Based on my interactions with Prims in other games, this is the scummiest and least rational I've seen him act by miles. He is always weird, but not this weird. I always think he is scum though.

I still feel good about Strawman's tone and content... I just have trouble believing he's this good at being scum. @Strawman: Can we count on you to consolidate on Clarinets or Nova if Yolo doesn't pan out? (FWIW Yolo is still on my scum list, I will consolidate that lynch before a Clarinets one.)

The reason why I say the same reasons: Marth distanced from Clarinets by claiming to be for a Clarinets lynch while going after Strawman. Nova distanced from Marth by claiming for be for a Marth lynch while going after Clarinets.

Okay, I've reread the case on Clarinets and am reassured that it has the same level of reasoning as my case on Nova for the same reasons as my case on Nova. I could go either way on this lynch. If Clarinets flips scum then Nova is cleared and we get rid of a scum doublevoter, which is a substantial boon for town. But if Clarinets flips town, then Nova is confirmed scum and we got rid of a town doublevoter. We don't have much to lose either way we go. Thoughts (from not Nova)?

For what it's worth, this is the bit Prims was talking about. "If Clarinets is scum," Marth + 1 = 2 "then another one is for sure on Marth's wagon" + 1 = 3 "and the last one probably is too" + 1 = 4 You implied there are four scum and that Clarinets is one of those four scum. Prims is right to question you.

Now that I read Nova's case my reasons for scumreading Nova also apply to Clarinet's (at least as much reading as I can do on my phone). If we lynch Clarinet's and he is town, we lose nothing, in fact we gain more control over the lynch. If Clarinet's is scum he needs to die sooner rather than later because a mafia mayor is a terrible threat. I may find a good reason why Nova's case is false later but if somone who is not Clarinet's could do it for me that would be great.

I get it... So you're arguing that he would never have gone after Strawman if that lynch were actually happening? I wait on Strawman's scum case then.

Fwiw I can potentially see the reasoning behind Marth/Nova/Strawman team. Also my case against Nova here is on top of all of the individual scum pings I mentioned in #311/#312.

I am now about 110% sure Nova is Mafia. Sorry buddy. People fully cleared by Marth's flip are Strawman (waiting to hear a case before deciding) and Clarinets. If you disagree you'd better have a damn good reason for it, and it better not be "Marth is smart enough to hard bus D1 before his own wagon even forms in case he gets lynched D1". There is a ton of damning evidence between Marth/Nova. On Marth's side, he soft defended Nova without ever stating a read about him even though Nova had voted him and called him a top scum read already. I found every post where he mentioned Nova. There isn't much, but a picture forms. [spoiler=Marth] I mentioned a long time ago that I asked about numbers because something had made me start thinking in terms of scum team instead of scum individually. This is what I meant. On Nova's side, he claimed to be for a Marth lynch and voted him early on. But as soon as he saw another target he took it and stuck with it to the end. (Clarinets. Notice he is cleared by this flip?) While casing Marth/Clarinets and pushing people to choose between them, he implicitly tied Marth and Clarinets together as a scum team. He even said that he would lock in Marth if Clarinets flipped scum. This is the most damning of all. Nova has a lot of content against Marth, but he was riding on Clarinets' flip and never followed up on his Marth read despite Marth not paying him any mind the whole time Nova was casing him. [spoiler=Nova] Literally the next post: Notice how he locked Clarinets in based on a Marth associative, not the other way around? He doubles down on the tied read while clearly expressing expectation for a Clarinets flip. I strongly believe he was hedging his bets on Clarinets going down, flipping Town, and clearing Marth in the process by association. Then he made a promise he knew he couldn't follow up on without a hammer. ##Vote Ars Nova

Please explain this case more carefully. I've already read it and it seems to clear Strawman instead of condemn him.
