  2. If he uses one of 'em, I just hope they insert all of bookofholsety's text and not cherry pick some names out and whatnot. No changes to his script or names. Futz with that on their own and keep it to themselves, but insert /all/ and not most. *Nodnod*
  3. And, if the bosses are on thrones/gates, the classic boss abuse method. Not that it's feasible, but it is a thing.
  4. I agree about the translations. I don't necessarily agree about the patches. I don't need to be able to hack to see that FE5's needs a lot of spit-shining, but I'm also not about to bitch and say "I WANT THIS NOW". (Also I still see an older version of Shaya's patch tossed around that keeps those knee-jerk memetic lines in and it's /painful/.) Stuff'll happen in time, but patience is needed. That said, I saw this: https://bookofholsety.dreamwidth.org/8084.html?thread=162964#cmt162964 If people are able, this is the right way to go about it.
  5. Lame, but what can one do. Then again, these bandits are quite hammy.
  6. I wonder...might they be referencing the other bandits like them in the series? Maggie and Rose Paul and Jasmine Pain and Agony Victor and Vincent
  7. Well, based on what I read, there was no eshop update today due to Silver Week. So...maybe next week?
  8. Gotta emphasize that the Shinobi listed is the PS2 one. Hotsuma is not Joe Musashi like in the classic games or the two Super Shinobi games (Revenge of Shinobi and Shinobi III). Also I now have the mental image of the camera panning to Robin on the ground due to an attack from Juri. Chrom and Lucina come in to save him. "I guess I'll get my chance...another day..." A very important character to the Xenosaga games, which predate Xenoblade Chronicles. Still made by Monolith Soft, but this was before they became second-party to Nintendo. This was when they were with Namco, IIRC. Normally, KOS-MOS is seen with another from the same series: T-elos. I guess T-elos is either paired with someone else or a solo unit as they seem to be doing with some of the former paired units (Estelle, Pai and Leanne come to mind). Anyway, Chrom and Lucina were, as much as I hate to admit it, the logical choices for FE reps. Unlike Smash, Project X Zone is definitely made with Japan in mind first. The first game almost didn't make it internationally and Namco x Capcom definitely never made it. Ike or Marth as Solo units wouldn't surprise me the least though. Anyone else from FE would be highly unlikely. Also, don't expect Pokemon or anything like that. Sonic was considered for PxZ1, but they wanted to go with humans, or human-like characters.
  9. I found a video of the map. The map music is Bearer of Hope from the very same chapter it's based on. Sadly, none of the bosses, including the generic Not-Ludveck use special music, so Stalking Menace is omitted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPrSISq9LmA
  10. Hoho! So the boss is Ludveck basically. Interesting!
  11. I know. That was poor wording on my part. I was drawing a blank on Ike's base class name. I know Vanguard is the promoted one. Sorry for the confusion.
  12. Don't get excited. It's his base class in FE10. It's identical to his Amiibo. People futzed around with RAM hacking, so the model was already found. Lucina's a Great Lord and Robin's a Grandmaster, but they resemble their base classes (Lord and Tactician respectively).
  13. You keep saying that word. I don't think you know what it means.
  14. He, Yoko Shimomura and Yuzo Koshiro are just amazing in general. Example from Yuzo Koshiro from Revenge of Shinobi. (Note that this version is recorded from the PC8801 source, so the samples are higher quality than the in-game Genesis one): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvw9hPY_iZA
  15. I can't hate Xander after watching this. It fits way too well, lol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9j-pcjdpxBI
  16. First rule of any kind of software development: Eventually or when it's ready.
  17. His voiceclip when slain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxlhyX-4qKI I actually wouldn't be surprised if they went with something akin to Scylla of Greek lore. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scylla
  18. So how 'bout that Segata Sanshiro in PXZ2?
  19. In Japan. I know that the 3D master system games in the first compilation never made it here. I presume the same of Power Drift and Puyo Puyo Tsuu. There is, however, a very interesting leaked list of more Sega 3D Classics.
  20. Oh don't worry, Hoshido has the three not-characters compared to Nohr having 3 once-child characters.
  21. Fanbase. I feel like I'm in a microcosm of the Sonic fanbase. I think you know the implications of such a statement. But holy shit are the parallels apparent. Also folks? Magic triangle died with Shadow Dragon. Don't fault Awakening for that bit.
  22. As true as that is, I think Gaiden's is even more underrated. At least IS and even Sakurai seem to like to sneak in the occasional remix. Thracia has an enemy theme, Binding Blade has two, Sacred Stones has one and Smash Bros has had two. Hell, even RD had an unused Gaiden theme. https://youtu.be/FsT9eUO9N80
  23. You know what's funny? My favorite FE9 song...was originally in Genealogy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yReBRItWu0 Anyway, my favorite? Yeah, Genealogy. But Thracia is a close second. It's the only one that has a song for when you're close to losing. And the themes used like when Leif's being pursued really evoke a feeling of dread on the player phase. Hell, even August has two kickass themes.
  24. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OVv-J-LXQU I find it worse here than Mega Man 8 honestly. Plus X has /that same voice Mega Man has in 8./ Also X7. BURN TO THE GROUND BURN BURN TO THE GROUND BURN!
