  1. TWSD is easily the weakest part of the story and unfortunately sours an otherwise interesting plot. It's even more frustating that they are necessity for Edelgard's motivation and what ultimately makes her one of the more compelling FE antagonists to date. imo they should have condensed these characters into one. Kronya and Solon easily could have been 1 character which would help a lot to make the plot flow more smoothly and give them overall more weight. I would even go so far to merge these two into the Death Knight because that's another throwaway villain who desperately needs a lot more fleshing out (no own motivation) and doesn't do anything besides popping up and teleporting away. Heck, he only gets a single CG scene out of BL and even then it's more about Mercedes than himself. Thales also needs a lot more presence in the war period because he only does things in the True BE and BL routes. In the latter as Arundel he is treated as an afterthought and that's ridicilous for one of the supposedly major villains. The most offensive part is easily Nemesis though and further downgrades their relevance in the war period. The guy has absolute no setup at all and basically just exist to add some "difference" between the Church and GD route (which is another major flaw in 3H). Even the plot seems to ridicule the TWSD at this point as one of them dies to the poisonous swamp that appeared for no reason. I guess they were self-aware after all.
  2. Why does this matter if these units' utility lie in their Faith spells, not in their combat ability which is pretty mediocre all things considered. The difference between Mage and Priest (and their promotions) is insignificant. Neither of them are going to be smiting stuff outside of Armors and for those you don't need high Mag or AS to begin with. Unless your name is Lysithea but that's the exception to the rule. Bolting? Last time I checked they mostly have Meteor and you seem to have a bad memory because I wouldn't consider 80+ as inaccurate. The thing is you don't face a single siege spell. You need to deal with multiples of them which makes them so problematic. You may not die in 1 hit from them but 2 will finish off any unit you have and let's not ignore the fact that you have a giant hole in your HP now. It makes facerolling the later chapters so much harder and it is not possible to deal with them otherwise because they outrange you. Silence has a set range, yes, but that's exactly why Marianne can make good use of it due to her easy access to a horse (and it's 8 Mov because quite frankly who doesn't pick up +1 Mov from A+ Riding). And I'm saying the only thing that matters is her ability to rally. That puts her above her anyone from Low tier (who have no future to begin with) and compared to rather underwhelming units like Ashe or Lorenz extra stats on your best unit is much more appealing. The Dark Knight stuff is a bonus at best and doesn't even factor in that much in my assessment. Not to mention you seem to underestimate just how impactful Annette's Rally really is, especially for the time you can get it. +4 Str & 4 Spd as early as Ch.4 (assuming you focus solely on Authority) turns anyone into Felix. That means they start ORKOing on their own which equals more EXP early on. That's a pretty big deal considering no one sans Byleth, the Lords and Felix can actually reliably ORKO stuff (unless they are stupidly blessed which I'm obviously ignoring) in the earlygame.
  3. I want to point out something regarding Supports changing: Some support conversations seem not only to take past circumstances or events in account but also other Supports. One example for this is Ashe x Marianne's A Support (1:05:20 in this video). But I recall that Marianne mentions Sylvain in this Support (specifically what they discussed in their B-Support) and this is confirmed in the Gfaqs script provided by Sire That means even that "full" script might need to have pointers that some lines only occur if certain conditions are met. Yorokobe, Editors. What do you guys want on your epitaph?
  4. Marianne gets Blizzard and that still puts her at an awful spot. I wouldn't call -2 MT and -10 Hit a small difference considering this is the earlygame and Magic Hit rates aren't exactly reliable (even Lysithea with Miasma hovers around 80). iirc Marianne misses some 2HKOs while Lysithea doesn't. I concede on Mercedes, I forgot she has basically the same performance with Fire as Annette with Wind. This is absolutely bogus on Marianne. The only important spell she gets from Reason is Thoron for 3 range. Fimbulvetr isn't much better than Aura considering both slow her down to a snail pace and Cutting Gale is pretty much w/e besides the low weight. Plus Marianne doesn't even excel in Reason, it's neutral for her. That's a lot of skill points you waste if you solely focus on Reason. One of the biggest niches, Marianne has over Mercedes, is her access to Silence on 8 Mov as a Holy Knight. Siege tome mages in this game are absolutely brutal and being able to shut them down reliably is a pretty useful thing to have (especially against those endgame gremories). I highly doubt that you are actually getting the class mastery on an efficient run. Compared to any of the mounted classes mages already have a hard time to get into the bulk of battle, much less said about them being exposed to multiple attacks and by the time you get Knowledge gems you are probably on your way to Advanced classes. ... and how does this contradict my point and make her a candidate to move down? One thing you can attempt to consolidate both aspects is to train her as a Cavalier to prepare for the Dark Knight promotion. Getting to Rally Mov is pretty unrealistic to begin with (S which is not really feasible) so focusing on Riding is something you can do and the requirement in Lances is C only. Of course she won't fight until post-timeskip but considering her main use is being a buff bot that doesn't really matter all that much. Though I rather keep her as a Pegasus Knight for the best mobility. I don't think I even promoted her past Pegasus Knight. *shrug*
  5. The healers are only mid because their EXP rate is atrocious and none of them contribute beyond healing your units. It's true that Physic compensates their lack of Mov but without them doing anything besides that it's hard to justify to move them anywhere higher. Especially Mercedes and Marianne have some earlygame slumbs to overcome. Dorothea has this problem on a lesser scale but past Physic and Thoron she doesn't get anything substantial which makes her not that much better. Annette has some respectable combat in the earlygame but what makes her valuable are her rallies. +4 Str & Spd is nothing to scoff at considering it basically translates to +4-16 extra damage and potentially +5 AS (assuming you reach the next threshold with the buff). That's pretty a substantial increasee and it's easy to get early on thanks to her excelling in Authority (C+ is really easy). Especially in BL where everything is "Kill Boss" a buff bot is a better deployment slot then Combat Unit #10. Alas this obviously kills her usefulness in combat but considering mages have bad Mov anyway it's not a big deal. Plus it doesn't force her to be stuck in 4 Mov unlike pure combat mages like Hubert and can focus on mobility. I could see Manuela moving down though because she only brings Warp to the table and nothing else. Her affinities are all over the place (Sword, Flying wut) and being bad in Reason gimps her heavily in meeting Gremory requirements for double Warp. Her stats are also pretty disappointing, all things considered. This is exactly why he is so bad. By the time you are reaching Chapter 5 not only should your main roster be far ahead than him (Level, weapon ranks, authority etc.), some of them should be in Intermediate classes. Cyril starts as a filthy commoner which is pretty bad all things considered. Even his growths are not that much better than any of the other students. It's around +5% more on each stat which is about as relevant as a drop of water on a lake. Crunch the numbers if you want, a leveld Cyril isn't going to be much ahead than any other unit, even compared to Ashe or Ignatz. So not only do you get him much later than any other Student, he starts as bad as them at a point far past the first chapters. That's really awful and the only reason why he doesn't place lower than Raphael or Ignatz because he has an easier time to get good. Gilbert is even worse because lol 2 Spd Armor.
  6. I'm 90% sure that's the case because I didn't unlock her paralogue on the GD route. Maybe you can get it if you reach a C-rank with Gilbert before the skip but I didn't pay too attention to that. tbf this happens to some others as well. Felix never gets the Sword fo Moralta outside of BL because you get it by talking with Rodrigue.
  7. Just going to drop my 2cents on a preliminary tier list since I completed GD and feel confident in evaluating the whole roster now. Though I do think Lunatic difficulty is going to be a much better scale to rate them on since Hard is pretty easy and that makes it not sufficient as a measurement to properly differentiate the good from the bad. tldr; I would sort them like this, assuming: Hard, Classic efficient run (low turncounts) no grinding (no auxilary battles, minus paralogues and sidequests)
  8. He is BL-only unit. You can receive faculty training and built Supports before the skip but that's about it.
  9. Since I'm finished with my BL run I want to share my evaluation on the units from the Blue Lion house. While I'm aware there is a "tier list" thread that one doesn't actually have any uniform guidelines how units are supposed to be rated and tbh making a tier list this soons seems rather premature (especially since this game offers a lot of mechanics to break it). With this in mind my points are likely not going to hold up over time since new discoveries might surface and lead to further optimization but these are my views of these units so far based on the following criteria: Hard/Classic Efficient run no grinding through auxilary battles (Paralogues and sidequests being the exception) assume the use of anything else (e.g. cooking, Green House, Forge) So without further ado, let's talk about some of these units. Dimitri like every Lord on each route he is your best unit which can be largely attributed to his boosted EXP gain and massive growths ridicilous Str helps him to double faster with heavier weapons like Steel or Silver and he has no problem to beat even Armored Knights to death high Spd and Def makes him also fast and durable throughout the entire game positive affinity in Authority allows for much faster access to the good Battalions (especially those earned from early Paralogues) investing in Riding will give him much needed mobility, making him an even better combat unit has his own Hero Relic with Atrocity being a powerful Combat Art exclusive to him his only downside is his rather low Res will truly kill every last one of them, 10/10, would recommend again Dedue strong earlygame, falls off as time goes on between 12 Base Str and 12 total Def with his personal Talent active Dedue excels in luring groups of enemies and weakening them this of course means your snobs and noobs can safely earn levels to leave their base class behind which is very valuable in the earlygame adding a Shield for even higher Def makes him indestructible pre-timeskip thanks to the existence of Gauntlets Dedue can bypass his lacklustre Spd and still retain a respectable offense negative affinity in Riding and Flying is his downfall, meaning once Intermediate classes become available he falls off hard due to his lack of mobility options even going from Fortress Knight -> Great Knight will prove to be difficult even if you start investing early on while I usually don't like to list this as a positive his paralogue gives you an excellent Battalion in Duscur Heavy Knights which gives +10 Prt once maxed out Felix possibly the best earlygame unit, even surpassing Byleth and Dimitri for a time essentially starts with 15 Str since his personal will always be active early Battalions are pretty bad, too, so there is no reason to assign one to Felix good Str and Spd ensures he will start doubling early on with Swords and can snowball fast into a strong combat unit his Crest proc rate tends to be pretty high, being not a minor variant like most others and might help him achieving some extra kills still, I would not recommend relying on it having an affinity for Bows gives him a strong ranged option he will have some durability issues in the lategame but with Bows he won't be in range and with Swords he will have learnt Swordbreaker to safely avoid Axe users lack of Authority is his biggest weakness post-timeskip since high-ranked Battalion will offer a lot more benefits than his personal talent and he has a hard time gaining ranks in it please do not make him a mage; he has an awful base with bad growths and his spell list is equally terrible. That Budding Talent in Reason is a pitfall. Mercedes Healer ... what, that's basically the best description for her between Physic, Restore and Fortify Mercedes has all the good healing spells and thanks to her high Mag she will have an excellent Physic range she has a basic list of Reason spells though some like Bolganone and Ragnarok have high MT, giving her offensive potential unfortunately Holy Knight is a rather difficult class to access due to her negative affinity for Lances which is a requirement for it on the other hand her wide reach allows her to perform well as a healer even without high movement with a positive affinity in Reason and Faith she has no problem to become a Gremory for doubled magic use, giving her more than enough uses of her ranged spells Ashe probably the worst unit of the Blue Lions but still serviceable enough has high Dex and Spd though his low Str can be a hindrance preventing him to double with heavier weapons between his affinity for Bows and eventually Lances he makes a good candidate for a Bow Knight, allowing him to circumvent his durability problems with great weapon range lacks durability and post time-skip it isn't surprising to see him get killed with 2 hits, if not 1 this also makes him rather iffy for a frontliner as a potential Wyvern Rider or Paladin Locktouch can be nice early on but doesn't do that much for him and Chest Keys are readily buyable from shops Annette good unit, even if she would have no stats her personal talent is amazing and her ranks in Authority grant her Rally Spd (C) and Movement (A+ or S, I think), making her the best rally bot in the game has high Mag but nothing else; she is a magical nuke with the paperthin durability early on she will start doubling earlier than others due to her Spells weighning nothing but later on she will eventually stop doing so due to her disappointing Spd it's still good enough to double and ORKO all of those Fortress Knights post-timeskip who are exceedingly durable against physical attacks with Excalibur she has no problem taking out Fliers with a single attack Sylvain makes for a solid Cavalier and even has the right affinities for accessing this class asap alternatively he can take advantage of his Axe rank and become a Wyvern Rider though this will take some effort with his neutral affinity in Flying. has solid stats with no real weaknesses; he's not on Dimitri's or Byleth's level but good enough nonetheless his Personal is a small bonus but it's nice to have and it's easy to trigger gets a personal Combat Art that gives any weapon the Brave effect he has another personal Combat Art from his Relic, the Lance of Ruin, meaning he is well equipped to deal with any kind of enemy he comes across Ingrid pretty sure she wrote the book on becoming a Pegasus Knight her low Str doesn't matter much due to her excellent Spd, allowing her to wield heavier weapons to compensate it. once she masters the Pegasus class she will gain Darting Blow, further raising her AS The Flying class in general is busted in this game and tend to be must-haves in certain maps that require fast saves of NPCs or other mission objectives based on this Ingrid is just a good unit to have around and one of the best to heavily invest in gets the Relic Luin from her paralogue, giving her a strong exclusive Combat Art in Burning Quake that scales Mt with her Spd will probably need some levels in either Axes or Riding since Falcon Knight is a Master class and keeping her as a Pegasus till she can access it is probably not a good idea either Paladin or Wyvern Rider make for a good intermediate option until she reaches Lv.30. Recommended Students for Recruitment: Disclaimer: I'm only listing those I deem of worthy a note. You are free to recruit everyone of course but even with the whole "everyone is viable" statements running around there are units that will inevitably perform better than others and you might want to priotize them over others. There is also the thing that you won't be able to actually use all of these anyway due to the strict deployment limit in missions. Leonie: Amazing Cavalier candidate and pairs very nicely with Sylvain as they basically share their Personal talent (curse that B Support limit *shakes fist*). Lorenz: Like Leonie he makes for a fine Cavalier with very little downsides. You just can't have enough mounted units in this game. Ferdinand: Another good Cavalier though in many ways he is a watered-down Sylvain lacking his relic and having a worse personal. If you want a Great Knight he is the most qualified unit for it. Marianne: Compared to Mercedes she has the right affinities to access the Holy Knight class and her offensive spells are better between Thoron and Aura. While she loses out on some useful spells like Restore or Fortify her she is the only one who can access the Silence spell and its incredible usefulness against some of the grievances you might encounter (*cough* siege spells *cough). Lysithea: Warp. Compared to Linhardt or Manuela she gets it at a mere B rank, making her the ideal choice for the warpless BL roster. Having Dark mage spells with her useful debuffs makes her even better and with Thyrsus she will boast a great spell range. Excellent mage. Bernadetta: A substantially better Ashe to the point that it hurts. Her personal compensates her low Str while she has a much easier to fulfill the Bow Knight requirements with her affinities in Lance, Bow and Riding. Petra: Makes an excellent candidate for the Wyvern Rider class with her affinity for Axes and Flying. Again, Fliers are extremely good and Petra alongside Ingrid are the best at accessing them.
  10. Leaving someone in range of the stationary wolves will also aggro the boss. You can't miss that since the boss will say something once he starts moving. This paralogue is ... really easy (playing Blue Lions on Hard, Classic) you only need to figure out the rules (which you have Divine Pulse for). You only need to follow the path towards the left side of the map and proceed to eliminate all the Demonic Beasts you come along the way. The reinforcements of the east are arriving relatively late so you have plenty of time to get to Marianne. Once you are there with your army you just overwhelm the boss. The Wandering Beast isn't even that strong it only has a lot of HP and still dies to concentrated gambit attacks like every monster. Though I guess you are on a timer once you start fighting the boss since you can get overwhelmed from the right side with all the reinforcements and wolves moving towards you (with monsters typically not being easy to take out en masse).
  11. As for your last line: 1. The most recent hardest fight I hear of is Kama with 100% event gauge. That one requires stall. a. Obvioulsy the 0% gauge can be cleared through rushing. But since it's a lesser version of the harder fight stalling should work just as well. 2. Nothing in Case Files Collab suggests that stalling wouldn't work. On the other hand I heard nothing of a really tough fight either. 3. CCC rerun had Kingprotea who only leaves 2 options: Either you end her in 1 turn or you stall her out until her gimmick runs out. Both are viable options. 4. Entirety of LB3 (especially that one fight) is considered the biggest difficulty spike post-Skadi. Didn't really found anything but otoh 5. Only the Sherlock CQ matches your description as that one piles up buffs and requires a fast clear. Ironically the first clear I found features Vlad with double Tamamo, so ... So patently false are your claims, I'm afraid. Also, ironically enough, some of the faster Arts team clears I found involve Tamamo, using her NP and damage buffs to ensure NPs in quick succession while being massively buffed from her skills. So this comes as very funny to me: You sure you're not selling Summer BB + Merlin as an Arts team? B stands for Buster, you know? tbh I'm very skeptical about your claims of JP because on paper while it seems a lot different from the current NA format (ST -> AoE shift being the biggest culprit) nothing suggests that it becomes that much harder and phases out existing teams. If anything I suspect that the Skadi rush lead people to use the more comfortable option rather than actually working out a stall team (because that's the majority of clears I found). Plus you see Honako still doing 1-3* clears so everything is more than manageable. Honako wins. Fatality. ----------------- Yes. In NA: Yan Qing: 20158 Kojiro (NP5, no grail): 22306 Yan Qing is unfortunately pretty underwhelming and post-buff the gap becomes even more favorable for Kojiro (because he got an actual NP strengthening). Even with his skill upgrade Yan Qing is ... just there. For all intents and purposes Hassan is a better choice if you need someone who can supply stars and not only is he far more durable, he has a cheap deployment cost as well. This holds especially true once he gets buffed, making one of the best star generators in the game.
  12. On the other hand none of the others can provide skill upkeep at the levels of her. Which can include Crit buffs and batteries from other sources. With the exception of Merlin they also lack her capability of providing consistent sustain. Skadi and Zhuge Liang have defense buffs but that's hardly a replacement and precisely the reason why these two ultimately fail at certain type of quests (at least Skadi, Zhuge Liang usually leeches off from another Support). And this kind of thinking made stop caring because in the grand scheme of things no strategy is better or worse than the other. The FGO "meta" doesn't exist in the first place and there is no need to establish one. "Blitzing" might be better for most quests but then outright fails in others. How can this be the "superior" strategy? It fails to cover a portion of the game. On the other hand "slow-play" will always work. It takes time (Jeanne teams especially *cough*) but you will complete the quest in a reliable manner. Pre-Skadi (or even Pre-Merlin) era is the perfect proof that it works and even now Arts team are seeing widespread use, even in JP (which means less relevant doesn't apply in the first place). Considering there is demand for them dismissing them is incredibly foolish. This obviously doesn't excuse actual bad Servants. e.g. Osakabehime, Yu and Miyu are still very much bad for gameplay purposes and there exists a relative scale of whether something is better or worse (nobody is stupid enough to put Hans over Merlin). It's the reason why I created my F2P list in the first place. But in case of these Casters; e.g. Tamamo in particular may lack the sheer broken skill sets of Merlin or Skadi but on the other hand she is very much carried by what kind of Servants you pair her up with and she ultimately makes up an important for 2 of 3 commonly used Arts teams. By that point we're comparing card teams and in my eyes it's so unnecessary to discuss this. EDIT: My head hurt after typing this wall above. Now I got a seizure trying to comprehend the individual who mashed all these sci-fi franchises together. Just ... why?
  13. I mean one could say Tamamo still covers most of the important bases and can be used in all kinds of CQ while Skadi fails at anything that requires endurance. So Skadi <<< Tamamo, right? tbh the more I hear these kind of discussions or arguments about those 4 I grow more apathetic to them. As I said, Altera did this before and she didn't go anywhere. Arthur only has his battery over her and that's not that much of a difference. Die in a fire. ... why must MHXA reference the Avengers again? I thought she was based of another franchise. Hold it, Satan. Stop breaking the game when we don't have to. As long as we don't ram the buff cap (which never happens unless you deliberately try to reach it) more damage isn't exactly bad. If anything it is another source of Crit Dmg she would lack without Merlin or Zhuge Liang around. Though I don't see the reason why she is the one who gets an upgrade, especially through an Interlude. There are so many other Servants that need heavy touch-ups
  14. Aside from Raikou all of them fall into the category of "not critting" though so it's still a very questionable Strengthening round. Scratch that, this round is just bad. DW still trying to salvage Osakabehime. Cute. Arthur's ... ok, I suppose? 30 Stars every 5 turns is pretty good but the Crit buff doesn't do much for him with him lacking a way to improve his star weight. At the very least his NPBB is going to hit hard but he is more in need of a NP Interlude. As it is Altera is just better at being the AoE Crit Saber (whatever that niche is worth) at the virtue of having Merlin around. MHX Alter's puzzling, to say the least. A small Crit buff distributed to all of her card types is not good. This is one of the most wasteful buffs, DW has ever given out. Wu's Strengthening is interesting in a sense that she already provides a solid damage buff for her team, now she can remove buffs on top of that. I would say she is the winner- oh wait there's one more. Raikou's stupid. She is that one Berserker who doesn't need to get better. Why was this necessary again? Yeah, it's not like she doubles NP damage with her skills, right? Oh wait, she does. The only thing that really sucks about her is Morph. At the very least you can just give her a Taunt CE and let her soak up damage.
  15. Final tally says 669M+ damage. Sweet Revenge. CQ went relatively smoothly aside from Ibaraki randomly critting away Gil. Only meant that in the end Bedivere could slap her in the face. Satisfying enough I suppose. I also wasted my accumulated tickets to get Gorgon or Stheno on the 6M campaign but I only have NP4 Elisabeth and a copy of Origin Bullet to show. Meh. My random spending will spell my doom once October hits. --------
  16. Well, that's what I meant. Plus Alexander does a lot more damage than Blackbeard besides his buffs so there should be a tier difference between these two and him. I can see that. Kiyohime doesn't outdamage him significantly and she just has marginally better NP gain which probably won't matter much for farming purposes. Stalking is an ok def debuff but it's just another small win. Yeah, I'll move him up. For Touta I'm waiting for his NP Interlude before placing him in B-Tier. Fergus on the other hand is a bit iffy. He is essentially pure stats and little else. Compared to everything in B-Tier he does pale a bit. On the other hand Boudica gives the team a 44% damage increase vs Mash's 30%. Her values on her defense buffs are better overall but Boudica's is still good enough to ensure survival through buff stacking during NP turns. I would say Boudica is B-Tier, she does work as a Support despite being largely NP-reliant and even though it's not that special it's better than being entirely vanilla-flavoured. This is an interesting statement considering I don't see anyone really use Mephisto besides in very specific quests (e.g. Solomon). He can be useful againt break bars but most of the time there are other sources for combating buffs so he is pretty niche. Not to mention it comes at the expense of him heavily lacking in other areas like his bad NP. That being said I'm probably moving him up to C since he can potentially see more use than anything in D-Tier right now when it comes to CQ. No to that last statement. He is absolutely not A-Tier. Even post-Strengthening this guy has severe issues, starting from his terrible NP to unreasonable skill CD. His NP gain is especially bad for a Caster. I could see him post-buff in B at best as he does contribute to certain farming setups (like Summer Mordred) but this guy is not viable for anything else. Looking at what A-Tier has Paracelsus is significantlly worse. Also if I calculated correctly Paracelsus deals 19920 damage with Grail, 25896 with Waver buffs. That's very underwhelming, even pre-Strengthening Babbage without Grail has the about the same damage output under the same conditions. It's not like Paracelsus has great refund and RDW has a massive CD tacked on it so basically Black Grail only makes him comparable to any other Servant with Kaleidoscope. This is an argument against him tbh, though I guess being somewhat useable for farming has its merits. And she does nothing else. That's her biggest problem. max. 60% debuff for 1 turn and 40% for 3 turns isn't anything to scoff at but when it comes at the expense of everything else this becomes problematic for her viability. It is also only applicable against males and against non-males it becomes 40%, then 20% which is a lot worse to look at (and the 3-turn debuff is ST). Also compared to Mephistopheles (who imo has the same problem) her niche is a lot more replaceable (basically stack 2 Charisma for the same result) and considering that her drawbacks weigh heavier. So with most of the input in mind:
  17. Thinking about my list a bit more I think need to introduce a new tier. I abhor introducing more tiers than necessary but seeing how inflated B-Tier and revisiting some placement relations between B and C-Tier let me come to this conclusion. Best example for my problem is Romulus vs Hektor. The latter is better but not by that much that it would warrant a entire tier difference . Damage-wise Romulus without Privilege lags behind ~800 points with Hektor having some few small wins in better NP effects. Both have pretty mediocre skills. Another one is Blackbeard vs Medusa/Alexander. He does similar amount of damage to the former but lacks her Np gain + battery while Alexander outdamages him by a noticeable amount while providing 2 team-wide buffs. In everything else he is much worse due to being a 2*. So I would re-arrange the list like this: Any thoughts?
  18. After spending all my current rice supply on today's raid I'm now at over 320M damage. Today's release of a certain series describes this perfectly:
  19. On the other hand Yu's biggest limitation is the buff removal on her NP. If you take that out of the picture she is at the very least workable with her decent skills and if they bundle it with a NP Interlude to mitigate her horrible Atk stat there's an elegant solution for her. Miyu, however, makes me wonder: Where do you even start? 2 of her skills makes no sense for her role and even if you remove the massive HP cost from her NP it's just a worse version of Merlin's.
  20. The same people who made Miyu. Everything balances itself out in the end. ----- I'm a bit over 120M now, still got all the riceballs. Probably will use my current supply for the next day since it drops Proofs (and Lamps I don't need but w/e), the rest of them will be burned on the last day (Gears + Hearts). Also finished my 4th Grail Servant with Leonidas using the shop EXP. Good stuff, now I just need to bully Ibaraki for the Lores. What's everybody doing with their daily AP? I found myself a new hell in Proofs and doing the Pirate Ship node robbed me my sanity once again. tbf I've got nothing else to do, I'm done with all the Interludes and Rank-Up Quests I could unlock so far.
  21. Yeaaaaaah, not to be rude but the fact that Silque is not S while relatively replaceable combat units place above her doesn't really bode well with the whole "efficiency" criteria. You also need a better format, the list is hard to read. Regarding the branching promotions; most of the Villagers end up very similarly due to the way class bases overtake growths in this game. Only few stand out in their respective branches (e.g. Mage!Tobin, Cleric!Faye) so it might be a good idea to bundle them up in one category. Here's an example using Alm's route (with explainations for each unit):
  22. They should be separated. You only get access to the entire roster at the very last chapter so it's better to treat each group separately. Good Units (Alm): - Alm (very strong start, falls off during late Ch.3/early Ch.4 due to low movement and being dependent on his growths, picks up again in the lategame after promotion to Hero, getting access to Bows) - Merc!Grey (Levin Sword carries him throughout the game and Dread Fighters are very useful in Ch.4) - Silque (Warp) Good Units (Celica): - Saber (perfect availability, solid start, Dread Fighter are (again) a very strong class) - Palla (flier are so valuable on Celica's chapters because of the constant sand and swamp terrain, Falcon Knight also gains bonus damage against terrors) - Catria (Palla-lite but still very good) Generally considered "Bad Units": - Forsyth (underwhelming base level, Knights have low mov in a game that heavily favors mobility, bad res will get him killed against witches) - Boey (very weak start, doesn't get his good spells until much later and even then he is not great) - Est (while she is a flier she comes horribly underleveled to the team)
  23. Relevant Support Line-Up: - Merlin with MLB Carp - Gilgamesh with MLB Shana-O - Scáthach with MLB Shana-O - Zhuge Liang with MLB Carp Gilgamesh + Merlin + Zhuge Liang ends the Bully node in 2-3 turns. Fastest clear on 3 BP was 6(?) turn-ish, Gil had NPBB with Hero Creation. Mystic Code was the Anniversary Blonde. I'm probably sticking to 2 BP you still ram the damage point ladder with that node and it's more BP efficient for currency from what I gather. Oh, Ibaraki, I'm going to bully you to death. *insert gilgamesh laugh*
  24. @JSND Alter Dragon Boner Yeah, my biggest issues with him is his subpar durability and a certain reliance on passive star gen to fully take advantage of his offensive capabilities. They can be circumvented but it requires specific partners and that limits potential team compositions with him. I find it even weirder if people have 10/10/10 NP2+ Servants but don't do their Interludes or Rank-Up Quests. -------- *crawls out of hell* ~130 Bones, ~100 Horseshoes and ~20 Hearts for 20 Silver and 35 Golden Apples was a good haul overall (can't say how many Fangs I got, my storage says 100+ now). Though I should have spent more apples on the Bone node since I'm stuck on Drake's 2nd Ascension (22 bones, ugh). Bone hell never ends. Not going to farm the rest of the Hunting Quest, the drops don't interest me at all. The extra gold EXP was very welcome for my stragglers (Karna, Suzuka, BB) and the rest of my F2P roster. I had enough to start leveling up my gacha SRs, with Atalante, Martha, Carmilla and Cas Gil being at max. level now. 160M QP isn't looking that great but it's the Lores that limit me. With the current prospect I'll probably continue to raise my 2nd Archive since I don't have anything worthwhile left to raise with the EXP from coming events and montly shop. But first I will focus on feeding Leonidas to 90. Speaking of which: It's time to bully Bananas again. 22.05 will mark the start of Rashomon re-run. Onigashima was also announced but no ETA yet (probably on the 31th or the week after). Probably means we will get Agatha mid-June so they have everything ready for the Anniversary. We also get 10 free SQ from the panel and another 10 from the 700 days Anniversary arriving on the 25th. Good stuff. EDIT: @Tolvir Just a heads-up, I think your Support row is messed up. You have a bunch of slots without CEs.
  25. He is not going to be alone for long, Columbus will join him soon enough. I won't include Salieri, Izou and Red Hare either. Though I guess if someone is interested: - Gilles: D - Columbus: B - Salieri: A/EX (probably A though) - Izou: A - Red Hare: B This is probably how I would place them on the list if they were fully accessible to F2P.
