  1. Or to summarize it all into a single, handy little gif... There's really not a whole lot else I think I can offer to the discussion that isn't just parroting the same talking points with my own spin on them. I studied to be a journalist for two years, and it's honestly astonishing how many people are content to just "one and done" their information, as far as sources go. And even then, it's extremely common for people to read the title, maybe the first couple sentences of an article and then be done with it. That's one of the reasons why "clickbait" titles are so common in this day and age, in an era where a majority of people are just going to take their information straight from the headlines, you need to do something -anything, in some cases - to make sure at least some of those people look beyond that. It's totally unrelated that I wound up dropping out of the program due to depression.
  2. Lyon is absolutely one of my favourite video game antagonists due to the tragedy and complexity of his character. Heroes did a lot to remind me of why I liked him, and his dialogue definitely endeared him to me a lot more. Gangrel is another antagonist I'm quite fond of, he's an interesting twist on the "starter villain bad king guy" archetype, and I found his downward spiral after his defeat to be fascinating. The few conversations he gets as a party member are really interesting and I wish there could've been more of them. It just felt like lost potential.
  3. I have only read about Geneology, but what I have read deeply interests me, and these quality of life tweaks make it sound like a game I'd absolutely love to play. I'd honestly like to see quality of life improvements and remakes for Japan only games like Geneology and Binding Blade.
