Here's a simple idea, sprite Satan. Sprite a red satan with horns, and see how good you do at that. It should be somewhat simple anyway, lots of reddish and blackish colors. give him shades FFS

Well since you have basic anatomy down, why not try being a little more unique? Seriously, it's great that you can sprite "red hair girl" and "black hair girl" and occasionally "cat ears boi" but being more creative goes a long way, IMO. Das why I love Yoshi, pot smoking angel ftw.

To be fair, I hadn't seen his recent gallery. I don't think he's better than you, BUT, I also don't think you're better than him. Your sprites are plain and pretty well shaded and all that, his are unique and interesting but poorly shaded and etc. Therefore, I think he's more unique than you, but you're technically "better".

Hey there, I saw your entry in the last spriting contest and I liked it quite a bit. I was wondering if I could have it for Phoenix Saga, as I have a male acolyte character and I've been thinking about having Yoshirider (The second place winner) sprite me a female acolyte, and your mug actually goes very well with that theme.

Good question actually. Up to now, it had no save system with little heard from Yeti on the matter. By the time I release my ragefest game I should have a save system up and running. The one other essential feature it lacks is a preperations screen, like after 13x in FE7 where you move items around and shit.

But anything can be coded in, which is awesome.

Haha, I am THE fexp project, there is no other of relative decency so far. It was pretty much Yeti and I up until he went with XNA, now I'm like, the person with the game.

Wait, you've seriously never heard, even remotely, of FEXP? BwdYeti made it, it's a fire emblem game creation kit for RMXP. Incomplete, he'll probably add more to it as his game progresses in XNA (He swapped to that for security and because it's a bit faster, but FEXP is quite speedy.)

Srsly now, FE7x, has you not heard of it?

Oh, and I have a working save system my coder is working out the final kinks for, should be done by march 17th. That's kind of the biggest missing feature being implemented.

I don't know how you feel about FEXP, but it has a lot of potential for customizing and stuff of that sort. You can import any tileset, slightly painful but you can, and the options for custom grafix are really unlimited.

Not only that, but as someone who appreciates a rich and full sounding soundtrack, I love being able to use legit music files like ogg and etc.

Was that your first ever FE5 tilesetted map? It's prettyfuckingood.
