  1. Ah. Got it. Sorry, was busy with something important yesterday, and maybe today.
  2. Already done in the last thread. Here are her stats: Str: **** Dex: ***** Con: ** Wis:**
  3. Yeah, thought it got ditched.
  4. Still nobles, even if their noble lineage has no bearing in Fateslandia.
  5. Owain is nobility himself, and a chance Inigo and Severa could be.
  6. Truth be told I really like green units as a filler to throw away at the enemy and soften them up for your party, or distract them so your party has more cushioning for strategy. Big battle chapters should have plenty of green units on hand a la RD.
  7. Now that I think about it, there are a lot of similarities between the two. - Both are Emperors of vast nations that presumably attained their size through conquest. The only minor difference is that Walhart is a reigning Emperor while Edelgard is only the heir. - Both have very similar color schemes of red clothing and white hair. Minor difference is the eye color. - Walhart wields a sword in the first chapter you face him, and in the next he wields an axe. The axe is confirmed to be his personal weapon. Edlegard is shown to be able to wield both swords and axes, but seems to favor the axe. - Both have ambitions to halt religious doomsday events. Walhart fought to prevent the calamity of Grima, while Edlegard believes the Goddess’ crests are behind the rising chaos. Make Edlegard a vegetarian, and she is officially lolihart. @Horulf The gameplay showcase outright said “Which will you choose?” so maybe not.
  8. We don’t precisely know whether or not Byleth is customizable yet, and if he is so what? The Dragonborn is a hero of prophecy, but nobody argues that he isn’t a true avatar.
  9. The thing about avatars is that it is possible for them to have an established backstory and still represent the player. The only caveat is that three things must be in place to do this - 1. The background must be and minimalistic. Nothing grand that would establish too much character. 2. The avatar’s personality must be a blank slate for the player to work with. 3. The avatar “speaks” through dialogue choices given to the player, but is otherwise silent. Achieving all three qualities would result in a real avatar, and from what we’ve seen Nintendo seems to be going this route. Not once does Byleth speak in either of the two trailers shown.
  10. Given the fact that all three aristocrats are playable, I highly doubt things will be so Black and White. It’s very likely that all three aristocrats will have different convictions but present them to the player in a morally plausible way, and it’s up to the player to take a stand.
  11. Make the MU a Oifrey. Someone who acts as a councilor for the main lord and is respected among the party, and is more than powerful in combat, but takes a sideline to the plot.
  12. Really, the MU thing can be done right, just that FE Fates didn’t. Making Byleth silent and only speaking through dialogue options would be a nice first step.
  13. February 7th, if it comes around that day we should get a brief trailer on 3H and an FE direct in March.
  14. 30,281 Atoms and I’ll give you all a canvas bag.
  15. 30,269 Damnit, here come the jokes.
  16. Make the gambeson longer with brigandine plates and iron gauntlets. Boots should be leather with metal splints lacquered on.
  17. I’m talking about for aesthetics, not actual gameplay. Oh, and the thief class is based off of ninjas by design. The reason for this is because of the heavy European roots the game seems to have. Though, Vanguard does have a point in re-doing the aesthetics of the myrmidon. That can actually work. Oh, and while dragons didn’t exist historically in Medieval Europe, there is plenty of dragon lore to go off of.
  18. Because a save option doesn’t have any bearing on the lore. It is a fourth wall mechanic. A turnwheel is not a fourth wall mechanic, and needs grounding with in-universe lore.
  19. Given this appears to be heavily rooted in medieval European history, the Japanese based-classes (Theif and Myrmidon) should be given a break. Other classes should be rehased in aesthetics to more resemble their historical counterparts.
  20. Something like Lords being convoys is a very small feature that can be explained away by some haphazard excuse. Something as big as the turnwheel cannot.
