I would say try to limit it to a chapter a day later on. Early game when the chapters are shorter it's fine to do multiple, but personally I do one or two chapters later on depending on my mood. If I'm frustrated with a certain chapter I just quit and count that as my chapter for the day.

It's easily the most well known SRPG series because of Smash Bros.

I miss weapon durability. I feel like it's part of the series identity.

You're basically cheating the systems put into the game, so I would say yes that would taint it. Most of the DLC stuff also doesn't sit right with me. I actually like the randomness of the bond rings since they make every play through the game more unique.

At the bare minimum it feels like the most important thing you need to do is collect your dog ingots. Every time I go back though I compulsively do everything . One thing I think isn't worth doing is fishing, unless there's some way to guarantee you get the rare fish every time the bond fragment reward is low while it takes a decent amount of time to do all three. Petting and feeding Sommie plus sweeping his cave is a relatively quick way to get bond fragments. Cooking and working out are obviously nice for the stat boosts, but I could pass on them. Wyvern ride is looooong. Arena is quick, but I could also pass on it. What do you all usually do? I feel like I have a huge amount of bond fragments, but I haven't been making or melding many bond rings which seems to be the biggest sink for them.

Does this affect the rewards you get after chapters/paralogues, or is it purely for skirmishes? The only thing I would want from it is the increased bond crystals and smithy materials so I don't know if it's worth it or not. Seems to be a huge money sink.
