Why not? I want my games to be pretty. I don't just play a game for the sake of playing it. Aesthetics matters. Otherwise, I would've just emulated it by now.
EDIT: Just looked them up on eBay. The lowest-priced ones, brand new and sealed, just below $80. I *think* those could be the new prints from last year, which I'm not a big fan of (I think they don't even have a game manual).
I don't know, OP seemed unsure about paying 100$ for the game, if they are so unsure they should have emulated or bought a used copy instead of going 100% in on a new copy.
That, and I'm kinda confused by your post, I wasn't saying you should or should not buy a new copy. You seem pretty sure of yourself in wanting the game and in what condition. My post was mostly directed at TheCrowScout, I don't even know you or your opinions on game collecting.

...Are you planning on actually playing it? You shouldn't have bought a sealed copy if you're actually going to play it, imo.

So happy that the bulk is Fates and Awakening. Those old games had their chance and the newer games should get the main stuff. The old games had books, so I don't know why people expected them.
Admittedly, I wish Chrom and Azura were there instead of Eliwood and Lucina.
The info about Tellius is also great. of course 9-14 whip the early titles so i don't care but controversial opinions and all that
Please direct me to books that were made for The Sacred Stones, PoR, and Radiant Dawn.
I actually think FE6 did get some sort of character book.

Read Kaga's quote.
He's just talking about BSFE, which is about Camus, and Marth's pals. Unless I misunderstand. Kaga avoided saying he was working on a N64 game, and the Camus game was used with the Broadcast System, or whatever it was called.
EDIT: reading again, Vincent says down the page that Kaga's Archanea plans fell through.
I understand now. So, BSFE doesn't actually line up with what Kaga was talking about.

I read on SF that FE N64 was originally going to be another Archanea game, with the story revolving around Camus and Michalis. I wished they had made it after reading that piece of info.
Edit: typo.
...Where exactly did you read that on SF? SF's page on FE64 mentions nothing being known about the game.

I'm also pretty disappointed, I didn't expect too much on early FEs, as this is one book dedicated to 14 games, but I was hoping for info on more recent FEs. In a somewhat even distribution. (The GBA and Gamecube/Wii games)
Like.... I'd love to know behind the scenes stuff about Magvel.
I bet they were totally going for a FE2 type routesplit.That, and I was hoping for Gaiden info.

FE64 being FE6 is something I was hoping for from the book, at least. That's interesting.
But to be honest, I am kinda confused at their choice of cover...? Why have Ike, Eliwood Marth and Sigurd (4/5ths of the cover being older FE) and then just Lucina? I would at least expect a character from Fates to feature there.

Hm, the book really is mostly about Awakening/Fates? Aw... Well, still look forward to dev info.

Eh... I kinda gave up on their writing ability at Awakening, so maybe I accepted the idea that they were delusional earlier? lol
I just have low expectations in general, I guess. (But this topic is for Fates info, maybe FE64 info should go in the topic over in the FE general section.)

TBH, I'm way more excited for FE64 info over getting mad at Fate's story. For the moment, anyway.

I searched the wiki and they used "Seiji" as a Japanese name instead of the Kanji.

Looks like it varies by game, the kanji version (which is on the card) is the most common, while the katakana version is only used in FE4/5.

Alright, I've been looking at it, and is it just me, or is her neck really tiny? Like, I mean in width, it looks like it doesn't go to the back of her head?

I agree completely, but I cannot for the life of me find a mouth that will work. I can't use the mouth that goes with the head I used because it's a pair of bright red lips, and that goes against the look I'm going for, lol. It doesn't help that I want her to look like she's frowning, not smiling.
So I basically winged it and tried to fix her mouth on my own. It looks stupid, IMO, but I can't tell which is worse: the straight mouth, or this. lol
You have the right idea, but make the near side of the mouth longer. (You want me to throw pixels on it or no?)

If I remember correctly, they did show Amie on the Treehouse stream. While yes, it was the Japanese game since they demo was not complete up to that point in English, but I highly doubt they would show something publicly that they were going to censor.
I'm late, but you remember incorrectly. They didn't show it, they mostly walked around my castle. I don't think they even went to the 'my room'.
