True true, but hey, it is pretty funny how Brazil is the one country in the continent that doesn't speak Spanish. Yes, I know it's because it started as a Portuguese colony but still.

Well there are the Guyanas, and there's Belize also.

  2. 1 minute ago, Armagon said:

I know you meant the Latin America of Europe but the bolded part obliterates Brazilians lmao.

Lmao, look in my defense: I know you know what I meant so I didn't feel inclined to write 50 different clauses for my joke.

Unfortunately, in current year, a few Eastern Europe countries still have segregated schools specifically to give Romani kids second-class education.

Eastern Europe honestly sounds like the Latin America of America, lol. Minus the speaking the same language part.

Reading up on it, the word gypsy is kinda slur for them over in Europe but in America, it doesn't really have negative meanings anymore.

I see. Yeah I tried to avoid using that word.

Like I get that you can't just let people freely come in but maybe streamline the immigration process then? It's bad if the borders are too tough but you also have to let people in too. It's a balancing act but also the average illegal immigrant pays more in taxes than Jeff Bezos so maybe we should strip his citizenship instead.

Yeah, I don't understand why their pea brains can't process such a simple damn thought 🤯

For example, ask a European what their opinion is on the Romani.

On that topic, I always get confused. I know Romani are not Romanians or have anything to do with Rome, I forget, don't they come from like central asia or something?

although you could argue the World Wars were just a single war with a truce period.

You could, but I wouldn't. I think the conditions were different enough to warrant it being a different war. Like I don't think WW2 was caused by WW1, it was caused by everyone liking the Nazis secretly so nobody said anything when they rose to power (except for socialists but those got suppressed more heavily) and did their shit until they got their doorsteps threatened (France, England, and the US, literally).

I like it but it does have Cold Steel moments.

Words cannot describe how dull CS1 felt, and how terrible CS2 was. I hear it gets back to being really good with Hajimari and Kuro so I want to get to them, at least.

More swing. It's something of a trend that Hispanics, specially religious ones, vote Republican. Though if I recall, it tends to be over specific reasons (abortion, stopping the "commiecrats" in the case of the Cuban-Americans, etc.), otherwise, the Republicans' WASP-ness would've turned them off a long time ago.

Republicans also are at least competent in reaching out to them. They aim for Hispanics who know little to no English to spew their propaganda.

Yeah this is specifically true, it always hurts me to see my hispanic family vote Republican cuz it's so dumb. Also because they are zealously homophic and transphobic and they won't ever budge on those because "muh religion"

Also, in large part it's the Democrats who do nothing to appeal to Hispanics.

No but ACTUALLY? I haven't gotten to CS4 yet (I beat CS2) but Ouroboros falls off so hard after Sky... it's quite sad.

Spain (and Portugal) saw the Reconquista, the longest recorded war ever fought, at like 784 years. Slowly pushing the Muslims out of Iberia. Would not surprise me if a lot of Spaniards can trace their lineage to Middle Eastern ancestors.

Hell, Latinos fall into that too if you go back far enough.

I find it also quite unfortunate that despite years of cultural cohesion and mixture, they ended up being completely kicked out and outlawed, and even to this day, at least as far as I can tell, there is a strong anti-muslim sentiment in Spain.

Maybe it's just an alt-right thing.

Also, 784 years? But was it continously one war, or was it like the 100 years war, where it was actually more like 3 wars but all super long and only with few years of peace?

Don't people usually start with 6? That's the one with all the characters everyone knows, right? Aren't the older games harder to find?

Yeah because the PC-98 games are all like, different. The character designs are different too, even though some of them are the same like Reimu or Marisa.

I started with 1 because I wanted to work my way up, lol.

Also they are really easy to find on the Moriya shrine website, so that's what I did. It even has a handy emulator guide.

I am pretty white, though I get tanned easily. But it's mostly my hairstyle. I have long black hair that I wear in a ponytail, a round beard and a stache that just can't seem to reach the beard. All in all, I do look rather arabic, I guess, even though I've no muslim blood in me that isn't as diluted as any other Spaniard's.

Long hair gang 💪, though I can't make mine into a ponytail just yet, but I can let the bangs out and the hair flow through the front of my shoulders it's pretty awesome :Lyon: (not as exaggerated as this, unfortunately)

I've also always been fascinated with people who have those big ass moustaches, how they do it? Mine doesn't seem to ever grow that way but then I see people get full on bushes lol. Genetics, probably, and for me I'd have to really look into how to condition the stache to grow. Not that it bothers me tbh. I like the little facial hair I get.

To be fair, having a strong military is good. Whether the US was right to spend so much on it compared to everything else, to the point where it's stronger than foreign militaries 2nd to 10th combined, is debatable.

Defamation laws in general are pretty weak in Europe. It's why JK Rowling can legally threaten anybody in the UK that calls her a meanie.

The other thing the U.S has over Europe is the military. I say this because even with NATO, Europe has to keep an eye out on Russia while Asia has to keep an eye out on China (and Australians have to keep an eye out on the emus). US sees China as an economic rival and Russia's just always been on our shit list but literally no other country in the world would dare a direct military attack on the US.

I don't wanna sound like I'm hacking off to the US military if that's what it sounds like, I'm just saying, it is a fact that we do have the strongest military in the world and it's not even close.

I see. Yeah US has some based things. Except the huge ass military. I mean, it does provide security but like at the expense of everything else!

    Jajajaja, que buena burla.

I guess the one called Basileus would be the king instead then, because the last Byzantine Emperor died (alongside the Empire) and his son or nephew idr, sold the title of Basileus to the first king of Spain. This I guess makes Felipe VI the living Byzantine (thus Roman) Emperor. Holding the province of Hispania, awaiting for the vessel of the Imperium Romanum until its spirit can come back from the dead.

Of course, if he began saying he was a "Basileo", he might just get even more ridiculed.

SRW, short for Super Robot Wars, is a SRPG series. Its main appeal is that it's a mega-crossover between licenced mecha series (though SRW has long added variety). Because of this, the series has been largely Japan-only, with some exceptions, mostly those that only make use of original content. The series began in 1991, and only until 2021 did we finally got a licenced game to be sold internationally. That said, a few do have fan translations, and lately the games have been receiving official English translations even if they still are only sold in East Asia, mostly thanks that online shops are no longer region-locked for the most part.

Admittedly, it might be too specific to cater to anyone. But I'd say there's still worth to try it out at least.

If I were to recommend a specific game, I've always considered SRW J to be a good entry. If not, SRW 30 has quite a few of "freeform" elements to built up a playthrough however you want.

Oh I know what SRW stands for, didn't know all that however. SRW J or SRW 30... ok I'll look into it!
