  1. I see a lot of people quoting the "Caspar punches church member" as concrete evidence that we would be fighting the church. However Caspar was in his Noble outfit which suggests that the fight took place before 5th level where he could switch to Fighter. I don't think that a fight that early would guarantee the church being evil. That said now we know they are at least opposed to us.

(Also I stg if the rest of Golden Deer aren't commoners Ima scream. The only confirmed commoners we have are from the other two houses and the appeal of Golden Deer is that they have a lot of commoners. If "a lot" means 2 or 3 then I'm out.

I think they will be having 4 Commoners and 4 Nobles since the Leicester Alliance flag has 4 crests on it which implies 4 noble families. There is always a chance that their will be 2 nobles who are family and therefore share the same crest so it might end up being 3 Commoners and 5 nobles. So yeah the house full of Commoners will have 4 at most and possibly 3.

  3. Something just occurred to me about the screenshot where Caspar is fighting a western church soldier. The first class change people can take is at level 5. So by level most characters will not be in their noble outfits and instead will be in their new class outfits. However in that screenshot Caspar is still in his noble outfit which suggests that this fight takes place very early on as it should be before most characters hit level 5. This makes me believe that this is simple a sparring match because I think we would be tasked with putting down a "bad group of the church" before we even hit level 5.

  4. In the Article i believe they mentioned that there is a chance of passing down a minor or major crest. So even if say Edelgard is the eldest of her family there is still a chance she only inherits a minor crest. As for Felix he probably just got lucky to inherit a major crest. I really like that they are making the students more unique from each other by having one of them have a major crest. It's a good sign that they will actually be involved in the story instead of just being filler background characters.

    • Edelgard: D+ in Axes, D in Authority, D in Armour,  E+ in Swords
    • Dimitri: D+ in Lances, D in Authority, D in Riding,  E+ in Swords
    • Claude:  D+ in Bows, D in Authority, D in Flying,  E+ in Swords

Only thing wrong with this is that we've seen Edelgard's ranks and her axe rank was D, not D+. Makes me wonder if Dimitri and Claude will have improved movement ranks or if they will instead have a higher primary weapon rank.

This guy does seem like he'll be fairly arrogant. he looks kinda tiny too so I'm guessing he'll get a Napoleon complex. That's fine but I hope he won't be the third Ricken in a row.

I really hope not. I hope they're still portrayed realistically. Though i imagine this guy would probably the privileged snob character

Just look at him. He also looks like Ghiacco from JoJo Part 5 so i kinda just want him to get pissed off at the smallest things.

In the first Famitsu article he was telling Byleth that Linhardt said he eats too fast and was asking what he should do. I think he is much more likely to be the noble who isn't really that good at being a noble and struggles acting his class. Linhardt, however is my number one pic for the snob character. I mean just look at his face, it's in a constant state of disapproval.  Plus him calling out Caspar on bad manners does make it seem like he will be very stuck-up, at least to me.

Gee, I wonder why. It's not like you come off as incredibly unattractive and snobby or something like that....

Also, I believe his surname of Glostar is likely to be localized as Gloucester, one of the names on the Fodlan map. It's interesting, because Lorentz is the first non-lord student to have a last name that is clearly visible on the map. Guess he's (or at least his family is) a real big shot in both Leicester and Fodlan. Maybe he's part of one of the four potential families in Leicester that owns a crest? Interesting either way.

Sylvain's last name is Gautier and that was revealed in the feb direct. It's clearly visible at the northeast of Faerghus

  8. Either that or the main lords just get super buff ranks and Dimitri starts with D+ from the beginning, Edelgard having only a D in axes but starts with a D in armour to make up for it. If this version is true I'd say Claude would start with D+ in Bows. I hope it is the method Guest LSM mentioned however as it seems quite unbalanced.

  9. I believe the 4 different seasons represent the three lords and Byleth.

Flower represents Edelgard because her crest looks like a flower bud

Snow represents Dimitri because Faerghus is a cold place and his crest also looks like something close to a icicle.

Moon represents Claude because his crest is a moon (duh)

And finally wind represents Byleth. Not much info to go on for this but they have green hair, which is the traditional colour for wind, and the early battle map music translates to something like "Fodlan's wind" which could refer to Byleth starting out on their journey. So no I don't see another main character coming out of the woodworks soon because Byleth is the 4th main character. As for a 4th country that sounds somewhat plausible, A theory I heard was that the Adrestian empire went to war with a 4th nation, crushed it, and stole their land and history leaving the remnants of the past country to hold a grudge.

So here's a screenshot of the weapon shop, and there appear to be more spears than swords available (Maybe because you joined the Blue Lions?). Some of the weapons are also greyed out, which I don't really get because you have more than enough gold to purchase them. Some weapons also have the same name as another weapon on the list, except with ten more uses and a 3 in the second category. Does anyone know what the second category says?

I find it interesting that the Iron sword(I assume the first one is Iron) has 40 uses and costs 520g, Iron lance has 30 uses and costs 560g and the Iron axe has 45 uses and costs 600g.

They seem to be trying to balance the weapon types by making swords cheaper and more durable to make up for no 1-2 range. 30 uses on lances kinda sucks though.

Also weird that Steel weapons have more uses than Iron ones. I wonder why they changed that, I like it though.
