I discovered the fact myself after chapter 9 or so While he is still one of the tankiest units even later in the game, his offensive potentials falls off thanks to his skill being relatively low compared to others and having almost no skills. If you want to hold a position or defend something he's good, if you want to go full offense however i don't think he's that good later on
