I could be wrong, but I think the character at the top of the right page (above Rhea) is new. Also, Jeralt looks kind of intimidating there.

I wonder what class Hannemann will be, in trailer 1 he appears to be an infantry magic user; but the teaching implies he focuses on Reason; Bows and Riding, so some sort of long range riding mage archer I guess? That would be odd but cool.
We know at least early on Manuela is a Priest; but maybe she'll end up as a singing Faith user? Maybe Faith and Reason since she casted a fire spell in trailer 1.
Catherine will definitely be a Swordmaster.
Alois will be an Axe General/Baron/Marshall.
Ceteth is a lot harder to place; unless you know what you know about his class from Thani.
Hannemann might start as a Mage and have a Reason, Bow, and Riding class as his intended promotion.
I wonder if one of the armor classes will use Fighting, since Alois teaches it and Dedue has a strength in it.
SpoilerConsidering that the only weapon types left are Lance, Flying, and Authority, Wyvern Rider makes sense for Ceteth either way.
-
I wonder if they'd go with Marshall or Baron for a fourth tier Armor class.
If the traditional specialty classes do get secondary weapons, I think Swordmaster might get Fighting. Both Felix and Catherine seem to specialize in Swords and Fighting (as well as Bows for Felix), and Felix in particular definitely feels like he'd be one.

Edelgard's and especially Claude's promotions are two of the things I believe the most from the leak, and I would be really happy if they are real. Dimitri's supposed promotion, however, I'm guessing is fake. I think Thani either lied about it or maybe thought the Lord class was Dimitri's specifically. We don't know how her source had described it (or pretty much anything else), unfortunately.

They could also be using a different name for the Cipher symbol because they thought calling it the "Crest of Creation" would be a bit more of a spoiler.
-
This is based both on their designs and the little bits of their personalities that we know.
S Tier: Bernadetta, Felix, Ashe, Claude
A Tier: Petra, Edelgard, Dorothea, Sylvain, Dedue, Ingrid, Mercedes, Lysithea, Marianne
B Tier: Ferdinand, Hubert, Dimitri, Annette, Leonie, Hilda
C Tier: Linhardt, Caspar, Ignace, Raphael
D Tier: Lorenz
There aren't really any characters I straight up dislike so far. I don't really like Lorenz's design, but at least it is pretty fun to make fun of him.

No I'm pretty sure Alois and Cyril were two separate characters in the leak. I don't think we've seen Cyril yet.
They were, but Thani called the character we now know as Alois "Cyril," so I'm guessing there might be a member of the Church named Cyril who is from Almyra.

Thani said there is a character in the Church named Alois who was from Almyra, but she also called Alois "Cyril," so she might have gotten their names backwards.

Not at all, Enemy Bow Knight will be going for soft targets and Warriors aren't even confirmed.
Heavy Armor is a worthless skill for the player and should never return.
That's why I said "could."
I'm not saying it would be an incredible skill, but without knowing future classes, enemy stats, bow might, and map design, we can't judge a skill we don't even know is going to be in the game. Besides, if it were in it could be changed to be better. Considering the classes that use Gauntlets so far seem like high Strength classes and the inherent Brave Effect, theoretically halving damage from them might be very useful.

Thieves aren't going to be targeting Armored classes..
I was just giving an example. Classes like Warrior, Bow Knight, etc. could exist in later tiers and might warrant halving damage from them.
-
Maybe the top level skills could negate effectiveness against the movement types. And I agree with including Gauntlets in Heavy Armor.
5 minutes ago, Emperor Hardin said:The archer line is already confirmed to get increased range as a class skill, so it'll still be useless.
Heavy Armor should stay dead and buried.
There are non-Archer classes that use bows, like Thief, so the increased range wouldn't necessarily make Heavy Armor useless.

We only have four in the beginner tier.
We're guaranteed to have at least two fighters.
They're saying that they won't reclass characters into a different class in the same tier (such as having Edelgard go from Brigand to Mercenary).

Tier 3 could easily take up 2 spaces. You have Cavs, Armors, likely 2 flyers, mercs, thieves, mages, priests, and more things then I care to count
I guess I could have been more clearer, but I meant Tier 3 not counting Noble/Commoner. If the Intermediate Tier took up two spaces, than either there wouldn't be enough room for Tier 3 or there would be less Tier 3 classes than Tier 2 ones. Or the chart would just be able to expand, which would make trying to predict anything from it pointless (and it would be weird to start with so much room if it could).

Yeah, but close counter probably will be chip damage, or... Like the staff counter in RD lol
But I like that combat arts, like Curved Shot, now take durability instead of HP. Also what's with that Mini Bow Bernadetta had? Was that range 1-2 or was it effective against flying, which the iron bow wasn't?
I don't see why Close Counter wouldn't be like how it is in Heroes. The Iron Bow was effective against Flying while the Mini Bow wasn't, so I'm guessing it's going to be 1-2 range.
On another note, I saw this picture on the Twitter topic but I don't think it's been posted here. The gap seems big enough for three more tiers, so unless Tier 3 takes up 2 spaces, it's more evidence that there might be a Tier 4.

Wasn't Felix shown in a scan as a mercenary? Didn't saw him as a commoner/noble.
As much as I love Gaiden/Echoes, the promotion system/class lines sucked much. Hope the latter don't reappear and that the archers can actually hit lol
That was just showing off mercenary, in the same way that this weeks scans showed the house leaders as Lords despite starting as Nobles.
I think what they seem to be doing with Archers is a good middle ground between standard Archers and Echoes Archers. Knowing both Close Counter and Bowrange + 1 are in this game already makes them seem a lot better than most games, and they seem to be accurate enough. I just hope Close Counter won't take too long to get.

My guess is, some classes might have the same skills. Like cav and peg share canto, but the other 2 skills are different.
And I don't think Myrmidon and Mercenary have the same "class line" like in Echoes. Felix would be tier 2 already from the beginning then, and I just can't see that. I imagine if you focus on swords, you can go myrm, but if you focus on swords and a bit on axes, it could open the mercenary line.
All of the students start as Noble or Commoner, including Felix. I do agree that they aren't the same class line though, mostly because I don't think class lines are going to be very strict.

Knight, Cav and Peg have definitely their promotions too. Would be stupid if old tier1 classes can't promote to their advanced class.
Hilda is in one scan a lv9 fighter/brigand im pretty sure there'll be a second promotion at lv20. Lv5 T0>T1, Lv10 T1>T1(advanced tier1)>T2, Lv20/25 T2>T3.
All depends what the level cap is this time. Since Levels don't rest when promoting and reclassing, I can see a level cap at 30 to 40
If I'm thinking of the same screenshot, Hilda was just an axe using Noble.
I'm guessing the level cap is going to be 40, seeing as the experience requirement per level seems to be scaling like in Heroes (Petra needed 110 exp to get to level 3).

Also i assume that battalion will be an huge thing in the game, so i am tempted to put Felix's one in a low tier unless there is an equivalent to the langrisser ranger(a very strong class that can't use troops), in that case, Felix would likely be the best ranger.
Felix has a weakness in Authority, so he probably wouldn't be the best use of troops anyway.

I don't know, but I just have a feeling that the Black Beast fought in the second Three Houses trailer is actually Lysithea corrupted, as I think the Iron Maiden from the first trailer is Edelgard corrupted.
(Edelgard's crest is on the shoulderblade of the iron-maiden. It's HIGHLY likely that it's literally Edelgard)
Well the Black Beast is using the Crest Stone of Gautier, so if it's any of the students it would be Sylvain.
As for the Robot, it could just be signalling that it is connected to the Adrestian Empire or the Church, considering that Edelgard's crest is the crest of Seiros.

I think Canto existing in this game might help the usefulness of Confidence. If Ferdinand does take damage, he can Canto into the range of a healer to be at full health at the beginning of Enemy Phase, or just to avoid taking too much more damage.

I'm not sure what else the arrows in the video could mean, though. The arrows appear before the task, so it can't be how well they performed during it.

This may be a small thing; but seeing as though Petra is from Brigid, it shows us that the game is giving some sort of attention to the bordering nations of Fodlan; and Thani did say that they would get such attention - such as Claude being half Almyran; his mother being the daughter of the Duke of Leicester and his father being the Prince of Almyra.
Thani also mentioned Petra being foreigner, but some people already theorized that due to her speaking style so take it as you will.

Another new video on the website shows a group task that boosts Flying, and shows that Hubert and Dorothea each have a weakness in in it. I can't link it now, though.

I'm guessing it's less literal facial hair and more a feather-like plumage. And even if it does end up being actual hair, a giant flying lizard with hair isn't any less believable than the same thing without it.
