  1. Most probably they're going to be bundles and special editions. But man, NOA bundles sucks. Why digital only copies for the bundles? And why the Fates themed 3DS doesn't include the game? Oh right, the 3 routes issue now that I think about it...
  2. Yeah, I hate boring grinding. It's worthless for me to use secondary E rank weapons outside of the first chapters. That's why I like the exclusive seal for second generation characters in Fates.
  3. I would like if the sprites resembles the units actual outfit colors than just the traditional blue for your goodies, red for baddies and green for allies/neutrals. The Tellius games did a good job on that, mostly because the characters on the map are 3d models.
  4. The only way I'm going to accept the lack of RNG is the battles are 2d side scroll based. Imagine a normal FE with the traditional squared maps but instead of RNG pre-determined battle animations the game swaps to Zelda 2 mode, lol.
  5. I fear this game it's going to be 3d heavy. The cancelled Wii game was the first attempt. The other ones are TMS, Fates (reduced to My Castle), SoV and FEW. We know from the devs that this game it's going to feature "beautiful graphics" and "breath life into the characters like never before". Since every Nintendo dev it's obsessed over 3D features I expect this.
  6. The Fire Emblem is going to be an ancient nuclear rocket launcher. I second that.
  7. I replayed the game to death so, yes. And I'm actually playing it again in Lunatic+. According to my activity log: Play Time - 2078:08 hours Times Played - 1,225 Average Play Time - 1:41 hours RD and Conquest have high numbers too. Good entertainment hits the emotions. Good and bad ones, so if a game is receiving hate that means it's receiving love too. Look at Wii and Minecraft for example. If no one cares to crap on a game that means is boring and it isn't receiving love either.
  8. Something that can affect the battle map. Like how you put statues and other crap on My Castle. Maybe a mage with a special tome that can create magic barriers? A beast unit who can dig trap holes? As long as it's not an overpowered feature I would be pretty excited.
  9. Bwahaha Sounds pretty cool so far. Edgy Emblem is going to be more hilarious than Fates. I think is not imposible that this happens to be true.
  10. It's going to be endless. Nah, this is not Heroes. But I hope it's a very long game, with massive content. If not, and is following the traditional path, then I want an insane amount of replayability.
  11. I'm going to quote an old wise man: I'm going to take another example: The first NES Super Mario Bros. looks pretty linear today. But it is? You can go through land, the sky, underground or underwater. You can kill goombas and koopas or ignore them. You can break blocks an discover hidden items. Heck, you can skip entire levels! If you look at the pre-SMB games you see SMB breaking linearity. Now, I feel Awakening did something similar because it mixed so much old mechanics and added new ones, and that makes a pretty customizable experience. Yes, the game mostly it is linear but you have too many ways to kill all the enemies on the map. You can go with a large party of mixed units, or 3 pairs, or all the children, or a Nosferatank grinded avatar who can wipe the floor with the enemies in a few turns (haha a way to skip a boring map), no pair ups, tree-branch type weapons as the only ones lol, etc. etc. I loved Radiant Dawn, specially the final part at the tower, because you have all the roster and weapons available there. Past chapters are great too but they feel like an scripted puzzle with not much options. Unfortunately, I think too we can only expect that from IS. It would be pretty cool if we can choose the order of the main chapters and affect the overworld like that. They can go with that system they implemented in the Fates paralogues were the enemies changes their stats depending of the main chapter you're in at that time but instead it's going to depend on how much levels you completed (paralogues + main ones). Not on all the chapters of course (like the final ones). But emergent gameplay and story are opposites in most games. Whatever, FE's plots aren't that great anyway.
  12. Based of what we know so far: 1. Beautiful HD graphics. 2. A completely different FE for a home console. 3. Will breath life into characters like never before. 4. It's going to have realistic proportions and animations like SoV. Maybe a return of the PoR-RD format mixed with the 3DS mechanics? or a Fates style game with more cringey stuff like petting with HD Rumble? Oh!, actually I'm quite sure with two things: 3d gaming in some form for the lulz and full voice acting. I'm not expecting it to be that interesting. Echoes was boring with those linear dungeons and tedious repetitive battles inside them. At this point I only want to know something. A tease, a roumor, a leak, anything is ok.
  13. Huh? No ChromXCordelia support convo? Another lie to the list if that's the case.
  14. Awakening already did that, yo No, really. I think Awakening is praised because it was breaking linearity, in a way at least. Pair-up, reclassing, paralogues, 2 modes and 4 difficulties, marriage/children, avatars, mixing skills and other mechanics helped the players to play the way they want. I experimented with the tactics, characters pairs and skills way too much, and every new run feels fresh. I don't consider Fates to be a real succesor of Awakening, because the 3 path thing locked too much content and divided the players playstyle. Make FE more non-linear. I am playing Breath of the Wild and is great. Must Have tier I say. That Zelda is full of choice and I think that could fit FE quite well for it's role playing nature. I am imagining a FE game with a large world map full of well-designed levels that I can acces from the start, building up an overpowered army, exploring non-linear dungeons to get items that can break the game, recruiting characters in the time and way I want, and much more while handling the storytelling like BotW to not mess up the players own experiences. (Yes, I'm new on the forums and english is not my native language).
