I think the name is supposed to be a pun based off of the word Malignant. At least, that's what I heard somewhere -shrug-
I don't really see a pun there, just "Malignant" cut in half.

Actually, I wanted to discuss about that, but I'm waiting for next week numbers to come out. But if you see reference to the previous week numbers (12/21 - 12/27), keep in mind that the game was released the 26th, so... 2 days.
I'm no expert on this subject, but most people I've seen commenting on that did not seemed to have taken this into account.
I will probably comment further when the "second week" numbers come out, since we will have the 2 first days, plus the first "full" week after release.
I don't disagree, but don't games like this make their best sales in the first day or so? I eagerly await next weeks numbers, regardless, but I'm not expecting a huge improvement.

Hm, I get disconnected more than the ink lagging, I haven't had any lag issues with the ink in forever. Think one of the recent patches got rid of that for the most part. (and I'm on a wireless router that is from 2005 so yeah lol)

There's really no "official" spelling of the Japanese names in English.
NoJ romanizations, generally featuring on the official site and artbooks are generally considered the official 'English' spellings of Japanese names.

This game barely has dark magic (One tome, nosferatu.), makes me wonder if they're going to eventually dump dark magic too.

I paid my preorder in full the day they put preorders up. My preorder is still good according to my Power Up Rewards account. I know that GameStop tends to take too many preorders and they cancel the ones who haven't paid in full if it gets to the point where they have to cancel. They better not cancel mine, but I don't think they will because FE is not very popular where I live and I placed it early.
I didn't even realize I could check my preorders on there. Currently, mine is still preordered.

I liked how the singing sounded in the recently released footage. I thought the lyrics were fine regardless, though I never really listen to lyrics in the first place. (I tend towards more instrumental music in general though.)

I liked Garon's voice. Not used to not-deep Xander, but the English voice doesn't sound.... bad... just not what I'm used to.

I think Garrick is the Laziest of them all, I had to look him up just to figure out who he was.
they should have used Mustafa or Walmart, thoes two have way mor personality and character than what's his face.
but then again Atlus is known for making amazing stories and characters, so I'll just wait and play the game before I start making judgements
I doubt Lon'qu, Garrick, Aversa, Abel, and Gangrel are the only notable enemies in the game.

It doesn't help that nothing ever tells you about the convoy feature becoming a thing. I don't blame the OP for not noticing this.
I honestly always thought the convoy was available from the start...

I don't know if it's a bug, the Convoy just doesn't exist (see by standing next to Chrom) before C3.
So it lets you "send to convoy" before you have a convoy? That seems like a fairly big oversight... interesting.
