Actually, FE12 can be played on DS and DS Lite systems. It's the DSi and 3DS where the region locking kicks in I believe.

I just hope someone scans the 100 heroes cards. It'd be a shame to not have the art around.

Shadow Dragon is still objectively better than FE3 Book 1 and FE1. Yes, I know it's a weak game on the whole, but it's by far the cleanest way to play FE1 while having all of its content.

The best part is that it's used in two boss battles. 'Course, while listening to the OST, this was followed by the final boss music which is such mood whiplash. xD Yes, I know that's how shuffle functions work but still.

You know what they say about assumptions... The real thing it showed was that SMT and FE were...crossing over. They didn't say what. Can't look at everything literally, y'know. That said, my dream for Walter meeting Chrom and having Mercerception is dead.

If you have a 3DS XL or New 3DS XL, then hold down the start or select button when selecting the game. The display of those games will shrink to pretty much DS/Lite size, therefor retaining the graphical quality. Although if you have a regular 3DS, you're kind of boned since the start/select thing will shrink the display to the size of a postcard lol.

Finn's around through the Jugdral games more than almost everyone else and lives to tell the tale. He's in Gen 1. He's in Thracia 776. He's in Gen 2. And he's playable the whole time, barring Chapters 4, 5 and 6 in Genealogy, where he's back at Leonster or doing other stuff while he's with Leif in Chapter 6 (AKA, Thracia 776).

Considering Genealogy had the option to marry Ares and Nanna together along with Patty and Lester and Lana and Faval (Aaaaaall cousins) and there was a glitch to get Seliph and Julia as lovers (HALF-SIBLINGS! :D:D:D), this isn't new. Oh, and of course obligatory Arvis/Deirdre plot-point.

Oh. I knew about Cell's but the only other one I thought was Mr. Satan's ripping a bit of Eleanor Rigby, /maybe/. Fuck, why did Trunk's theme have to be hit. :( Or just replace it with Hikari no Willpower. I don't think Yamamoto composed that, just made arrangements for UB22 and Final Bout.

Dunno why they couldn't just cut out the offending tracks (I only know of one, which is Cell's theme.) Plus J Legend Retsuden left the soundtrack intact (That compilation of games in Japan).

Hey old man TheEnd, good news: Super Butoden 2 is coming to the 3DS outside of Japan. Bad news: Well... There's your non-Yamamoto music.

Well there was that one bonus map in New Mystery that has you play as the assassins (Katarina, Kuraine, All the Legion, Eremiya and /Gharnef/...oh and Athena's there too)...

It should be noted, again, that Marth's is more of a FE3 Battle medley as it has the first part from Book 1 (And Shadow Dragon, but /not/ FE1) and the second part is Book 2's (And New Mystery of the Emblem's). As for Roy's theme, he doesn't really have one akin to The Devoted or Id [Hope]. The normal boss music is bleh, the regular battle music is bleh... That leaves the unique boss themes. Shaman in the Dark is a no go for obvious reasons, as is Battle for Whose Sake (Zephiel's battle theme). That only leaves In The Name Of Bern. It would be awesome, but it's...not fitting for him at all. And the arena battle music is just Genealogy's which would be better saved for a potential Sigurd or Seliph fight.
