  1. Charlotte!Midoriko has potential to be pretty nasty. Charlotte: 3/0/0/2/0/-2/-2 Kaze: -2/0/2/3/-2/-1/1 Midoriko: 1/1/3/6/-1/-2/0. Charlotte fixes up Kaze's lower strength, but also enhances his speed tremendously. Berserker Midoriko will hit 41 strength, 35 skill and 39(!!) speed. She can also get access to Extravagance, Luna(Kaze with Silas/Xander and Charlotte with Pieri), and on Third Route she can nab Breaking Sky(A+ Kinu or marriage to Shinonome) and Ogre Strike(Charlotte A+ with Rinkah). She could do something like this: Axefaire Extravagance Luna/Breaking Sky Copycat Ogre Strike/Overbearing/Deadly Breath/Swordbreaker(Latter three come from a marriage to Lutz) --- For your Matoi question, I just thought something like this. You may want to consider what the A+ options are for each character, just to make sure everything lines up for both Matoi and Kanna. Hinoka!Matoi: 1/0/2/0/0/3/2 Just to take an inventory of notable skills, here are who each parent can A+ with. Tsubaki: Hinata(not useful), Saizou(Snake Venom, Lethality, Copycat), Asama(Magic Counter) and Zero(Movement+1, maybe Kunaibreaker?) Hinoka: Azura(not useful unless she gives Hinoka something other than Peg), Sakura(Magic Counter), Setsuna(Prescient Victory, Raven Strike, Bowfaire) and Camilla (Deadly Breath, Overbearing, Swordbreaker) Matoi: Sophie(Open Assault, Aegis, Luna, Diamond Strike), Shara(not useful for Hinoka!Matoi), Mitama(same as Asama), Eponine(same as Zero) I might go something like Tsubaki A+ Saizou, Hinoka A+ Setsuna, and Matoi A+ Sophie, to have this inheritance: Tsubaki passes Copycat Hinoka passes Prescient Victory *Pass Lethality and Magic Counter for Streetpass Matoi A+ Sophie (gets access to Paladin for a class option and the skills I mentioned) Swallow Strike, Breaking Sky, Lancefaire, Prescient Victory, Open Assault/Diamond Strike/Copycat For asset/flaw, I'm leaning a bit towards +Spe/-Def or +Spe/-Lck. Speed, as we've established, is Matoi's weakest stat, so she is going to want to have her child improve on that. Defense is a little more expendable, so I'm going to go with that as our example: Avatar: 0/0/2/4/1/-3/-1 Hinoka!Matoi: 1/0/2/0/0/3/2 Kanna: 1/0/4/4/1/0/1 Now KannaF has quite a few solid A+ options. Midoriko allows her to pick up Extravagance, Kinu can give her Breaking Sky(if you opted to pass something other than that), Mitama gives Tomefaire for magic builds and Magic Counter, and Velour gives the Berserker option and Axebreaker. All of her Hoshido husbands give something useful. Her Nohr/both route husbands not so much imo but they could still work. Foleo/Deere in particular could be useful if you're having her end as a White Blood or Falcon Knight. Usually I think you should be fine passing Breaking Sky with a few exceptions: If you want her to end in a specific class that uses lances you might want to pass Lancefaire, or if you want to take advantage of Copycat's utility, you can pass that to give her more free reign in husband choice. I might do something like this: Avatar passes whatever Matoi passes Breaking Sky Kanna A+ Midoriko Swallow Strike, Breaking Sky, Extravagance, Luna/Swordfaire/Servant's Joy/Copycat(dependent on husband), something else From here, I think you should be able to determine what class option would suit Matoi and Kanna best, given what is available to each of them through A+ supports and Kanna's husbands. (if you're focusing on Streetpass though, Oni Savage is an easy choice)
  2. This is also going to depend on who their husbands are. Vaike gives a bunch of good physical support skills and some decent class options, while Donnel is a little bit better for a female frontliner due to Galeforce. Gaius completely overshadows him in that regard, but some (in practice, only two) Donnel kids are alright for that purpose. That being said, Kjelle uses Galeforce a lot better than Nah ever could because unlike Nah, Kjelle has a bunch of procs to take advantage of it with.
  3. Out of those ones, the Oboro/Rinkah support and the Ryoma/Rinkah with Shinonome marrying Dark Mage(Ophelia) are the only ones that work. Rinkah's A+ options are actually kinda limited. This page should contain all of the possible marriages and A+ supports.
  4. From what I understand it is something like this: *If the Avatar mothers two children,(or fathers, in the case of Azura) both of them inherit Dark Prince/Princess, similar to how Morgan + sibling would both inherit Tactician access. *The Avatar's spouse gets access to Avatar's chosen secondary class with Marriage Seal, as would Kanna's spouse and those who A+ with Kanna.
  5. Yeah, when I was listing the A+ supports I was mostly thinking of how it would benefit the characters in general. You're right in saying that Charlotte!Sophie only would really want Matoi as her A+, because of Fighter overlap. There are tons of variables in what each kid is able to get this time around Sophie could also get access to Copycat from Silas A+ Kaze. Silas A+ options are much better than Jakob's imo, and that's one thing that Sophie can take fuller advantage of. I'm not quite sure how Logbook skills work, or if they're going to be changed for other releases so I'm not taking it into consideration at this time. If it is how I've heard, then skills might just be a matter of creating a bunch of files to buy skills to fill in the gaps for the final kids. And Leif, there's a google doc for the A+ supports on the first page. There should be a section that includes all the A+ options in one place, or at least that's what I'm working with.
  6. There was a topic I found saying that for the seals, if a unit has access to the A+ support's base class naturally, the Buddy/Marriage Seal will have the same function as a Parallel Seal. (ex. if Belka marries Harold, she can reclass to Fighter through Marriage Seal, rather than Cavalier) This also means that my plan to get Swallow Strike on Hana!Deere will not work, so back to the drawing board. Charlotte!Kinu is another one to consider. Skill is very low but there's not much that can be done about it because of Nishiki's -3 base. Mods: 5/1/-2/5/2/-3/1 If she goes Berserker, she'd basically be a faster Charlotte!Velour with Breaking Sky. Charlotte!Sophie is Charlotte!Deere with more magic. In fact Sophie is functionally just a female Deere with Mercenary instead of Rod Knight, more magic capability and arguably better A+ options for both father and child. (Jakob's only useful A+ is Takumi - all of his others give Cav which is redundant) Mods: 5/1/3/3/0/-1/-2 For reference, Deere's A+ options are Kisaragi/Gurei/Lutz. (Bowman/Ninja/Wyvern) Sophie's A+ options are Matoi, Soleil and Velour (Pegasus/Nothing/Fighter. Peg and Fighter by themselves give her a strong case though.) Charlotte!Lutz looks solid too, even if it's mostly for mods. Lutz I think will get Rod Knight from the marriage, so I'm not sure if it's the best for him skillwise, but it could work. Mods: 5/1/4/3/-2/0/-2 No pairing involving Charlotte really strikes me as bad. Gurei and Ignis get their speed patched up, Charlotte!Soleil wants a proc but there's a few ways she can get it, and Charlotte!Ophelia can do physical or mixed if she really wants to. Charlotte!Foleo is probably her worst, mostly because Leo's mods squander Charlotte's advantages, namely being a physically strong and fast mother with access to Berserker and Hero.
  7. I'm actually considering Effie!Velour over Charlotte!Velour for a few reasons. One, because Siegbert kinda wants Charlotte too, and two, Effie actually has a few notable skills over Charlotte for Velour to inherit. Just for comparison, here's a few notable skills that each mother can get through A+ supports. Charlotte: Counter, Ogre Strike, Lancebreaker(Rinkah), Open Assault, Aegis, Luna, Diamond Strike(Pieri), Swordbreaker, Deadly Breath, Overbearing(Belka) Effie: Vantage, Swordfaire, Strength Seal, Line of Death(Hana), Demoiselle, Battle Command, Tomebreaker(Elise), Aptitude, Underdog, Strength Seal, Line of Death, Extravagance(Mozume) Both: Bind, Bowbreaker, Lifetaker(Nyx) Velour can also inherit Luna from Flannel A+ Benoit. For Effie!Velour I'm thinking about something like this. Again, this is under the assumption that for Buddy Seals and special classes, the secondary class is given as an option. -Swallow Strike (Marries Shigure) -Breaking Sky (Flannel A+ with Nishiki) -Extravagance (Effie A+ with Mozume) -Axefaire -Odd Fang --- Just to give reference since I'm posting a bit, here's what I've come up with so far for my pairings. I am working with a few unfounded assumptions (Buddy Seal + secondary class, only one character can be A+ by a unit) so they're subject to change as I hear of more or less restrictions. Azura!Kinu/Avatar (+Spe/-Lck, Oni Savage) (Kinu A+ Midoriko) *Kinu inherits Magic Counter from Azura A+ Sakura (Priestess) Kinu's class set is Fox Spirit, Spellcaster, Pegasus Knight, Oni Savage and Herb Merchant (High speed Fox Spirit) Nishiki!Shigure/Effie!Velour (Shigure A+ Hisame, Velour A+ Kanna) *Velour inherits Extravagance from Effie A+ Mozume unless I give it to Shara *I have absolutely no clue how Shigure's inheritance is going to work. Can he get a non-singing Songstress skill like how Inigo could get Luck+4 from Olivia? Shigure's class set is Pegasus Knight, Rod Knight, Spellcaster, Fighter?(not sure of this) and Samurai (Magic support or mixed offense) Velour's class set is Garou, Fighter, Knight, Pegasus Knight and Oni Savage (Physical beatstick) Kinu!Kanna/Camilla!Shinonome (Kanna A+ Mitama, Shinonome A+ Gurei) *Not quite set on Kanna's inheritance from Avatar yet, but she will get Extravagance from Kinu *Shinonome inherits Swallow Strike from Ryoma's Pegasus Knight, not sure what to pass from Camilla Kanna's class set is Dark Princess, Oni Savage, Fox Spirit,(I think) Lance Fighter and Priestess (High speed Fox Spirit) Shinonome's class set is Lance Fighter, Samurai, Wyvern Knight, Ninja, and maybe Oni Savage? Whatever I think he's Brady 2.0 in unscrewability Luna!Lutz/Setsuna!Midoriko (Lutz A+ Deere, Midoriko A+ Kinu) *Lutz inherits Swallow Strike from Luna and Luna from Arthur and this is confusing to read isn't it *Midoriko inherits Swallow Strike from Setsuna A+ Hinoka and maybe Swordfaire from Kaze's Samurai Lutz' class set is Wyvern, Fighter, Mercenary, Rod Knight and Herb Merchant (No Breaking Sky but Extravagance makes up for it a bit) Midoriko's class set is Herb Merchant, Ninja, Bowman, Wyvern and Spellcaster(I think) (Fast utility unit) Oboro!Eponine/Orochi!Gurei (Eponine A+ Velour, Gurei A+ Ignis) *Eponine inherits Swallow Strike from Zero A+ Tsubaki and Extravagance from Oboro's Herb Merchant *Gurei inherits Extravagance from Orochi's Herb Merchant Eponine's class set is Outlaw, Dark Mage, Lance Fighter, Fighter(I think) and Ninja (Fast utility unit with possible Berserker option) Gurei's class set is Ninja, Samurai, Spellcaster, Outlaw and Knight (Hits things hard once) Charlotte!Siegbert/Mozume!Matoi (Siegbert A+ Shinonome, Matoi A+ Eponine) *Siegbert inherits Copycat from Xander A+ Kaze and probably inherit an Oni Savage skill like Ogre Strike or Counter because I really want a high crit Charlotte *Matoi inherits Breaking Sky from Mozume A+ Oboro Siegbert's class set is Cavalier, Wyvern, Fighter, Pegasus Knight and Lance Fighter (General physical offense) Matoi's class set is Pegasus Knight, Samurai, Villager, Cavalier and Outlaw (General physical offense, slightly lesser than Siegbert but still holds up) Sakura!Foleo/Nyx!Shara (Foleo A+ Siegbert, Shara A+ Matoi) *Shara inherits Extravagance from Nyx A+ Mozume unless I give it to Velour Foleo's class set is Rod Knight, Dark Mage, Priest, Spellcaster and Cavalier (Magic dude) Shara's class set is Spellcaster, Oni Savage, Dark Mage, Rod Knight and Pegasus Knight (Magic lady) Rinkah!Hisame/Hinoka!Mitama (Hisame A+ Shigure, Mitama A+ Soleil) *Hisame inherits Breaking Sky from Rinkah A+ Orochi *Mitama inherits Breaking Sky from Hinoka and Axefaire from Asama A+ Arthur Hisame's class set is Samurai, Oni Savage, Ninja, Priest and Pegasus Knight (Physical/mixed offense) Mitama's class set is Priestess, Herb Merchant, Pegasus Knight, Samurai and Mercenary (High offensive abilities. Somewhat restricted by class compared to others but should be fine.) Belka!Ignis/Elise!Ophelia (Ignis A+ Foleo, Ophelia A+ Shara) *Ignis could inherit Breaking Sky from Benoit A+ Tsukuyomi. Undecided on this though. *Ophelia inherits Swallow Strike from Elise A+ Aqua(I think) Ignis' class set is Knight, Fighter, Wyvern, Dark Mage and Rod Knight (The least harmful use of Belka's -2 speed modifier) Ophelia's class set is Dark Mage, Samurai, Rod Knight, Knight and Spellcaster (Another magic lady who can work with lower speed) Felicia!Kisaragi/Kagerou!Sophie (can't think of any notable A+) *Sophie inherits Breaking Sky from Kagerou's Spellcaster Kisaragi's class set is Bowman, Lance Fighter, Rod Knight and Cavalier (It's a Kisaragi) Sophie's class set is Cavalier, Mercenary, Ninja and Bowman (It's a Sophie. I did these two second last so I literally just threw people together.) Hana!Deere/Pieri!Soleil (Deere A+ Lutz, Soleil A+ Ophelia) *Deere inherits Swallow Strike from Hana A+ Sakura(I think) *Soleil inherits Axefaire from Pieri A+ Charlottte Deere's class set is Rod Knight, Cavalier, Samurai, Mercenary and Wyvern (The dodgetank) Soleil's class set is Mercenary, Ninja, Cavalier, Rod Knight and Dark Mage (I did Soleil last so while not bad she is a little lacking compared to others)
  8. I think this a problem with literally half of the Hoshido parents. Saizou, Takumi and Hinata also have a -2 speed modifier, and the most that the mothers are really able to do is break even with speed or just get a small boost. And a good chunk of the mothers have low speed too. (Kagerou has -1, Orochi has -2) Hisame's personal skill makes up for it at least, and he can get Swallow Strike from an A+ with Shigure but the others are kind of stuck. I do think that Matoi is at least in a better situation than Gurei and Kisaragi though thanks to natural Pegasus. (Hoo boy Kisaragi's situation is completely unenviable in my eyes. Holy Bowman is his highest speed option and it's still low compared to Trueblade/Elite Ninja, he cannot get Defensive Formation without Avatar/Logbook and his Swallow Strike options are extremely limited since he's competing with loads of kids for those opportunities) Defensive Formation could help a bit to offset that issue. Defensive Formation I can see as being a really useful skill particularly for support units or lower speed units to avoid getting killed. The only downside is that Knight distribution is really poor and I think General is the only way to get that skill. (Benoit, Effie, Ignis, and anyone who A+ with them or marries them) I'm considering doing Orochi!Gurei with an A+ with Ignis - since his speed will be relatively low no matter what I do, it'd be better to have him as a unit who can hit hard once and not get doubled in return. --- Out of the two Matois you're suggesting, that's going to depend on who she will be marrying and who she will support with. Hinoka passes Lance Fighter for Breaking Sky but Matoi can actually get Breaking Sky by herself from an A+ with Shara(Spellcaster), so if you're going to do that there's no pressure to give Hinoka to her. Shara looks far and away to be her most useful A+. Kinu doesn't need it, Mitama can get Breaking Sky in lots of other ways so that only leaves Ophelia as relatively stiff competition for it. Marrying Shinonome will give the same effect. She can also marry Ignis to take fuller advantage of those defensive mods and to get Defensive Formation. You might be able to do something silly like this in third route: General Hinoka!Matoi (Marries Ignis, A+ Mitama) 0/0/2/0/0/3/2 (38/25/34/25/32/43/32) Defensive Formation/Breaking Sky/Lancefaire/Magic Counter/Luna or Confined Defense or Renewal or Speed Seal Out of the two I am leaning towards Hinoka in a vacuum, but Luna works too again depending on who she supports/marries as well as who else wants Hinoka.
  9. I think that Donnel!Inigo is arguably a little worse than Gregor!Inigo, at least when it comes to postgame and possibly for ingame too. Donnel!Severa isn't terrible but is the worst Severa possible. Frederick!Brady also comes to mind as another kid who isn't technically bad but is still the worst Brady possible. Actually, Donnel/Kellam/Fred are who I'd consider to be the three worst parents in the game. Those three should be integrated in your setup in some way.
  10. I'm doing a little bit of theorycrafting and screwing around with pairings in preparation for when this game comes out in NA. I'm trying to focus on getting a bunch of units with really high speed, mostly because speed has always been the god stat. I'm looking to optimize Breaking Sky, but also Swallow Strike - since it increases the doubling threshold by 5, it should functionally give the same speed increase on player phase. (unless I'm horribly wrong about this. I don't think the doubling threshold has changed from Awakening.) Extravagance is another skill that's on my radar - assuming the description is correct, you could do a ton of damage if you're willing to get enough gold coins to do so consistently. I did see a build earlier that hit 40 speed, but there should be a few that can hit higher, mostly because of other class options. (I'm not taking tonics/emblems into account yet) Fox Spirit also looks like a good class for speed. If Beaststone+ gives +6, then Setsuna/Azura!Kinu could hit 46 speed when transformed. My current theory build has +Spe/-Lck Avatar with Oni Savage disposition paired with Azura!Kinu, so if the calcs are right, here is what I have. Azura!Kinu: 2/1/-1/6/2/-4/3 (Married to Avatar, A+ Midoriko) Kinu!Kanna: 1/0/1/10/1/-4/3 (Married to Shinonome, A+ Mitama) Kanna hits 50 in this case as a Nine-Tailed Fox. (34 base + 10 mods + 6 Beaststone) I am also pretty sure that both Kinu and Kanna can get Swallow Strike, giving a functional 51 and 55 speed on player phase. 51 speed is just enough to double the fastest non Fox Spirit units. 11 speed Kanna as Elite Ninja/Trueblade gets to 46. Other options that I have so far for them are Counter/Magic Counter,(Avatar Marriage Seal and Azura/A+ Mitama) Breaking Sky,(from Nishiki or marrying Shinonome) and Extravagance.(A+ Midoriko, Kanna inherits) Midoriko is another unit I think has lots of potential. Just giving Setsuna to her you get this: Setsuna!Midoriko: -1/1/4/7/-2/-1/1 (Married to Lutz, A+ Kinu) As an Elite Ninja, she hits 42 speed iirc.(47 Swallow Strike) If Setsuna has an A+ with Hinoka. I think she might be able to get Breaking Sky via Kinu, assuming that Spellcaster is what she will get from using a Buddy Seal. 42 speed is also important since she just misses the cutoff for getting doubled by non Swallow Strike Azura/Setsuna!Kinu. I currently have Eponine being mothered by Oboro. I could have picked a few other moms but compared to the others Oboro just gives her so much. Lance Fighter/Spellcaster looks like it will be the new class to have, since it has Breaking Sky, a faire for both base class options and Basara has great caps. Oboro can also pass Extravagance from her Herb Merchant line, and she doesn't miss out on Swallow Strike since Zero can A+ Tsubaki or she can A+ Matoi herself. I gave Gurei to her so that she could have Ninja access, but she does look pretty competent otherwise. Oboro!Eponine: 0/0/1/5/0/2/1 (Married to Gurei, A+ Velour) (this is assuming Zero A+ Tsubaki and passes Swallow Strike) Mozume also looks very promising as a mom, unlike her Awakening counterpart. Her stats are great given how mods have changed in this game. Villager's promotion options are both pretty good - Weapons Master is a solid balanced class and Great Merchant has Extravagance. Currently I have her mothering Matoi, mostly because I'm not exactly sure where else to put her and Matoi does turn out pretty solid. (0/1/4/0/1/4/-2, if you're wondering)
  11. Hey Carmine. I remember you from the early 2013 Gamefaqs meta. Good to see you around again. The Kjelle wars were pretty nasty and a time I personally dislike, mostly because it turned lots of people away from an otherwise really good pairing. Vaike!Kjelle is making a small resurgence, albeit for much better reasons than Pavise/Aegis. I usually stick to Gamefaqs for convenience, but I do find myself recommending that a lot more than I used to. Oddly enough, even though it's probably the best use of Gaius now, Gaius!Kjelle wasn't particularly popular back then, if only because everyone wanted to pair him with Nowi. I guess for its time just months after release it sounded good. All in all it was a really embarrassing time I'd like to forget myself, too. Frederick!Gerome... *shudders* (To his small credit, Fred!Rome probably does PavGis better than Vaike!Kjelle, but unlike Vaike!Kjelle he's pretty terrible everywhere else. I used that pairing too and I regret it. Shoulda gave him Kellam. If I wanted to make Gerome crap, at least I should've done it with a support I liked) Endgame, to his credit, does extol the virtues of Virion!Severa quite a bit more than anyone else there, especially regarding her role as a Dark Flier. I remember some talk about her going on actually from back then. I just find it a little odd that he never opts to go through with it since she can do almost the same thing that his Lon'qu!Severa build can (Just replace Avoid +10 with Tantivy/Patience and you're good) and I'm inclined to think that Lonq'u!Laurent would be more or less a straight upgrade from Virion!Laurent. The only thing that I can think of for Virion would be for Dual Strike purposes, and I've never seen him talk about it much at all.
  12. OK. Looks like Anna should be fine then. To be honest, I'm much less worried about Anna and much more worried about the Sniper though. Running the calcs with their attack power, I get 4 + 26 + 26 = 56 per hit assuming Brave Bow. (I think that's what it is with forged max might Longbow too after Dragonskin/Pavise+) Brave Bow beats the Sniper, but not anything else. If that's the case, I might then still be able to get away with using Gregor!Laurent rather than Stahl!Laurent. I'd just have to run Skill+2 on Morgan instead and use Brave Bow on the Sniper when it comes, assuming I opt to combat him with Morgan + Laurent if it's convenient for them to do so. Alternatively, that could still give me room to have another skill fill in for Speed+2. (Maybe AT or Bowfaire or something) The main reason why 75 speed is important is to deal with Anna/Sniper at 3 range though, so I might still look into that.
  13. For the most part my team is set, but I'm just considering a few small tweaks and testing the viability of a few sets. For reference, here is what I had and decided on, as well as their current/possible setups. Sumia!Lucina + Libra!Owain (Sniper + Sage/Berserker) +Skl/-Def Avatar + Chrom!Cynthia (Falco + Sniper) Chrom!Cynthia!Morgan + Stahl!Laurent (Sniper + Sage, Wyvern + Berserker) Lon'qu!Severa + Virion!Yarne (Wyvern + Berserker, Hero + any pair up, considering Dark Flier + Sage) Gaius!Kjelle + Frederick!Inigo (Dual Assassin, Wyvern + Berserker/Hero and probably a few other things too) Henry!Brady + Vaike!Nah (Sage + Hero, Dual Sage or Sorc + Sage, considering Berserker + Wyvern Lord) Donnel!Noire + Gregor!Gerome (leftovers) (Bride + Berserker/Assassin) Chrom!Cynthia!Morgan (+Skl/-Def) x Stahl!Laurent -This was the 100% Dual Strike + 75 speed Sniper/Sage setup I had set out to kill things at 3-range. Morgan runs LB/GF/AS+2/Spe+2/Defender and Laurent runs LB/AS+2/Skl+2/Agg/TF. For the most part I'm finding myself very happy with this setup - This pair more than exceeded my expectations in terms of how well they compliment each other both physically and magically. However, I am considering moving Gregor over to Laurent, mostly because I'm running into a few deployment issues with kids. Donnel!Noire + Gregor!Gerome did end up getting benched most of the time, so I'm trying to see if there's a better place to put Gregor since I know he benefits a few kids. As you might guess, Laurent is a strong candidate to give him more mileage as a unit. The big downside of giving him to Laurent, however, is that I lose the setup that was its selling point to me. Stahl with Archer gives just enough skill to run the setup I want, and Gregor is 1 skill short due to lacking Archer, meaning either I don't get 100%/75 speed, or Morgan has to drop Galeforce to get it, which is a pretty big sacrifice. The only other options to maintain 100 DS/75 speed Sniper/Sage would be Virion, who doesn't give Vantage(not needed in a support, but it's nice to have) or Lon'qu who gives enough skill, but is very much liked by Severa. Lon'qu!Severa + Virion!Yarne If I'm making Severa strong physically, it's a little tempting to move Stahl over to Yarne if he has a chance of being free if only for the extra firepower. But again, this is largely dependent on whether or not it's worth moving Stahl off of Laurent with his and Morgan's setup. Losing Sage isn't a huge deal, but I could see it hurting Severa if she goes 75 speed Dark Flier. Dark Flier Severa might want a magic pairup due to lacking Tomefaire. Basically, it's trying to determine whether or not upgrading to Stahl for Yarne is worth losing the prior setup with Morgan and Laurent and weakening Severa's Dark Flier option. Henry!Brady + Vaike!Nah In the end I did stick with this setup. I did strongly consider Gregor!Brady + Henry!Nah like was suggested earlier, but decided to forge ahead with this, mostly because they're still quite strong hitting both physical and magical sides of the spectrum, but also because since 69 speed was the main benchmark after 75, I figured that if I couldn't hit 75 with Henry!Nah/Gregor!Brady, it'd just be better for Nah to go Sage instead for the power/hit difference meaning that I wouldn't need Valkyrie. (Vaike!Nah seems to be OK with 0 mag since she can run Tomefaire) However, given the potential father shuffles outlined earlier, there may be a chance to improve this setup a bit. The only issue is that if I want to justify using Nah as a Valkyrie, Brady would need a faster father to take maximum advantage of her speed boost. I'm also considering possibilities for a physical set to play around with, since Henry passes a few classes and good enough physical mods. I run Berserker + Wyvern Lord with them, although I'm worried that Brady as a Berserker Galeforce lead is problematic, especially since both partners use axes. Given their speed stats, Brady can afford to run Hex or Anathema over All Stats+2, which mitigates this a bit, although it might still be a little concerning.
  14. oh hey I was just on gamefaqs earlier today I'm actually running Donnel!Noire in a file right now, with a similar situation to yours, so I might comment a bit on this. (Decided to do Gaius!Kjelle, didn't have the heart to just bench her) She can put in a bit of work but is pretty easily the weakest member of my team. Historically, it's a pairing I don't really like storywise, but it has some uses. She makes a pretty good Bride, works well as a Sniper and is OKish as a Sorcerer. I might be spoiled, but no Vantage and no Tomefaire hurts a lot compared to what I'm used to. The main problem that I've faced using Donnel!Noire, especially compared to Donnel!Kjelle is that she doesn't really have any 'fast' class barring Falcoknight to make up for her low modifiers. Donnel!Kjelle at least gets Assassin right off the bat to make her viable for the harder stuff. For Noire I had to marry her to Berserker/Hero Gerome just so that she could keep up with everyone else in harder maps, which creates a bit of a domino effect of lower hit rates and lower reliability compared to my other pairs. I have better Snipers on the team anyway,(Lucina, Morgan) so with Donnel there's really not that much left for her to do. Like she's not awful. Just really, really underwhelming and restrictive in terms of who she can pair up with. As for alternatives, I quite like Gregor!Noire. (And it was what I was planning to do before I decided to shuffle my child pairs) Modifiers are good on both sides of the spectrum, she gets enough to really abuse Sorcerer with (Vantage + AT) and a couple of good classes and skills to function as a female supporter for a Galeforce male. She can run Hero, Assassin, Bow Knight, Sniper and Bride with impunity when it comes to that role.
  15. Speaking as someone who did Fred!Rome a while ago and still has a file with him... he just really, really sucks gameplay-wise. Don't do it. His main draw back then was PavGis + Sol as a General at a time where PavGis tanking was still in vogue. Make him try to do anything else, though, you'll always find yourself wanting because he has no faires and his support class selection is fairly poor. (that and PavGis + Sol wasn't nearly as good as people said it was or that I thought - I want my time back) Incidentally, I remember that Frederick was considered one of the best fathers at that time too, almost entirely because of PavGis, similar to Donnel because of AT, or Vaike because of AT for daughters. People were running Fred!Severa or Fred!Cynthia like it was no big deal. Nowadays I think Kellam may actually be a better dad than Fred, even if they are both kinda bad. At least Kellam doesn't hurt magic and offers Sage for some people.
  16. I'm pretty sure that procstacking involves if you running multiple procs, you have a chance to activate other ones based on their priority. The order according to Serenes is Lethality > Aether > Astra > Sol > Luna > Ignis > Vengeance. Basically, what occurs is if one proc doesn't activate, there is a chance that the other one will. Say you're running a capped Sniper Sumia!Lucina with Aether/Luna and no extra skills or pairup, just as an example. Sumia!Lucina Sniper: 52 Skill Aether = Skill/2 = 52/2 = 26% Luna = Skill = 52% Since Aether has higher priority, the calculation for it to activate will be done first, which is 26%. However, if it fails to activate, iirc what happens is that the game also sees if there is a chance to activate Luna based on Aether failing, since Luna is lower than Aether on the priority list. The chance for Luna to activate is based on what is left after Aether fails to activate. It's a little complicated to explain, but I think it goes like this: Aether: 26% Luna: (100-26) x .52 = 74(.52) = 38% Nothing: (100-26-38) = 36% 64% chance to activate something, anything Procstacking makes for a viable strategy because you don't have to rely on a single activation amount for a single proc, and the activation for multiples can often surpass a single proc unless that proc's name is Vengeance.
  17. I've done that a few times before. Usually as a War Monk for Armsthrift Axefaire Bolt/Brave Axe shenanigans. Not gonna be his main niche if I do it but it's something nice to goof off with on some maps.
  18. Thanks you two. I knew about TF Valkyrie support but got kind of stuck otherwise. The crit build actually looks pretty interesting - definitely a nice change of pace from using Braves. It'd be good for Brady assuming he goes Sage, and with Gregor's mods Brady could actually kind of pull a physical set as a Hero or Assassin from time to time with Wyvern support, which is also better than I remembered. Axefaire Hero is still really tempting because it offers both a little more speed and skill for Dual Strike purposes, (and Henry!Nah means no Tomefaire Mire for Brady for some maps) but the DS rate might not be super significant in the long run, Brady already has Luna to work with so can afford to lose Vengeance and while Brady just misses 75 speed iirc with Valk instead of Hero, I have a bunch of units who can do it in other good classes. If Brady can't hit it, it's probably not a big deal. (And he can do it anyway if he runs Defender, but that might just be too much effort) I'll still have to think about it but now that I know more about what Nah can do, it's definitely considerable. Also one last question - who to best use the Boots on? Lucina will probably get one since she'll be in classes with 6 move, (Sage, sometimes Sniper) lacks Deliverer and paired with Owain will likely be my main mixed/magic attacker. Lucina could go Dark Flier too, but that's not going to be her main class and as part of a magical double GF pair she'd benefit the most. Second one I'm thinking of is either Morgan or Kjelle, as Sniper or Assassin/Wyvern respectively. If Kjelle specializes in Wyvern with only sometimes Assassin then Morgan could get the Boots, but if Kjelle benefits a lot more from them she might be a contender.
  19. Not sure if this got lost in the shuffle from a few pages back. What I have now is Henry!Brady, Vaike!Nah and Gregor!Gerome. Brady and Nah are marrying as a Sage/Hero combo, and Gerome is going to Noire. I'm considering swapping the fathers around for Gregor!Brady, Henry!Nah and Vaike!Gerome, and am a little curious as to what I would end up doing. If I decide to use Henry!Nah over Vaike!Nah as a partner for Gregor!Brady, what are her main roles and what skill should be passed down? I know that Henry!Nah makes a really good Valkyrie - what I'm interested in seeing if there are other things that I could do with her on occasion.
  20. That's what I thought. Noire with Galeforce paired with Gerome probably won't get 100 Dual Strike no matter who her dad is, and moving Gaius over to her robs Kjelle of that setup and other options too for a relatively marginal benefit. They're not necessarily the stars of the show though - Lucina and/or Morgan cover the Sniper part and Cynthia/Severa/Kjelle cover the physical attacking portion. Could make her a Bride with physical support from Gerome - the higher speed gives her a few more options for pairups, and actually opens up more possibilities to reach 75. Not that she needs to, but she can do it more conveniently than going Sniper. I really wish she got another good class like Sage or Assassin or something from her normal skillset so that Donnel doesn't cripple her relative to the other kids - the other reason why I'm not big on Donnel!Noire. You can press start to skip the supports, you can pretend that, rather than another option, that Noire came about by cursing a piece of Donnel's hair but you're stuck with Noire herself being a cut below everyone else. Sniper Donnel!Noire might still be OK in Apo paired with Berserker or Hero Gerome then, maybe with the physical Sniper niche I mentioned. I've accepted that the instant I put Gaius on Kjelle, Noire would always end up being a second-tier kid. It's one of the things that I kind of hate about Noire - she needs Avatar or Gaius to be good, and either option ends up hurting the whole team. (I do have Avatar!Noire in another file and she's frankly awesome, and do plan to do Gaius!Noire in another game but those are other files and not this one.) Gregor!Brady is a possibility, and another one of my guilty pleasure pairings. (Mods clash but great skill selection - maybe not full power in Apo, but absolutely crazy everywhere else) Losing the option for a Tomefaire Mire + GF sniping and GF + Vengeance sucks but what can you do. Paired with Henry!Nah she more than makes up for the 2 magic deficit Brady gets assuming she goes Valk, and they end up hitting harder magically too, albeit I'm not sure if they can hit mixed as well as Henry!Brady + Vaike!Nah can. DS rate also goes down a bit but again they're not hitting 100 either way. Henry!Nah doesn't need Axefaire (I think) so what should he pass down in its stead? To be honest, I've tinkered a bit with Henry!Nah, but never used her in any great amount in practice - I know that Valkyrie support is her main niche, but are there other things she's capable of doing? I might restart for all of that - it's just that for these type of superkid files I like to play on Lunatic to make postgame more interesting, and the earlygame is always a massive pain. I got super lucky with Second Seals before Chapter 13 too.
  21. Even though I had my pairings set a few pages back, I considered the possibility of taking fuller advantage of Lucina's Dual Strike+ by pairing her with Owain instead of Gerome or Laurent. Functionally it'll be similar to the Lucina/Laurent pair where DS+ let Laurent run V/V reliably or having Laurent be a Sage partner for a Sniper/Sage pairup, but Owain lets me get that same outcome, only in a double Galeforce pair. It's tempting to try to take these possibilities to the limit, so I've rejigged my pairings a little bit. Sumia!Lucina x Libra!Owain -The main change. This was mostly inspired by going through my run and seeing how easy it could actually be to get Owain all set compared to Laurent. He starts with Vantage, Libra passes Vengeance and Lissa passes Galeforce, so he could just Second Seal to Priest, Rescue spam, promote to Sage and he's good to go. His lower skill also makes him a good choice for Lucina to use her Dual Strike+ with, and he still has stuff to help his hit like Anathema if it comes down to it. Chrom!Cynthia x +Skl/-Def Avatar -Same as previous. Mostly physical stuff to reach high Dual Strike rates but lots of things are viable here. Chrom!Cynthia!Morgan x Stahl!Laurent -One of my main mixed offense pairs. Morgan will usually go Sniper while Laurent will usually go Sage. I also did some more tinkering and found a setup that lets me have a Sniper/Sage pair with both 100% Dual Strike and 75 speed, giving me a reliable Anna/Sniper killer who can do it even at 3-range if I want them to. Morgan runs LB/GF/AS+2/Defender/Spe+2, Laurent runs LB/Agg/AS+2/Skl+2/TF. The skill difference otherwise (87+72) is made up by Defender, and the speed difference (Morgan would end at 72) is made up by Defender + Spe+2. Sniper/Sage is their main calling card, but they can run a few other things too. (75 speed Wyvern with Berserker/Assassin pair, double Sage, etc.) Lon'qu!Severa x Virion!Yarne -Same as previous. Can go 75 speed Wyvern or 100% DS in a variety of setups. Gaius!Kjelle x Frederick!Inigo -Also the same as previous. Still does the same things it did earlier - 100% DS pair regardless of who's in front or back and Inigo can be a dodgetank. They can be dual Assassins for dodging and Dual Strike or a second-string Wyvern/Hero or Zerker pair for a high mobility unit with good attack power. Vaike!Nah x Henry!Brady -With Owain going to Lucina, Brady takes his place and gives slightly higher Dual Strike rate with his 4 skill. Otherwise it's still the same 75 speed Sage with Hero support. Kind of boring but it gets the job done. Donnel!Noire x Gregor!Gerome -This is the major result of the pairing conundrum I ran into, since Owain going onto Lucina means that Noire has to run Galeforce to still retain the maximum number of pairs. It's not quite ideal, but it's workable. (Gregor/Cherche support makes up for Donnel/Tharja support in my book) I initially had Stahl!Gerome here, but his best support otherwise for Noire would be Hero, since Bowfaire Warrior brings her speed way too low. However, his offensive potential suffers a little bit as a result. Gregor is my alternative - Stahl going to Laurent frees him up for Gerome to run Berserker/Axefaire Hero for good strength and a speed boost to give Noire a niche as a physical ranged unit compared to Lucina/Morgan having magical partners. Sniper Noire is never going to hit 75 speed without a barracks boost (to be fair Sniper Lucina doesn't either, paired up with Sage Owain if she wants to keep her procs) but she does get enough speed to work with - she could even drop All Stats+2 for Anathema to make up for Gerome lacking a +hit skill and still be above 69. Theoretically, I could also swap Gregor and Vaike around for Gregor!Nah and Vaike!Gerome, meaning Nah could get Valkyrie for magic support for Brady too, which might be a good idea if Gregor!Nah and Vaike!Gerome is a better overall outcome than what I have now. It's not too late to change pairings, but I already have a few marriages set (Sully/Gaius, Panne/Virion, Lissa/Libra, Nowi/Vaike, Chrom/Sumia) so changing some would mean restarting, which I'm open to doing but it's a little annoying. I can probably get away with Donnel!Noire in Apo as long as Gerome is always either a Hero or Berserker. There's a few questions that are going to affect it, though. Is the extra speed Gaius gives to Noire worth losing out on utility on Kjelle? Going Gaius!Noire lets her still reach >69 speed as a Sniper with a 0 speed pair up, so Gerome could also go Warrior if he needs to for higher accuracy and comparable power as Berserker - I could run a high accuracy Gerome without having Noire run Anathema in lieu of another skill. However, this means doing Donnel!Kjelle, which isn't bad but she loses out on the Wyvern option with Hero/Berserker Inigo, 100% Dual Strike as dual Assassins, and pretty much is all Assassin all the time, especially as Inigo's dodge tank partner. If Inigo is strictly leading, it might be OK, but I still feel it would be a waste of Kjelle's potential - if she's getting Galeforce, she'd better use it. This could also complicate Morgan a little bit if I decide to put Stahl back on Gerome. My gut feelings says that Noire will likely be OK even with Gaius!Kjelle - even in a slower class like Sniper she can still get enough speed to work with. Is Gregor!Nah and Vaike!Gerome significantly different from Vaike!Nah and Gregor!Gerome that it would be worth switching them around? Both Nahs can run Axefaire Heroes, but the fact that Gregor!Nah could also go Tomefaire Valkyrie as an alternative sounds mighty tasty too, and paired with Brady he'd have higher magic and still reach 75 speed iirc. That Gregor/Cherche support is so good though, and I don't know if there's any major differences to really justify the switch. Gregor!Gerome also has a bit more stuff he can play with in postgame maps compared to Vaike!Gerome with Vantage and Astra, and I kind of like the variety I get with him compared with Vaike. This is also one of the marriages that is set, so restarting just for that might be a little pedantic. I'll still do it though, if the difference is significant.
  22. I can do one better - I've had max Renown for a while, so giving Morgan a pair of boots if she goes Sniper is a possibility with one other pair left for Olivia/Severa/Avatar/etc. The more I look at this pairing, the more completely monstrous it feels, I love it. 100% DS with room for Galeforce and 1-2 procs? (or other stuff like faire/movement skills) May not activate all the time, but if I go Falco, 85% Luna/Ignis, 42% Aether or room for guaranteed Vengeance is certainly not a bad thing. In Sniper it shoots up to 88/44/100, which is good too. If that's the case, I'll probably go ahead with Lucina/Gerome, Cynthia/Avatar, and Morgan/Laurent. Thank you very much.
  23. Sorry about my bad math. I had a long day and I must've thought I was talking about the Sniper/Sage pair I mentioned later in the post. Double checking the math it's only a 98% DS rate with double Sage Morgan and Laurent. It's pretty much those last three that I'm working at now before I get started on preparing it. At the moment I'm considering Lucina/Gerome, Avatar/Cynthia, and Morgan/Laurent. Could still swap Gerome and Laurent around, but Lucina's DS+ helps out Gerome's lower skill to bring the rate to 100 anyway. Just experimenting a bit, there also seems to be quite a few combos where Morgan and Laurent could get 100% DS rather than just Falco+Sniper. Hopefully my math is a bit better this time around. Sniper Morgan: 48 + 8(mods) + 10(LB) + 10(rallies) +2(tonic) + 2(all+2) + 7(pairup) = 87 (Needs Defender so 2 free slots, likely GF + Faire/Vengeance) Sage Laurent: 43 + 3 + 10 + 10 + 2 + 2 + 2(skl+2) = 72 (2 free slots) Total: 159 -> 160 Falco Morgan: 45 + 8 + 10 + 10 + 2 + 2 + 7 or 8(pairup) = 84 with Assassin, 85 with Sniper (3 free slots, no Defender needed) Sniper/Assassin Laurent: 48 + 3 + 10 + 10 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 77 (2 free slots) Total: 161/162 Sage Morgan: 43 + 8 + 10 + 10 + 2 + 2 + 7 or 8(pairup) = 82 with Assassin, 83 with Sniper (Needs Defender if paired with Assassin so 2 free slots in that case and 3 for Sniper) Sniper/Assassin Laurent: 77 Total: 159->160/160 Falco Morgan + Sniper/Assassin Laurent actually looks pretty swanky, even if it is complete and utter overkill. If the calcs are right, she can run 3 other skills aside from LB and AS+2 which she needs, so she has room for other cool stuff to use, and can get full DS in a variety of classes. Cynthia/Avatar is a bit more restrictive but it's acceptable to me, and Lucina has DS+ to compensate for her partner.
  24. Thanks for the advice. +Skl Avatar is probably better for those kinds of setups, and +2 strength for Morgan is still kind of good I suppose. To be honest I actually forgot Defender didn't work from the back, so that won't work. Still considering S!L!Morgan/Stahl!Laurent since Laurent's skill boost over Ricken!Gerome is a bit more flexible for 100% DS. Double Sage can reach it if Morgan runs LB/AS+2 and Laurent runs LB/AS+2/Skl+2. If I really wanted the Strength asset I could make Morgan also run Skl+2 to make up for the Skl deficit, but I'm not sure how worthwhile that option would be there, since it takes the spot of a potentially valuable skill like Aether. I'm inclined to think that magic might be a bit more useful for 100% DS options, just because of the utility and range of tomes compared to other weapons. Sniper x Sage for Longbow + magic DS sounds really intriguing. I did some calcs and came up a bit short of 100% in that setup with Morgan x Ricken!Gerome, but Stahl!Laurent still makes up the gap that I had. Sniper Morgan with LB/AS+2/Defender + ralles(10) reached 88 and Sage Rome with LB/AS+2/Skl+2 and rallies reached 69. Laurent's 3 extra skill reaches 72, which is juuust enough to get 100%. Dunno if it's important to get 100% with that setup, but it's something I could do there. Can't do this with +Str/Spe asset, so I guess Skill will be what I'll have to do. (I guess I could technically reach it if I have Morgan run Skl+2, but again I don't think it's really worth it.) As for marrying Cynthia vs. Lucina, how many skill slots would I have to set for Avatar to get 100% with Cynthia assuming a high skill class like Hero/Sniper/Sage? (Like LB/AS+2/Skl+2/etc.) I'm still leaning a bit towards Lucina since she gives me more leeway in terms of what skills/classes I can run for that setup, though I understand that it's a bit of a waste to use a high skill Avatar on Lucina considering her DS+. It'd be nice for all the Aether girls to get the option for that setup, but not strictly necessary. Axefaire Hero Nah is actually pretty viable as a magic pair up, checking it over. If for whatever reason I want a physical pair, I guess I could kinda maybe not really make Owain go Berserker or Assassin with her. This is actually good though, since I wanted to try Vaike!Nah from the start and Donnel!Nah was a bit more of a compromise that came from putting Henry elsewhere. If Vaike is still fine, I'll do it. (And I'll just save Donnel!Nah for a more fun pairing file so I still abuse Aptitude Manakete in some way even if it's not here. I know it's not good for postgame but it's a guilty pleasure of mine.)
  25. I used to do pairing stuff like a year or so ago, but I put down the game for a while and focused on other things. I've taken a look at the past pages and I'm actually pretty interested at how things changed over time. (I think I stopped playing around the GF+Luna phase) I kind of want a bit of advice for a a run I'm planning on to see if these pairings work OK. For the most part, what I'm looking for are to have units with strong niches, but also have fairly flexible skillsets. I like children who if I get bored of one setup, I can somewhat freely change what they're doing to mix things up a bit, like going physical or magical, or making good leads or supports. I'll put down the pairings I have so far and my justification for them to see if what I'm planning is going to work. Parents Chrom/Sumia Lissa/Libra Sully/Gaius Miriel/Stahl Maribelle/Henry Panne/Virion Cordelia/Lon'qu Nowi/Donnel Tharja/Gregor Olivia/Frederick Cherche/Ricken Kids Sumia!Lucina/Avatar (+Str/-Def) Chrom!Cynthia/Ricken!Gerome Sumia!Lucina!Morgan/Stahl!Laurent Lon'qu!Severa/Virion!Yarne Gaius!Kjelle/Frederick!Inigo Donnel!Nah/Libra!Owain Gregor!Noire/Henry!Brady Lucina/Avatar and Morgan/Laurent can both run 100% DS setups, with Lucina just needing Dual Strike+ and Morgan/Laurent needing sorta complicated setups instead assuming Morgan goes Sage but it still hits the mark. (Sage/Sniper combo, Morgan runs LB/AS+2/Skl+2/V/V and Laurent runs LB/AS+2/Skl+2/Defender/Bowfaire) I think Severa/Yarne and maybe Kjelle/Inigo either hit it too or come close, but I can't be arsed to figure out setups at the moment. Initially, I had Lucina paired with Laurent, Cynthia with Avatar and Morgan with Gerome, but decided to switch it around because Lucina's Dual Strike+ means Avatar can run a more flexible skillset to reach 100% DS+ than others, which is good since he knows every male skill in the game. He also runs +Strength to be not totally outclassed power-wise by Gerome/Yarne for when she goes Sniper or another physical class, and to give Morgan just enough skill to 100% DS with Laurent. Initially I also had Gregor as Laurent's dad partly because I thought I could run AT on the set because of laziness, but even with 1 more skill, the loss of Skl+2 and Defender means I can't 100% DS with him and Morgan unless I take a Skill asset and I want Avatar and Morgan to hit things really hard. Also, it screws over Noire in this setup, because Gregor!Laurent and Stahl!Noire is probably worse than what I have now. Ricken!Gerome is kind of the leftover of the Avatar/Laurent/Gerome trio for the Aether girls. He benefits Cynthia very well as a support for both physical and magic stuff. (though no Berserker is the main reason why he's paired with her instead since Lucina/Morgan are better Aether girls overall) Even if it's not as high as it could be, 3 Strength/Magic is still very solid and Cynthia's speed mod is already really high(5) so slower pair ups probably won't kill her. I love the support too, so that's gravy. Severa gets Lon'qu to Skl/Spe stack to run things like 76 speed Wyvern Lord. V/V is an option for her, and she nabs a bunch of breakers to run evasion sets too. I still like Stahl!Severa but he's going to Miriel this time, I already have this pairing on another file and like doing things different, and Lon'qu!Severa is still awesome. She gets paired up with hard support Virion!Yarne, who gets Sniper for Hit+20 and Bowfaire, full access to the Wyvern tree, and Sage access if I really want to. I don't usually like making Yarne hard support, but considering he's good at it and the only dads who let him out of that are high demand, he'll have to accept his fate. Kjelle and Inigo are the final physical pair. Gaius!Kjelle for high skill/speed and good offensive potential and because since he's free today he might as well go to her. Frederick!Inigo is kind of a leftover, but Frederick gives him Luna and 3 strength/4 Skill to work with, which is good considering this team. Donnel!Nah is the really questionable pairing that I'm going to have to justify as to why she gets GF but Noire does not. First reason, I'm not a big fan of Donnel!Noire. (Tried it once, never again. I hated the support and the speed/class combo was really underwhelming compared to all the other kids. If I hear a compelling argument I'll consider it but no promises.) Second reason, for the most part it's convenient for what I want to do - Galeforce is really just a bonus for her. I was actually considering Vaike for her, but most of the good physical husbands are already taken up by the Aether trio and Severa, so I had to look for a husband who gives Nah a good magic support class to use Tomefaire with to pair up with Owain/Brady. Brady wants Henry because Vaike, Kellam and Donnel all screw him over kinda badly stat-wise if Nah gets Henry instead. Donnel still gives Nah access to Dark Flier and Valkyrie for +Mag/Spe pair up and all the relevant faires needed to be useful. In non-Apo maps she can still hit OK with Tomefaire so she can still sorta double GF with her husband. Plus for ingame I can run something like Aptitude Manakete which is all kinds of hilarious. Gregor!Noire is probably my favourite non-GF Noire. She gets V/V with AT and Sorcerer for ingame and also has pretty good physical stats too. Pass down Axefaire and make her an axe murderer. Valkyrie access lets her run magic support too, though she's not that great at it compared to others. Brady was already covered - Henry was the best out of the leftover options, lets Brady do a bunch of cool stuff (Axefaire War Monk/Berserker and other cool things like Thief tree) and Donnel is probably an OK replacement for Nah. Owain can run Anathema in that pair if it really comes down to it. That should be everything, so if there's something that should be changed, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Thanks!
