A fan game huh? Sounds cool! Got any plans for it? I know when I say "I want to make a fan game" what I really mean is "I have ideas floating around but no real means to put them together" ._. But that's just me.

yello, there. Looks like I can finally make an intro topic! I've lurked a while before joining, like ya do. Been playing a lot of Heroes lately, but I've played through every main series game released in the US. Also recently started Genealogy. Anyway, I'm looking to have some fun, make some friends and talk about those Fire Emblems.

Interesting stuff! I second @Interdimensional Observer's request for Marcia's quips. Also, can make requests here for games other than FE? In Pokemon G/S/C you run into a Team Rocket grunt in Cerulean City that has an unusual way of speaking. Always wondered what that was like in Japanese.

Those "leaks" sound pretty interesting, I'll admit. I'm not inclined to believe them so early though. I don't know how far along development is, but the leaker seems to know a lot of details for someone who just "works at Nintendo." But who knows? Speculation is part of the fun of new games.

I had this idea for an armored wyvern rider class called a Dreadnought. They'd have relatively low movement, low speed and resistance, but crazy high defense. Basically a flying tank.

YES please Nintendo give me some Golden Sun. I don't even care which character. On another note, it's a long shot but I've wanted to see Travis Touchdown since before Sm4sh was announced.

This would've been a good opportunity to use Sanaki's unused adult concept art. Would still like to see her in-game someday.

I voted no, but... I prefer having limited durability to Fates's godawful system. But I never use legendary weapons because I don't want to waste them. ._. Maybe durability would be more tolerable if, when used up, a weapon would revert to a "broken" state that can't be equipped, but could still be repaired for money. That way you won't have to worry about losing a rare weapon forever.

@Soleater Weight determines whether or not a unit can follow-up attack. Heavier weapons are usually stronger, but have a harder time hitting twice. I think speed and constitution play a role too, but I'm not exactly an expert.

I'm digging Tharja's black wedding dress. The new Link and Feint skills are intriguing. Not sure who I'll pull for, but I'm leaning towards Ninian.

I'm sure a lot of people will say that it hasn't aged well, (going back to it after getting used to newer game mechanics ain't easy) but it was my first FE game so I'm a little biased. It's a solid game; I'd recommend it.

I like these! The deploy option reminds me of FF Tactics Advance. Dunno if that's where you got the idea, but I've wanted something like that since Revelations because the army is massive but there are so few deployment slots.
