  1. In the past 2 years, the new unit type was showed as Tempest Trials bosses before being officially announced. We got Ascended Fjorm in Ice & Flame 4 TT, and then Rearmed Líf in Life & Death 3 TT. Maybe the datamine of the update could give us some hint.
  2. Honestly... Not even Claude saves this banner to me. This looks pretty boring. The easiest skip I had this year. Honestly, they should have saved this banner for January of next year, because the Wind Tribe works better as a desert theme banner.
  3. Can IS give Alear a break already? First the Guinivere's Legendary Banner, then Male Alear got released as a freebie and appeared in Freyr's Mythic Banner, then the Hero Fest, then the Legendary Banner, and now the BHB banner. The Divine Dragon will need another 1,000 year slumber after this. Anyway... not a bad map. @GuiltyLove Nice clears! The Palla team was fun to watch. I didn't expect that for this map, so it was a nice surprise. Where is Arcane Dagger for poor Spring Palla, IS?! The dragons did great as well
  4. I am only interested on Mirabilis, Hel and Marth for this month's batch. However I have enough divine dews for more refinements if they interest me.
  5. The ability of Hel to become a WoM becon in the middle of the enemy team can be a strat to be considered. She would also be a great user of skills like Flow Desperation or Gambit. I hope that in her refinement, they change her "target foe's Res" to "target lower of foe's Def or Res". I still don't know if she will get En Guard, or if the Push damage from Distant Pressure is intentional to allow her to enter WoM range more easily. Mirabilis's ability to grant Dull for foes is quite nice, especially in her season where a good amount of her mythic opponents rely on buffing foes (Elimine, Heidr, Naga, Plumeria, Ashera). She can also be a good Heidr counter... well, not herself, but granting Dull to allies allow them to deal with Treachery foes, nullifying all that extra damage granted by buffs.
  6. I am very glad that Alear didn't have Null Follow-Up sacred seal. @XenomataThat was a very easy map for you. Julia was pretty much made for this map, and Nina did a great job in the right side. Wow! I didn't know, or at least didn't remember, you having a +10 Spring Marisa, and such well invested too! @GuiltyLoveWell done with your Madecon team! Maria and Catria had some close calls, but nothing to worry about.
  7. Here's a video that has all the special finishing animations from Legendaries, Mythics and some OCs (excluding Ascended and Rearmed) heroes, up to Gotoh & Fomortiis banner.
  8. I agree. At least for Ascended and Rearmed heroes they did the opposite, and put the unique animations in their specials.
  9. Yeah... I have the same feeling about Legendary Roy, where his finishing animation has that flame effect... but it doesn't trigger if the killing blow is the special attack.
  10. I wished the special finishing animations that Legendary Heroes get was used for when they trigger the special. For Alear's finishing animation, she uses the kamehameha Dragon Blast. That would be great for her special triggering.
  11. She looks to be a great unit. I have some complains about her art/design though... Engage Spoilers: I confess that the weapon is kinda lazy. They picked her Sword, changed it to a breath and added Brave effect. Thats it. With that said, I liked the support ability on the Special. Granting Null DR to support partner is great. Having that effect in specials like Ruptured Sky or Flare without the need to run Special Spiral 4 will be very welcomed in Arena.
  12. I have everyone from the right side, while I only have Tiki from the left side. From these picks, I would go Tiki or Corrin.
  13. ✨ A new Voting Gauntlet event is coming! ✨ Which army will you support? Predictors by @DarkAlf: PREDICTOR A PREDICTOR B
  14. Not excited for Rhajat, but at least I will be removing the Spd bane on my copy.
  15. One thing I liked on the main page is that they would always post the FEH calendar as a list, which to me is easier to follow and know what is coming next. It's been months since they did that (maybe last time was last year, not sure), so I decided to make my own list now and have been doing that for the past months. Also... funny enough, they updated the main page with a post about the Engage manga today.
  16. I can see Hel getting Distant Dart, since she is quite speedy. Or Distant Stance, to give her more Res to tank mages, since her Miracle doesn't work against them. This one would be funny since her share to that banner should be Ganglot, who also have Distant Stance. I don't think we are getting Guard Bearing 4 on her, even though that would be great. I don't think they would only give her, or any Legendary/Mythic, just the remix to the Prf skill. A new skill is coming alongside it. Even Marth, who didnt get a new inheritable skill but got access to Shining Emblem for his special as new skill. I honestly don't think they will give her Distant A/S Solo, but the options I mentioned above are a possibility. Any DC variation that doesn't deal damage on herself, like the Storm or Pressure variations.
  17. One unit I have been using as Soren's Assign Decoy is Hel. She is quite speedy, target foe's Res which normally is her foe's lowest stats (sometimes she get unlucky with some fliers though), and she also has Miracle so her chances of surviving the combat are very high. She would do great if she had Guard Bearing 4 (mine doesn't) or even Gambit 4. That makes me very curious about her remix and refinement next month. I hope her weapon gets update from "calculates damage using foe's Res" to "calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res".
  18. Another batch of limited battles. Here's my clears for the Abyssal ones: Jugdral limitation is not the worst, but it's one of my least favorites. Honestly, both Leifs save it everytime. Now we have a Heroes limitation... which means Mythic Heroes everywhere! @GuiltyLoveNice clears! Your Awakening team did great against Cornelia. I didn't record my clear for it, but I just put Nowi with Null-C on their range, and watched all of them kill themselves on her. Lyn did great on tanking Colm's special, so Nino could finish him no problems. Nerþuz is a great units, so very nice that you were able to get her. And Fjorm did well tanking Shez's strong attacks. Yeah... I played Veronica & Embla maps without being a one-turn, and it was quite annoying. But you did great with your units, and that Dancer Reinhardt came at the right time to you. I recorded my attempt, in case I found a way to do it but then forget when I decide to record the clear, as you can see below. I didn't record a clear after this because I found a way to one-turn it.
  19. I wonder why IS skipped The Sacred Stones from the Limited Battles rotation... The Sacred Stones always came after Shadow Dragon/(New) Mystery of the Emblem, so it should be Cordelia's GHB limitation. But it got skipped and we got Awakening instead, which should be Colm & Neimi's limitation instead. And then the rotation followed normally.
  20. I wonder if they will change the Dragon Vein (Flame) description. Because "Cannot be slowed by terrain" effects do not apply sounds like that skills with the Traverse Terrain effect don't work against the Flame Terrain, but in reality it does. Refined Fujin Yumi and the Traverse Terrain Status effect granted by Khadein weapons can ignore the movement restriction inflicted by the Dragon Vein (Flame). Ranged Fliers without those effects are still penalized. They don't ignore the penalty, like how they do with Forest tiles.
  21. Soren's fodder is great for Infantry Mages, since if you can get all Flare, Mag NFU and Time's Pulse 4 at the same time. His entire kit is infantry exclusive, so if you have an infantry tome unit that can use that, Soren is the guy (You can even give him to Rearmed Ophelia, to be able to pass all those 3 skills plus Arcane Eclipse). But he is also good for infantry dragons since they can use the B and C slots well. Robin's foder is Gambit and Finish. While Finish is infantry exclusive, Gambit is for Sword, Lance and Axe units of all movement types. And yes, Gambit 1 to 3 is just Dodge: Gambit 1 is unit's max Special cooldown count value × 4 (max 20%); Gambit 2 is unit's max Special cooldown count value × 7 (max 35%); Gambit 3 is unit's max Special cooldown count value × 10 (max 50%). His fodder is very good for infantry unit. You can take Gambit 3 and Finish 4 at the same time, if you have the prior fodder. You will be missing the Spd/Def-4 and extra true damage Gambit 4 provides though. Corrin's fodder is Counter Roar, A/S Far Save and Armored Floe. Counter Road is dragon adn beast exclusive. The tiers 1 to 3 only have the damage reduction and counterattack damage, while Tier 4 also has the Atk/Spd-4 on foe and healinf after combat. In the end, Corrin's fodder is niche, because it's only for non human foes or for armors. You can get Far Save and Armored Foe at the same time, at least, if you have a good speedy armor that also have nice Res (Winter Ignatz, Winter Sothis and Rearmed Grima are some of the untis that come to mind... especially Grima, if you use her in Arena). Gullveig's fodder is Flared Sparrow and A/S Oath 4. Very easy to get both skills at the same time, however only fliers can inherit both, since Flared Sparrow is for mounted classes only (fliers and cavalry), and Oath is for infantry and Fliers only (so only fliers can inherit both). Even though Flared Sparrow is a speedy skill, the 7 damage it grants and the Flame Vein after combat makes this skill a good pick even for slow units. Warping is used aby anyone, but that Oath is better on speedy units. I think it depends on the type of units you use to be able to consider who is the best fodder here. In my opinion, Soren and Gullvein are the best ones because you has an easier time getting all the fodder at the same time, even though their fodder is more niche for certain classes. Robin's Gambit is very good if you use high cooldown specials, but it also competes with others B skills like the new Desperation 4 and Flow Desperation 4, or even Dodge 4 skills for units that have Slaying effect or prefer to run low cooldown specials. Corrin's fodder is for non humans or/and armors. If you don't care for them, her fodder is not fro you.
  22. I didn't have a hard time in the Chain Challenges, because Legendary Hinoka can easily deal with all 4 CYL units. But I can agree in the difficulty.
  23. So looks like Corrin takes priority in ending her action in AR-D because of her Dragon Veins, so she can be used as a Dancer Trap. So because of the 7th slot unit, you can have 2 dancer traps.
