  1. It was for my story here. You were the moderator that told me how to move it, but I wasn't sure if this was an okay place or if it should be in written works, because it isn't really a story, it just has to do with the story. Sorry if it's in the way or it isn't supposed to be here, I can report it myself if it isn't. Also, the tag I have on it links to all the other work that has to do with my writing, I just forgot to mention it in the post. P.S. That Ephraim pic is disgusting.
  2. Tonight, I will be writing on Shurca, the cold peninsula bordering Lyrouche and Kestra. (Sorry I didn't write yesterday, I was sick) Shurca is a cold, dry country surrounded by dense forests and icy mountains. The people there are under a direct democracy. Most would find living in Shurca unpleasant, because it's icy and has many hostile wild animals, but its inhabitants are happy with the lives they have. Very few Shurcans venture outside their country, those who do are merchants that return with new goods that Shurca doesn't have, like wheat and berries from Lyrouche, or herbs from Kestra. Shurcan merchants are paid by the state to retrieve these goods, and the state gets some of the revenue from the selling of those products along with some of the money that is spent on fish, the most commonly consumed food, which Shurca has plenty of. Their religion praises Ancia, the goddess of control and light. They believe the goddess blesses them with their food, because no other country has the mass quantity of life on their shores. Shurca has a small military, but the country is renowned for its excellent sharpshooters. Due to the constant hunting, Shurcans must often be trained in the way of the bow, and this results in skilled marksman across the region. There are other types of warriors there, but not many, because Shurca is primarily isolated, refusing to get into most, if not all, conflict, and has no reason to raise up troops for military combat. Shurcan playable characters: Cris
  3. Tonight, I will write on the island country Daeryn, a poor country with no ability to take care of its people. Daeryn is wet, cold, and miserable. Thousands of years ago, it was connected to Shurca, but it broke off after an intense earthquake. The country makes very little money, and the money it makes is from traveling merchants that have sworn to serve Ancia, and the majority of the profit is given back to the church. The people of Daeryn are in constant famine, and eat small animals that don't have much nutritional value due to desperation. The country is a theocracy, its ruler is a church led by Clergyman Sashma, Sashma refuses to help the starving people of Daeryn because he believes that the goddess Ancia lets those people die if they are meant to die. Daeryn is truly isolated from the other countries of Seinara, it has no enemies or allies, and because Daeryn is very poor, there isn't a particular reason to make a partnership with them. There are only people living in Daeryn because they were born there and raised to believe that they were born to be servants of the temple until they die. The only stand out thing in Daeryn is the temple, called the Caelum Sanctum. It is essentially a skyscraper with an altar at the top. Each level of the tower has blessed water flowing through it, and it is said that those with pure hearts and holy intentions can drink from it and then ascend the rest of the tower without any difficulty. The altar is restricted to visitors, only those who give offerings to the church may enter and pray at Ancia's altar. The Caelum Sanctum is considered the most tranquil and beautiful spot in all of Seinara, but few can go to the top of the tower and back down without serious and unhealthy physical stress. Many Daeryns stealthily slip inside the tower, hoping that they can pray to Ancia and be blessed with food, but they are too malnourished to reach the top. There are no playable Daeryn characters, the only notable Daeryn is Sashma.
  4. Today I'm going to write on Kestra, a home to any able to afford it. It is bordering Riese, an ally, Nykos, with whom it has a mutual distaste of, Shurca, a trade partner, and Maya, a desert wasteland with little to no population. Kestra is an aristocracy, and the dukes, duchesses, and councilors are extremely powerful because of the country's wealth. They do not have much of a military force, though, because most Kestrans are pacifists or value their lives over their country. This is why they are allied with Riese: Riese sends them skilled mercenaries to protect the Northern Kestran border, and in exchange, Kestra gives a large sum of money to Riese each year, like an annual mercenary fee and a payment for Riese's loyalty. It is damp and hot, which is perfect for many herbs and flowering plants. The flora that grow there are sold an an extremely high price, due to their multiple uses, such as tome page paper, medicinal use (vulneraries, elixirs, salves, etc.), and simply aesthetic pleasure. This makes Kestra a very rich country, the richest on the continent, in fact, and those who live there pay hefty taxes with pride. Some who live outside of Kestra question the quantity of plants, because those types of plants should not grow in such abundance naturally, but the people of Kestra don't look into it, because they'd prefer to keep the moneymaking plants in high supply. There are very few children, because most Kestrans are older, and have built up the wealth to not only live there, but set up a spot where they can cultivate plants and sell them, which takes time and money that they would otherwise have to use on kids. Kestra is not openly religious. Kestra is one of the only countries that has wyverns, who live on misty mountains that separate Northwest Kestra from Southwest Nykos. Kestran playable characters: Yerilla, Harley
  5. Here I have my most recent post, on the cultures of Seinaran countries (the continent has a name now, yay!). I like to keep myself busy so I don't get impatient and post other things before their time :\ I get excited...
  6. I think I posted a topic in the wrong place, is there a way to move it or delete it?
  7. I have vaguely described the countries on my continent, but I have not gone into much detail. Here, I will post on the various cultures of Seinara [Say-nahr-uh] (I named the continent! The name is derived from the Japanese word for 'Holy', seinaru). I will start with Lyrouche, the main country. Lyrouche is a monarchy, the current king is Lord Firos, who's daughter, Syllish, was to inherit the throne when she turned twenty, but at twelve she was put in a coma from the Empirion incident. The Empirion is the country's national treasure, a powerful crystal housed inside the castle and guarded by the royal sage. The culture in Lyrouche is plain, but they do hold a prejudice against shifters, because Lyrouche is not the native home of any type of shifter. Most shifters avoid government when they can, so anarchies and free regions like Tryst are preferred in comparison to more strict, government focused countries. The country largely believes in Ancia, the goddess of control and light. Lyrouche isn't focused on religion, but again, most do believe in the goddess, and those who worship Larces are usually ignored, treated poorly, or in some serious cases, imprisoned. Lyrouche has a bit of a god complex, as it has the most power and believes itself to be the most morally sound, as well as the best generally, of the Seinaran governments, making negotiations with Lyrouche painful and long, as they demand too much and return too little simply because they believe they are superior to the other countries. This is why they don't really have allies, they have countries who deal with them, like Riese, Kestra, and Shurca, and countries that fight back or pick fights themselves, like Nykos and Nicholas. Royal knights of Lyrouche are considered the best in the continent, and because there is an abundance of troops due to common patriotism (or you could say egotism) and a rather large population, soldiers are not always taken into training. The current captain of the royal guard, Gill, maintains strict control over these men and women, and demands only their best for the royal family. Hawkinson is a village near the capital that is small, humble, and most noteworthy, the home of Taren, Tenn, Tyken, and Annika. It tends to attract those who are lost or wandering, and it's homely appearance also makes it a prime bandit target. Unfortunately, Hawkinson villagers must fend for themselves, as the capital doesn't really care what happens to poorer communities like Hawkinson, as they don't make the capital much money. Lyrouchi playable characters: Taren, Tenn, Tyken, Annika, Gill, Karti, Schall, Simon, Ramona, Shel, Michael, Pim, Gwenivere
  8. Ah, okay ;) I trust you. Annika's mother is named Reyanne. She is similar to her daughter, outgoing and can get caught up in the heat of battle, but Reyanne is much more reserved than Annika outside of battle. She stopped wandering when she settled down in Hawkinson, the main characters' village, and raised Annika with her husband. Her husband died of illness and her daughter left with Taren, Tenn, and Tyken, so I mean, she could go off on her own again, there's not really a ball and chain anymore.
  9. Part 2 will be up soon, but I want to do the poll's picked character page first. But just so you readers know, the beginning will come soon. Part 2 will be lengthy, after all, it is the meat of the story :)
  10. I was thinking of making her mother playable at one point, but I decided against it because she'd be demoted to "pre-promote no one uses" status. Though I am proud to say no main protagonist parents were killed in the making of this fangame.
  11. There is a poll up for the next character page, just so those reading this and have not seen the poll yet know, here you go.
  12. I want to do a couple more character pages before I go on to part 2 of the story, but I want those who have been reading my posts to pick the next character I write on. The options for this first poll are below, if the one you voted for doesn't get the most votes by the time I will eventually set (probably 4 or 5 days), then don't fret, I'll be doing the others sooner rather than later, all of these characters make their debut near the beginning of Part 2. The character that wins will get their page put up first and at least one support put up as well. Also, I'm not expecting huge amounts of votes, obviously, I just started writing on Serenes Forest, no dedicated fanbase for me (yet) I'm just doing this for my own enjoyment and to see what characters catch people's attention first. And if you want to view part one to this unnamed tale, or you want to see the character pages I have already started, they are in the tag and they are on my profile page. The character descriptions are below: Annika- A healer from a foreign land, she is outgoing and compassionate. She sometimes can get caught up in the heat of battle, and will say or do things that are out of her character. She has a secret temper, but tries to remain calm through prayers to the goddess Ancia, who Annika partially was named after. Her mother was a famous wandering sorceress who believes in everything Annika does. She is the most likely to be found studying her mother’s books. She is the best shogi player in the army. Class: Cleric Gill- A noble knight and captain of the royal guard, he is Syllish’s closest protector. When she became comatose, he vowed to protect her life with his own, if necessary. His commitment to her is astounding, and a tad disturbing, he remembers everything he's done for her, everything she's said, and everywhere she's been vividly and precisely. Those who know him say he is self-conscious, and that he acts “manly” so that people won’t harass him for his extreme hygiene and OCD behavior, as well as his refusal to eat meat. He is the most likely to repeat his answers to the same question. He has the softest skin in the army. Class: Great Knight Karti A reserved archer known for keeping Gill company, she sees him as the father she never had, as he adopted her and trained her into the army after noting her potential. She is determined to prove herself as the greatest sharpshooter in all of Lyrouche, and she never stops trying to show Gill why he was right about her. She is the best at hunting. She is the most reactive to being touched. Class: Archer Schall A newly appointed royal guard, he is renowned for his prowess in magic. He is kind to a fault, but extremely naive and immature. His mood on the battlefield is always scared and unhappy, as he is not adjusted to violence, but he has always dreamed of being a knight. His parents are very wealthy nobles, and he was raised as a sheltered child. His adoptive brother, Michael, is jealous of his position. He is the most gullible in the army. He is the best finger painter in the army. Class: Troubadour
  13. I have had a story for a fangame that will probably never be made, due to my innate lack of game making and artistic skills, but I wanted to post it and see what people what think. It's a rough concept, but I'm confident I can make it better, even if I end up doing nothing with it. It is not written as if you are the player, but if you watched all the events of the story happen in order. Part 1 is before the main plot (it sets up the story) and I would appreciate any feedback, whether on this post or on the story post. The link to all of my work is the tag I used 'florinas fanwork', but you can also go to the first part here, view my profile (where everything is laid out), or follow me so you can be notified of my new posts. Even if you don't have feedback, I like knowing people are reading my work, so if there's nothing you see wrong with it, that's okay to tell me too, it means I can work more on the next part :)
  14. This is probably the final part of the set up for the majority of the story. While the other two parts I had in advance, this part I have come up with specifically because I did not previously have a backstory for Yorke, the Nykos Wolfskin slave who is largely responsible for the idea of a Laguz rebellion, before it became something more under Leoppold's control. Yorke and his family were captured on the edge of Western Riese, the third time they had tried to escape Nykos captivity and return to their home in Tryst. This was the farthest they had ever gotten, and they refused to give up. The troupe of five (a young Yorke, his two brothers, and his mother and father) resisted as best they could, but they were brutally beaten and transported back to Nykos, muzzled and broken. Yorke hated to see his family yearning for freedom so badly, and he used every opportunity he had to show he hated his master, including refusing to do labor, until one day his master had enough, and he forced Yorke to watch as he whipped his youngest brother Ashe to the brink of death. Yorke became completely submissive to prevent any more whipping, and he pent up bitterness and frustration year by year, watching Nykos men and women mock them and throw things at them while they dug wells for water. He snapped when a group of women spit on him and called him filth. He attacked them, but the women were saved by a powerful general named Tarana (Nykos’ military is primarily noble females, their culture trains high rank girls from a young age, I may post on Nykos culture some other time). Tarana became Yorke’s target, and he built up a force of other bitter wolfskin and taguel who did not belong in such an arid and hot climate and wanted escape. They planned to intimidating their owners into freeing them by killing Tarana, the local enforcer of law. Yorke was planning on having more than her blood on his hands, but he did not tell the others. Unfortunately, one of the shifters sold out the others for his own freedom and the slaves were all brutally beaten. Just as they began to give up hope for escape, their province was visited by an angel...
  15. Red heroes are very common, and there are very few of them that are bad. So to use Tobin over much better options I think is a poor decision from a technical perspective, and to say you more than won't likely have red units better than Tobin is silly, red units are everywhere, and Sophia, Stahl, Xander, and Llyod have all been free at one point or another, and they can all be usable as well, moreso than Tobin. They're giving out Selena for free right now, and like I said before, she's a much better option. The likelihood that a player doesn't have at least one red unit better than Tobin would mean you've only pulled Raigh, Hinata, or have avoided red orbs entirely during summoning sessions. Tobin has a niche use, but it's a niche done better by just about anyone else. Tobin has the base kit for armorslaying, but SI means that he doesn't have a place in the meta, because you could easily give an Armorslayer to Hinata, and he has 3 more defense to tank Hector, Sheena, and now Amelia, whereas Tobin has more resistance, which won't help when most mages are designed to double units with the amount of speed he has. Now, to be fair, Hinata won't double armors because of his speed, but really, that isn't a big deal, considering they won't double him either (outside of Amelia, whom Tobin will also get doubled by). As for Hit and Run, that can allow another unit to attack or possibly finish off the target after the Hit and Run unit does. I don't understand why people think Drag Back is better when units that commonly use Hit and Run, like Clair, don't want to be hit back and would love the chance to run away instead of pulling the enemy toward them. Drag Back can be used for airborne units to travel back over terrain, but other than that, Hit and Run seems like the better option. Now, generally, I'd rather have a B skill that is more useful, like a breaker skill or QR, but that's besides the point.
  16. Well, Soul~! mentioned Berkut and Clive. We weren't just talking about TT, but recent free units that he mentioned.
  17. Tyken-C Tenn: Tyken! Brother of mine! Tyken: Is there something you want? Tenn: What? No, I- Tyken: You want me to give you my rations at dinner- Tenn: No- Tyken: You want to borrow my practice wand to pick a knot out of your old headband again? Tenn: I don't even wear that anymore, Taren does. Tyken: So what is it then? Tenn: Why are you so snappy today? Tyken: Someone told me you thought I was no fun. Tenn: Wha? I never- why would I- Tyken: It's okay, because you're right. I'm not fun. Tenn: Oh, good, because I totally did say that. Tyken: I knew it! Tenn: Great, I fell for that again! Now I'm going to have to figure out a way to make up for it, aren't I? Tyken: Show me how to have fun. Tenn: Seriously? It isn't really complicated. Tyken: Well, I don't get it. Show me. Tenn: Tomorrow. Today, I want you to help me carry Taren's practice supplies to the training grounds. Tyken-B Tyken: What's all this stuff? Tenn: That is a ball. For catch. That over there, is a dummy, for abusing, and all the way over there, is a hill, on which we will be rolling. Tyken: Why? Tenn: Fun. Like you asked. Tyken: Alright. So what do I do? Tenn: Pick up the ball and throw it to me. Tyken: There. Tenn: Okay, try again, but this time, throw it about five times further. Tyken: I can't. Tenn: Um... let's try the dummy. Draw a face on it with this pen. Tyken: I'll try. Tenn: That's fine. Now, lean it up against that wall. Tyken: Okay. Tenn: Now shoot it with magic. Tyken: But I drew a face on it... Tenn: It's funny, c'mon. Tyken: Let's try the other thing. Tenn: Rolling down that hill? Tyken: Yeah, and then I'm done for today. Tenn: If you're up to it. Tyken-A Tyken: I give up. I'm not fun. I'm the exact opposite, I'm completely boring. I didn't even have the guts to get dirty rolling down the hill. Tenn: Let me try one more thing. Tyken: There's nothing else you can do, Tenn. I'm doomed to be drab. Tenn: Tell me what this is. Tyken: That flower you have? Tenn: Yeah. Tyken: Well... it's a flower. Tenn: You know more about it than that, I'm you do. Tyken: Well, it's called Shaverna's Clover, and when they're agitated, they glow in the dark. Tenn: Neat. Tyken: Really? Tenn Did you have fun telling me that interesting fact? Tyken: I think a little. Tenn: So that's how you have fun! Tyken: Maybe you're right. Tenn: What about this one? Tyken: That's a heat fern. In hot temperatures, they produce more chlorophyll and become a deeper green. Tenn: And this one? Tyken: That mushroom is Tailtiu's Bane. They are great for medicine if you can pick them safely and dry them, but if they aren't dehydrated properly- Tenn: What? Tyken: Tenn, that mushroom is toxic on contact. Tenn: Oh- well, glad we had this sibling bonding moment. Tyken: Tenn? Tenn: Yes? Tyken: Go see a medic. Tenn: Right away.
  18. Tobin is nice, but red is a coveted slot, and considering there are so many better options like Selena (who, with Triangle Adept, fills Tobin role in being a Hector killer) and Hana (who can take one Green hit and counter with L&D Armorslayer+), Tobin isn't very good. I like him because I like Tobin, so I try to use him, but I already have much better reds. "Marth" is good because it's just IV-lacking Lucina, and Lucina is good. Clive<Berkut, they have very minor differences stat wise, but Clive sacrifices some resistance for speed, and both units have unusable speed that means they will be doubled by everything. Berkut has a nice start kit, and his signature lance lets him tank quite effectively, unfortunately, he gets doubled all the time and his start resistance isn't that great, meaning if you want him to absorb magic attacks, you can't toy with his starting skills at all. You have to have Water Boost and Berkut's Lance if you want Berkut to survive attacks from dangerous mages, and even then it's risky unless he's got a breaker skill directed at a certain type of tome user that allows him to not get doubled, which puts him in a seriously tiny niche. Clive can't even do that, though, though he's a little more durable, and I think he'd be okay with Ignis, Bonfire, But I mean, Clive is free Hit and Run, so... yay?
  19. This is my draft for a support. I fully accept criticism, so tell me what you think. If it's harsh, that's okay, just make it constructive, and not "that's crap" because I can't do anything with that. Tenn-C Tenn: Tyken! Brother of mine! Tyken: Is there something you want? Tenn: What? No, I- Tyken: You want me to give you my rations at dinner- Tenn: No- Tyken: You want to borrow my practice wand to pick a knot out of your old headband again? 20. Tyken, the mage triplet. Tyken has always been the most difficult of the triplets for me to develop. Most of the time, I adapt my characters from common tropes, and the 'smart one' is usually cold, distant, antisocial, or bitter. Tyken isn't supposed to be like that, he's really more like the valedictorian you think can't be a real person because they're in every club and athletic picture, they keep straight A+'s, and people still describe them as nice even though if you were that person, you'd probably too stressed to be nice to people. Character Description: Tyken is a scholar, a strategist, and a sharp thinker. He prefers having new experiences and finding new things over learning about what's already been discovered. He is levelheaded and forgiving, but is a bit of a stick in the mud, and prefers avoiding conflicts instead of helping to solve them. He has the prettiest eyes in the army He is the most likely to get the hiccups Class: Mage Growths (including class growths): HP Strength Magic Skill Speed Luck Defense Resistance 45 10 65 60 35 60 35 40 Personal Skill- Analytic: Adds 15 avo. to allies within 2 spaces, dodge-10 to adjacent enemies I will only post supports with characters that have their own posts like this, so when characters have a page and are supposed to have a support with Tyken, then you can start saying, "Hey where's ____'s support with ____?". I would appreciate critique of my supports when I write them, because I can then change them, correct them, or even completely redo them to make them better :) Your input helps, not hurts. Oh- and the link below is for the first part to the story, which is essentially years before the main campaign actually starts, so don't be confused when there is no mention of the protagonist I just wrote about :)
  21. This is my draft for a support. I fully accept criticism, so tell me what you think. If it's harsh, that's okay, just make it constructive, and not "that's crap" because I can't do anything with that. Tenn-C Tenn: Psst! Taren! Taren: What? Tenn: There's a spider on my bed!! Taren: Spider? This again? Fine… got it. Why can’t you kill your own little spider? Tenn: It was a big spider. Taren: Tenn, you’re a big boy. You should be able to handle a tiny bug. Tenn: ...I know, but… Taren: That was really sad. I’m a girl, y’know, I’m supposed to be the one who squeals at the bugs. Tenn: ...Don’t tell anyone else, okay? A strong reputation like mine can’t be blackened simply because I have... certain fears Taren: A strong reputation, huh? You've got a reputation, that's all right. Tenn: C'mon, it was a big spider. Taren: Sure. Tenn-B Taren: There, 200 push-ups! What a nice morning workout. Tenn: Taren! Why did you tell people?! Taren: Because it was funny! Tenn: I didn’t think it was funny, and I told you not to tell anyone! Taren: Chill, dude, everyone’s afraid of something. We’re allowed to tease each other about it. Tenn: What are you afraid of then, oh sister of mine? Taren: Ha! Nothing! I was just trying to cheer you up. Tenn: Well, it didn’t work. Taren: It would’ve, if you hadn’t of asked anymore questions. Tenn: I’ll find what you’re afraid of, Taren! You’ll rue the day you mocked me! Taren: No I won’t! Tenn-A Taren: Time for some training… hey... where’s my axe? My axe is gone! I loved that axe! Tenn: Is that what you’re afraid of?! Losing your precious axe? Taren: No, you idiot, but it would be wonderful if that didn’t happen. And you know what would make that easier? Tenn: What? Taren: Me having my axe! Where did you put it?! Tenn: Are you scared you might not ever see it again? Taren: Nope, because you’re going to tell me where it is! Speak before I make you a bend you into a big, ugly knot! Tenn: Okay, okay, just lemme’ go! It’s in that chest over there. Taren: That was stupid, Tenn. Tenn: But there has to be something you’re afraid of. Taren: Why does it matter!? Tenn: Just…tell me, okay? You can tell me. Taren: I... I’m afraid of losing my family. You guys are all I have left. My brothers, my friends who will never leave my side. If you or Tyken got hurt, I... don’t know what I’d do. I’m afraid of being powerless to help as my closest allies die right in front of me… there, is that what you wanted? Tenn: Taren... I’m sorry. Taren: Don’t be. I get it, it’s better to know that you’re allies aren’t invincible, so you know when to step in and help. And I shouldn’t have picked on you and betrayed your trust. Your fears are yours to own, and it isn’t anyone else's’ business unless you want it to be. Tenn: Now, why do you like that axe so much? Taren: I used it to chop firewood with dad. You don’t remember? Tenn: No, I never did that because dad didn’t like me whining about splinters.

Taren-A Taren: Time for some training… hey... where’s my axe?
  23. Tenn, one of the triplets (oh, did I not mention that before... oops). Tenn is one of the three main characters, I find him most relatable, because he wants people to like him, even though he's sort of a dork, and he is afraid of bugs, mostly spiders, like me o_o No spiders are allowed to read this. Character Description: Tenn wants to be seen as cool. His sword fighting skills are pristine, and his speed is unparalleled. However, in his attempts to look cool, something usually happens to deflate his ego, like a leaf falling across his neck and making him think something is crawling on him, putting him into panic mode. Tenn, when not in a state of panic, is a valuable asset to the army, because even though Tyken usually contributes the majority of a strategy, Tenn has the best ideas regarding stealth and getting the odds in the army's favor when in dire situations. He is the fastest runner in the army His scream is most similar to a little girl Class: Myrmidon Growths (including class growths): HP Strength Magic Skill Speed Luck Defense Resistance 35 45 5 75 75 55 40 20 Personal Skill- Swift Footed: Spd adds +2 for every kill, stacks up to 3 times, drops 1/turn I will only post supports with characters that have their own posts like this, so when characters have a page and are supposed to have a support with Tenn, then you can start saying, "Hey where's ____'s support with ____?".
  24. My protagonist in my unnamed continent... in my unnamed work... ISN'T A LORD! (Collective gasp) And it isn't a guy, either! (Another collective gasp) Now, to be truthful, she is one of three protagonists, two of which are male, but they don't split up, and they don't say that one of them needs to be protected because they're untrained or weaker (i.e. Eirika/Ephraim, Ike/Mist, Chrom/Lissa), and she is the most important sibling. Character Description: To say that Taren is hardheaded... is an understatement. She isn't really the tactician type, which is why it's good that she has brothers that are a lot more calm and collected when it comes to combat or really anything else. She has a competitive nature, is too stubborn to admit loss, and is rather crude, but she is honorable and has a strong heart. She has the ability to take risks when others won't, and is always willing to sacrifice her own well-being for the comfort, safety, and trust of her comrades. She is the sloppiest eater in the army She is the best at arm wrestling in the army Class: Fighter Growths (including class growths): HP Strength Magic Skill Speed Luck Defense Resistance 85 80 15 45 55 35 55 25 Personal Skill- Burning Passion: Adjacent enemies take +4 dmg from attacks So that's Taren. I actually have all of her supports done, but I will only post supports with characters that have their own posts like this. So her first support on her page will probably be with her brother, Tenn. And I would appreciate critique of my supports when I write them, because I can then change them, correct them, or even completely redo them to make them better. Your input helps, not hurts. Also, this does belong in written works because this will be a page for written supports, it is not strictly for the stats there. Oh- and the link below is for the first part to the story, which is essentially years before the main campaign actually starts, so don't be confused when there is no mention of the protagonist I just wrote about :)
  25. It'll be figured out over time. I'm just telling the story in order. The game would have most of Leoppold's backstory most likely told by Diana after you defeat her. Ambrosia is written as a sympathetic character, because she wants her father to love her and he resents her for being an offspring he didn't want. The trick is you'll either like Leoppold for loving Diana and wanting his son back or you'll hate him because he doesn't appreciate his daughter and has an "end justifies the means" kind of feel. Also, I take inspiration from the Herons when I talk about the Graciel. I like the idea of them being similar to angels (but like I said, they aren't actually angels), but Graciel are really more like descendants of Manakete. They keep the wings, but they live in a warmer, more delicate climate, so they don't need tough, scaly wings, and because Vein was not under any human jurisdiction before, they didn't need to hide (you know, because some manakete wear robes and hide their face, or they live in places like Arcadia where they can't be found). I'm wondering if they should be able to turn into dragons with a dragonstone still. Now, there are still Manakete that are like normal Manakete, they just don't live in Vein, and they are usually captured and their scales are harvested, used in a similar fashion to Gregor and Nowi's supports in Awakening. Dragon scales are very tough, and Nykos will exploit anything and anyone to win in war. The continent doesn't have a name yet. I've been doing more work on the countries than the entire continent. At one point, I considered using Elibe as my location, but to reformat where all the countries went would be a pain. I appreciate your critique. Not only does it mean someone is reading my work, but it means they're willing to tell me how I can make it better, too. I'm used to criticism, I'm very critical myself, and one of my best friends used to let me bounce my ideas off of him for fun when we walked to his house from the bus stop. And criticism will be valuable when I move onto the next part, because Part 2 is a little underdeveloped, I think. The beginning and the end are fleshed out, but the center is plot-squishy :/
