Thani made a very interesting comment about Solon.
It's likely that he's very significant. Maybe he's behind the Crest experiments?
Hm, one person mentioned he's behind Marrianes dark past(?), dunno but he kills/chokes someone female

Yeah, like Resire stays Nosferatu, cuz Resire has a different meaning I think? Also, I WANT THAT SHAVER SPELL RN! lol
I hope they pronounce the German names correctly

You know, since even the Japanese version of the world map is in English, is it possible that the English names were made first, and then translated into Japanese? It would explain the unusual lack of changed names, too.
The game is heavily inspired by medieval Europe/Germany/Greek/France and by Shakespeare's book, which I forgot the name of.
I doubt the English names were made first. But maybe some good translation team had its hands on FE16, who knows? (I laugh if Atlus secretly translated it)

Since I have planed to do BL for my first run thru, and to steal Dorothea and Raphael, I give my charas those classes:
Byleth > Hero
Dimitri > stays unique but has swords
Dedue > bench
Felix > Swordmaster with bow
Mercy > Bishop with gauntlets
Ashe > Paladin with Reason
Annette > bench
Sylvain > Thief
Ingrid > versatile/haven't decided yet
Stolen Dorothea > Sage with Axes
Stolen Raphael > Grabber with Faith

The french Facebook page does the same. It seems they finally woke up and make the reveals faster.
It's a shame, because I really loved how it was done with the japanese Twitter. It was exciting to jump on Twitter every two days to discover someone, and it had more infos and a video to listen to their voices. It really built up the hype. (Btw, I'm not totally sold on the japanese voices. Too many high pitches. Maybe it's because they want to contrast with the time-skip voices, which could be deeper. But I think I'm still going for the english VA).
Imagine we'd get Euro voice cast, like in RD, and a garbage one like in RD lol

They seem fine.
Seems like they are releasing this now a little faster than before.
Yeah, I think they post 3 students each Friday, so every student has the bio translated/released before launch
*Edit: theyve posted 3 students also 2 days ago, guess they really hurry up now, to reveal the characters

Fire Emblem Germany fb page just posted Annette, Caspar and Iggy
Dunno if the bios are correct this time

It's subtle world building that even though the monastery accepts commoners, they only make up a small selection of the student body. Even the Golden Deer which has the most, only has 3. This shows that while they're relatively progressive compared to some settings, the elites are composed of people from wealthy upbringings, which not coincidentally, are usually nobles. If that wasn't bad enough (in the sense that people are born unequal), manynoble students have crests and commoners do not.
Greil is the one who taught the Black Knight, more or less the strongest human in Tellius after a mature Ike, and the Black Knight seemed to have considered Greil in his prime to be a worthy opponent. I'd say they're fairly equal in how renowned they are.
Greil was also one of the 4 riders of Daein, dunno if he was the strongest.

Weren't Raphs parents killed for being really tasty? I believe they were eaten by monsters rather than robbed by bandits. Ignaz even gets a bit uncomfortable about it when mentioning monsters are attacking merchants during the treehouse section.
Yeah, I think Raphs parents were killed by Terror, not sure tho.
And who wouldn't be uncomfortable, if you hear Terrors kill people?
-
The thing with Rhapy and Iggy is, merchant families were most likely richer than your usual commoner family, thats why Raphs parents got attack and killed. Such things happend and still happen in rl

These are totally the base outfits for everyone post timeskip - like the uniforms for the Officer's Academy; if you revert back to Noble post timeskip you'll most likely get this model.
They still look to me, to be in those classes tho

Based from the images:
Bernadetta could be Sniper
Ashe could be Swordmaster
Lorenz could be Paladin
Hilda could be Sage
Caspar could be Fortress
Felix could be Hero
Lysthea could be Bishop

Ah? Her eyes changed into the "dragon eye" that's unique to manakete in the series while fighting Nemesis? Just like Mila in SoV?
Or the fact she shares the very traditional design of manakete with Naga, Tiki, or Mila, and seemly ability to slow down time since the first trailer? While serving as head of church in a religion that worships dragons?
The eye thing could just dramatisize(?) Tha she focused on something. While there was a Dragon in the trailer, with the Seiros Crest, I don't think she's a Manakete/holy dragon. And even if, she's long dead, unless resurrected Nemesis will randomly resurrect her.

Lorenz got an upgrade but he still looks like the love-child of Virion and Leon
Now I'll get nightmares, cuz you say Leon betrayed on Valbar. Nooooooooo!!!!
Jk, Lorenz looks fine. But he still gets friendzoned by everyone.

I just want to see Huby, Iggy, Dory, Mercy and Raphy post timeskip, damn it!

She certainly looks like there's some connection, but honestly I am not sure if Sothis is even playable at this point. We know she talks to Byleth in his head, and while we saw her in his room and as a requirement for a paralogue, that doesn't exclude the fact that she may only be a projection/spirit that only Byleth can see and interact with.
A little unrelated, but since you brought the sword up, do you know what I have noticed? Byleth's sword is missing the crest stone. Every single legendary bone weapon we've seen has a crest stone attached to it. In every single scene that Byleth or Nemesis wield the sword, it's hilt is hollow. However, there is one scene where the crest stone is present, it's in the first trailer where Seiros hugs the sword. Could Sothis actually be connected to the missing crest stone?
In the current trailer, we see the Crest manifests in Byleths sword, where he goes super sayan
-
Nope. IF she's playable (which I hope she isn't) I doubt she'll be able to weild Byleths personal(!) sword.

It's minor and ??? at the same time. Major crests have the text "Emblem" at the top of the icon. Only Byleth and Felix have this.
Byleth has the Fire Emblem /Crest of Flames, what Emblem does Felix have?

Aren't the proc skills Crests now? Like how the Crest of Flames is like Sol.
But what Crests could be potentially have Astra, Aether, Ignis etc?

Myrmidon is the level 5 "beginner" tier class, remember.
And no class skills have been actives thus far. I think actives are exclusive to Combat Arts. All other skills have been passives, so no Sol or Astra for Swordmaster.Hm. Could be, could be not
-
Since Heros now have Myrm and Swordmaster skills, one could think Myrm has Armshrift and Swordmaster gets Sol this time.

Did someone translated all the scans already? Or is Vincent writing his analysis already?

I'm sorry, I'm always late for the party *cries in corner and blames the crests*
