I realize I didn't exactly answer the question. I have been an active part of Facebook, Tumblr, and various smaller projects. The one thing I haven't touched is Twitter. Facebook is where drama monarchs go to die. Tumblr is where you can spit out your hot-takes with a sense of entitlement and a passive aggressive attitude and still get positive attention. Twitter just isn't worth my time.

Didn't this already get asked? Social media in nearly all its forms is a source of infinite hugboxing and view polarization. It creates an illusion of a world where almost everyone agrees with you. It's also ugly.

Welcome to SF Inverviews. SF Interviews is a member interviewing game where users are nominated, voted for and then questioned by anyone in the public forum. They are given a public spotlight for five days in which we can all get to know them better and bring some life to our community. Nominations will be for the first two days of the week (Sunday to Monday). The winner of each nomination will be given their own five day Interview (lasting from Tuesday to Saturday). If a user opts out, the user will be replaced by the second highest voted nominee. Tied nominations will be decided by a dice roll. Users may ask a maximum of 5 questions per Interview. The limit is to avoid overwhelming the contestant--it may be lifted at the contestant's choice. Nominees will need to confirm their participation. If they do not, then they will be skipped for the next highest nominee. If you are nominating someone, make sure that they are willing and able to accept your nomination.
