Fire Emblem is my favorite series of games and I wanted to be immersed in a community that relatively felt the same way about it than I did. I have learned soooo much about Pokémon in the past by joining a popular Pokémon Forum and I'm hoping I can do the same with Fire Emblem, as I am a pretty casual player, truth be told. I love older games and how they worked but I have little to no knowledge about the first games that weren't released in North America and I don't know much about stats nor can I remember most of the plot of a game I just played. English being my second language really plays on my comprehension of the game too, so that doesn't help...
So yeah, really trying to be expert on the games I played and enjoyed a lot. Hoping that's a realistic reason.. ^v^'

I have not! And I'd be willing to try, if it weren't for the fact that I'm a vegetarian. I haven't tried many fancy meats before I changed my eating practice, unfortunately.

I played Sacred Stones only once so I can't exactly remember all that much of her character (as such it seems the moment she gave Lyon the stone didn't strike me as entirely idiotic) but her naïveté really did give me this "cute but rather tiring" feeling, so I get where you're coming from.
However, I distinctly remember liking Eirika. For one she's a female character - and that might just be me, but that's already a good thing in my book. Like many said before, her personality and her realistic growth also gave me something to get attached to. I tend to like characters who act upon their feelings, even if it means I get to sit down and watch something frustratingly annoying happen once in a while, because I do stupid things just by acting on what I feel myself. As long as I could relate to her (i.e. the whole game), I felt connected to her and it made me want to continue to see how her story ends.
She was naïve and was one day suddenly thrown into war. For what it's worth, she did a pretty good job at managing a party with this lack of experience and I respect that a lot.

So I heard! I haven't played the game yet so I'm trying to plan out a few things before I do (in between my studies for my last final on Wednesday).
Basically, she's not terrible in any of the offered classes, right ? I think I'll ultimately decide what I want her to be when I finally get my hands on the game. I'm leaning towards Cleric because I love healers and magic users. From what I gathered so far from her character, she seems to have a
slight... lack of unique personality, so I want to maximize my love for her as a unit by giving her a class I will enjoy. -
On the topic of Faye, someone suggested me that I turn her into a Cleric instead of the Pegasus Knight or Cavalier I was intending her to become. Which class do you think is the one Faye shines the most and is the most useful to the party as ?

Seth is an incredible unit. He's very useful to have around, especially in the beginning chapters. Came in handy more than once when I was just beginning to play Sacred Stones!
He's one of those very few pre-promoted-early-on gems that don't lose quality over the course of the game, which I found very cool. I like him as a character and his relationship with Eirika, so I was happy to keep him for the entirety of my playthrough. :3

How do Mila's Statues function exactly ? Can I reclass my characters indefinitely at any statue or are there specific statues to which I need to get my characters at or do they have a set amount of available promotions...?
Also, are there characters that have specific requirements when it comes to them being recruited ? And if so, is it clearly explained in the game ? I dislike realizing I missed a certain character 3 chapters later... D:
