trusting in certain situations; for instance, take the ordeal with Zola in Izumo. After they defeated him, they had the perfect chance to kill him. But instead, Corrin decides to welcome him in, as if he wasn't a serious threat minutes ago. But one of the biggest problems surrounding Corrin is not the fact that they are too trusting of others, but that others are too trusting of Corrin. It feels as if everyone rushed to put their trust in Corrin, and I find that to be really unrealistic. The royal siblings were especially bad for this. They decided to basically make Corrin in charge of everything as soon as they recruited them? Even though they know more about the situation than they do? I thought that was poor writing and gave way too much to the main character, who wasn't great to start with. But despite those flaws, Corrin had aspects that could have made them a really great character. Corrin's past and bloodline, as well as the fact that they can transform into a freaking dragon, could have been better incorporated into the story to make the story and Corrin more interesting, but IS failed to really focus on that (and when they did choose to focus on those facts, it was poorly written as well). I still actually really love Fates, but I just wish Corrin had been better written.
  24. I actually really loved the My Castle option. I thought it was really fun to set up shops and found them to be useful. I also thought being able to talk with your allies was nice because I wanted more interactions with characters anyway. I hope to see this feature in future games, but I hope that they expand upon it. I felt the castle needed more space to be able to include more buildings at a time, and that there needed to be more options for stuff to do in the castles. All in all, My Castle was a nice feature and I ended up spending most of my time there.
  25. I'm so tired of fidget spinners tbh I don't see how they actually help people, because the people that have them just play with them in class rather than use them to help them focus. And they distract from other people's learning because they hold them up and spin them up obnoxiously where everyone can see them, and they're loud as hell when you do that. The jerk in front of me in Biology does it, and I can't concentrate. People have them in every class I'm in though, and my sister just go one yesterday. Soon my sister will be spinning it around the house like crazy.
