I'm all for having third tiers returning, but I honestly don't see it happening. The overall length of the game would have to be long enough to justify having characters promote to a third tier. I'm thinking at least 30 main story chapters. And considering the fact there is the possibility of route splits, they would be making even more work for themselves creating an extensive campaign for multiple routes. Considering that route splits can potentially create far more overall chapters, I could easily see something like that taking up over 50 unique chapters easily, which I'm not sure IS has the time to make.

One of the things I'm curious about from the trailer is the auras surrounding the characters at the end of the trailer. Normally if you see two characters with auras fighting each other, you think nothing of it, since that's normal in shonen. However, the dancer girl, who's not involved in the fight, also has an aura surrounding her. I'm almost of the opinion there is something more to it.

I looked up the pronunciation myself, and I heard something along the lines of Kah-moi.

You know, a part of me is willing to try this at some point in the future. Getting the Majora's Mask New 3DS, so I'd still have my old 3DS to use for the exploit.

Something like the Treehouse Live @ E3 seems pretty likely to happen, since the popularity was high enough that they had that Treehouse Live @ the Treehouse event a few weeks before Smash 3DS came out.

That's highly likely. Even more so if they speak about any possible amiib compatability with the game Nintendo is sure loves pushing amiibo uses on us. Actually, because I was mildly curious, I looked at E3's dates for the year. E3 offiically starts the 16th, which is also when Nintendo holds their press conference, so we're exactly 5 months out now. This wait is going to be murder.

That would be the greatest miracle ever, pushing up the games release by at least 2-3 months.

No confirmation has been given, but I've typically seen reports in Famitsu of games not long after their official announcements, so even if doesn't show up this upcoming Wednesday, any new game that's been announced is going to covered by them at some point. Come to think of it, wasn't Awakening covered by Famitsu shortly after it's announcement?

I'm not really sure how it works for Famitsu, but typically I see scans show up online on Wednesdays, so that's when I'm assuming the next issue's scans will show up.

Right now, it's a bit too soon to tell, but I'm guessing at the very earliest this upcoming Wednesday, when Famitsu scans come out. There's no way Famitsu isn't going to have at least some kind of scoop on the game. Though how long it'll take for all of the text to be properly translated is another matter entirely.

Personally, I'd prefer if they somehow managed to completely recreate classic Fire Emblem games as DLC. It would serve as a way to bring the games to America without having to spend too much extra effort on making them, allowing IS to spend more time on brand new titles.

I doubt it's Chon'sin, but I'm sure we'll know within a week's time, since I'm assuming Famitsu is going to have a small feature in their next issue on the game, with screenshots showing stills from the trailer, and a certain amount of story details.

Right now, the main things I want are more varied map objectives, better designed maps, and to have Pair Up be better balanced.

There is that, though if a rerelease of the two games were to come, I'm beginning to think it would most likely be on the 3DS, since it would be more likely to sell well there.

IIRC, both Alm and Celica's route's in Gaiden had a mission that took place at a floodgate near the end of Chapter 3, I believe it was. Perhaps there was plans at some point to do another callback map in the vain of one of the other maps, like Ch. 1 from FE3.

Don't know how it is for you, but the patch update only showed for me after putting in the game disc and booting up the game, and the DLC downloaded itself at some point when I tried to access the eShop.
